It's funny that they talk about the Knicks trade for Bridges as some sort of desperation move. They traded 5 first-rounders, at least 3-4 of which seem like they will probably be in the late 20s. Big whoop. The Dubs trading FRPs that will convey after Steph retires in conjunction with one of their young stars is just a flat out better offer.

Hate using Knicks as a comp. They are going to make the playoffs for the next 5 years even if they have some injuries. Thibs will grind out wins with whoever.
Their whole team is under 30 except Randle / Hart who just turn 30 next season.
Basically, the 2031 Knicks pick is vulnerable. All the other picks will be late 1st rounders.
Lauri has injuries every year though. His stock will go down if he has another mid-season injury. He's a great player but it doesn't matter if he's going to be playing the Kawhi schedule.
what is the chance that Lauri actually asked to be traded to GSW and Danny Ainge gave him some scripts and told him to leave the negotiations to him.

@@thewarrior8380 I'd be more into keeping Podz than Kuminga. I think Kuminga's ceiling is good role playing wing but his current trade value is high. Podz is a role player too but has high BBIQ and goes 100% at all times.

Should have drafted Cam Whitmore when he fell to the warriors lap on the draft. We could have 2 future wing players with kuminga too.
Lauri doesn't care about money, he said even with the last contract that he doesn't need that much money but he wants the big deal because it shows players value in the league. Also he likes of the idea of seeing how far he can take a team instead of hopping from team to team chasing wins.
He likes the Utah weather and nature over big cities (weather there is similar than back in Finland except not as cold in the winter). He values family and his family likes it in Utah.
I find it very very unlikely for him to be pushing himself out of Utah unlike other teams fans would like 😃
The weather and access to nature isn't all that different in SF though.

There is always another just because you only hear Golden State talk remember Donovan Mitchell trade Knicks thought they were the only team and tried to offer less for him because they thought they had the leverage and then all of sudden he was traded to Cleveland no one saw coming
That caller made too much sense. We saw last year, we have too many role players. We need 1b or option b. This is the cost for that. Podz isnt too bad, the picka wont matter because the team will be good enough to compete for chips.. laste 1st round picks

I like the Jeremy grant idea but I’m not trading moody for cam Johnson. Moody is trending up n cam was nice early but kinda plateaued

Utah does not want to wait until next summer or even February. They want to lose games to get the best odds in the draft. LM causes them to win too many games. Utah has to become very bad from game 1. They have no interest in having the 6-12 picks.
I’d do the trade if it was for an all NBA type of player not a 1x all star. I’d do the trade for Bam, KD, or Bron. Otherwise hell no

Trade for trae young and you will have a future all star for the after curry years. Trade curry for a solid big men to match with trae young. That will be warriors new future
