What are birds local to you that you want to photograph?
The hummingbirds that live in my neighborhood on the Oregon coast are my favorite.
Northern cardinal
Can somebody tell me- how to use a photo of bird?
There is a pair of Sandhill cranes that I have recorded for about 5 years now. There is an egret in the area this year as well as a pair of ospreys that have made a nest nearby (Although I only have a 55-250, so they are a bit far away for me.) and I occasionally see herons. Songbirds tend to be too fast for me.
I look forward to photographing some grey herons, jays and ravens here in the UK! 😊
Sauce pan looks like a great tool. I never heard of it before.
Really friendly and practical presenter, keep it up!
Love this, Emilie, and will be sharing it on my blog.
Excellent presentation Emilie 💖
Thanks, great job
Awesome video and tutorial 👌
Great thanks 😊
Thank you for these amazing tips
Right I love them
Thank you so much
Great video!
Merci beaoucoup pour cette video 🙂. J'adore .
Thank you.
That little plate thing with the ball head on it is super cool! I’ll have to pick one of those up
You can use a plastic platter with a cheap pillow or a folded towel on top.
The pillow will dampen movement.
popular subject.
Bonjour madame , from India 🇮🇳
Great tips, especially tip 2. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thanks. On the 150-400 lens, for me the problem is not so much finding the subject, but finding the cash.
You should aim for those 500/600mm f/4 on FF.
Excellent information, I am liking the OM Syster Olympus system...going to investigate. What is the plate/pan you have your platyball head on?
it's the Naturescapes SKM-II Skimmer Ground Pod II: bhpho.to/3Qmoi53
What type of holster is on her belt for resting the lens/camera? It looks useful.
It's the Think Tank Photo Camera Clip Adapter. Check it out on our site here: bhpho.to/2COoJ1D
I noticed that you had one of your photos shot at 80 ISO... This is incredible but what digital camera shoots at such low ISO??
Also, where does one purchase one of those ground pan - like tripods...what a awesome looking gadget!!
the nikon z7 ´s and the z 9 can be shot with a base iso of 64
Might be a typo for 800 ISO
The Sigma FP L can go as low as ISO 6
It's extended low ISO on the OM-1. Base on this camera is 200.
Bird photography is difficult.
Yes, you're absolutely right; it is difficult but what makes it rewarding is the patients you invest in photographing birds.
If I may suggest; instead of waiting for a bird to appear, perhaps go somewhere where there's an abundance of birds (species doesn't matter for now) and practice your compositions.
Much like a newbie fisherman learning to catch a fish; gather them into a bucket and sink your hook in the middle of the bucket. Guaranteed you'll catch something...the same goes for photographing birds - put yourself in a location - like I mentioned earlier, and practice shooting. Hope that helps & good luck 🤞
Can I ask why 5.6?
Most of not memtion exposer for birds shotimg
You could have used a more affordable lens. Jesus Christ wept.
Useless tips
Useless comment.
I invest in good lenses more than a camera, you can get great pictures even with 300 dollars cameras, but I spent 2000 dollars on a 600 mm lens.
Very true!
