As an aspiring author trying to write a book with the intention of seeing it on screen this show gives me hope. There is no way I can write a worse story even as an amateur

I downloaded The Witcher Seasons 1 and 2 with tears in my eyes. I knew that if Henry Cavil the giga chad isnt part of season 3. Those two seasons would go onto become masterpieces. This why I am watching a lot of Kdramas. The storytelling is superb. They can mix genres effortlessly. The Alchemy of Souls is a fantastic show that moves long at a cracking pace and gives us twist on twist.

I bet the reason that fight choreography is so bad in shows like this one, Willow and Rings of Power is because the 'REAL" fight choreographers in Hollywood were too 'toxically masculine' for the show runners....so they hired wimpy people with no experience to run the fight scenes.

All these adaptations make me cringe. They literally had a guide that told them exactly how to make a show, from the successful Witcher games OR the books themselves! People seem to like it but I didn't. It was plagued by the same problems as S7 and S8 but it did have it's shining moments.
Still, the three shows mentioned above are literally one and the same. If i had to rate HOTD I'd say it's worse than the first 4 seasons but better than anything after that.
Fantasy makes it to mainstream with game of thrones. So excited. Woke cult takes over media and corrupts all things after to include 1/2 of game of thrones. Same thing with zombies. Actually it's quite interesting to compare this Michelle Yeoh vehicle to her biggest role - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - 20 YEARS AGO. That actually featured women's plights as a major theme. I love Lexx. Not as big a fan of the last season but all the previous is brilliant. What imagination. No writer or producer today has even a thimble full of imagination necessary to make something like that. And, oh the horror, a super sexy female character with depth and emotion!
