When I first heard about the buddy pass, I was on a trip with my mom and we went up to the cast member when we got there and asked and were at first disappointed when she said she wasn't able to give them to us yet. Then we looked at the standby wait and realized it said 5 minutes and we walked right on. Then later that day we got to try it when the line was at 60 minutes and walked right on. Perfect for 2 people!
We just went DCA (for the first time since 2017) on Fri 7/19. Seemed like a decent crowd size. I went on 18 rides, average wait time = 6 min, longest wait time = 23 min (Radiator Springs), & got to go on everything we wanted to, including: RSR, Guardians, Soarin, Web Slingers, Toy Story (twice) & Incredicoaster (twice). Much of it thanks to the tips from this channel. W/o your tips, our wait times would have been much MUCH longer, & we’d had ridden far less rides. Very grateful for what you do here, Traver (& family)! 🙏🏼

I don’t think you have to address the complainers unless you really want to. One time a commenter said something about YOU complaining about LL and you explained, w/o being mean, how it could be run more efficiently. It was an excellent response to an ignorant statement. I noticed there was a CM at Soarin’ who followed your advice - she had that line moving beautifully with LL, single rider, AND standby.
I’ve been waiting for you to comment! 😅 We got your box, but we haven’t opened it yet. Is it something that should be opened sooner rather than later? Or can it wait another two weeks or so and we’ll open it on a live stream? Thank you!

Could you suggest the best locations to find the photographers? And which attractions include photos during the ride? (Like the one Splash Mountain had). 2) Would you consider a video with suggestions for tourists from other countries that can only go to the Disneyland Resort for two or three days? How to make the most of the visit?, considering a trip like this can only happen every so many years. Thanks again!

Wow it’s a lot quieter than I expected for June/July. We didn’t even consider coming over during those months because we thought it would be ridiculously busy. We are coming over from Australia in October next year.Hope we have crowds like that🤞

You are doing a terrific job with you comments, you share many positive comments and your enthusiasm motivates me to want to take my family to Disneyland again, but if you do not like something you’ll share your honest opinion. That helps us make good choices and improve our experience when we visit. There are other UA-camrs who manufacture controversy by posting negative videos just to get views. I am glad you don’t do that.

I just went yesterday, Monday July 22nd, for one day and parked hopped and it was absolutely packed in the afternoon in DCA 🫠 hot, crowded, long lines, ride closures right and left. Not a vibe

Have a question…what about if my family are in the line and then they need to go to the bathroom?can they go ..and come back with me in the spot ? How do people handle that bathroom issues especially if we are planning taking our kids
@@drguerrero5384 I would highly recommend taking regular bathroom breaks. Make sure your kids have gone to the restroom if it’s been at least an hour since their last visit and the line you’re getting into is 45 minutes or longer. But if you have a bathroom emergency, one adult can leave the line with the child and return. Just speak to a cast member in the ride line if one is nearby. What you should not do is send one person into line to hold your spot while the rest of the family goes to the bathroom or does whatever, and then shows up 20 minutes later to pass everyone in line. Wait until your whole party is gathered and done with bathroom breaks or snack breaks before entering the line. But absolutely, bathroom emergencies happen. And it is appropriate to leave and return. No one around you is going to be upset. In fact, I was once with both of my children without my wife and one needed to go. I was going to just leave the line and take both children out and we would lose our place. But the family behind us said they’d keep an eye on my oldest (who is old enough to ride by himself anyway) while I took the youngest to the bathroom. They were so nice and it all worked out.
Complaints that there wasn’t enough at DCA to justify the Genie+ cost. There wasn’t an actual need for it, but none of the other rides can handle LL or even make sense for it. Like imagine an LL on Golden Zephyr and it’s 15 people that ride it every hour. 😅
@@DMartin2005 I would say so, yes. Though there are some rides, like Goofy’s Sky School that is very uncomfortable even for me. But this is the exception, not the norm. Most rides are fine and I rarely see anyone turned away for size. I have seen this at Disney World (Tron) and Universal (Velocicoaster) before, but not at Disneyland.
@@LynetMtz-12 If two are children you can squeeze. But I’m also fairly certain a single rider could use it too. So you could split to 2 and 1 if needed.
