Couldn't agree more. I love Keane and just about every song they've put out, from all three albums, and all their different B sides. Perfect Symmetry was different, but excellent. They've earned my total trust that if they put out something, anything, I want to hear it!
I have to say that "hopes and fears" and "Under the iron sea" are brilliant but now Keane changed thats why "Perfect Symmetry" it's so different, but I think that is a great album, different but great. :)

But if I think of my first approach to this song (a 2020 I think, live version with Tom singing and playing guitar), I have to admit I prefer that one, cause you can clearly hear how Tom s voice got even better through the years, more subtle, more in control, especially now that he has been sober for quite a lot of time. I find it interesting that I m almost accidentally discovering things "on reverse": I actually began to pay attention to the band on January 18, this year, 2024; started with some new versions, to then discover the original ones, and that way i kind of perceive changes more cleary than if it had been progressively and the other way round.
