Here's another 18 millimeter Miami Cuban Link Chain we made today. We made this chain made entirely out of 925 sterling silver and covered it with a thick layer of 10 karat white gold. The chain has a total diamond carat weight of 50.69 carats, and the chain itself weighs 536 grams which is almost one and a half pounds.
For the diamonds, we used both baguette and brilliant cut vvs moissanite diamonds. All of the baguette cut diamonds on this chain are placed in a channel diamond setting and surrounded by brilliant cut diamonds in a prong diamond setting. This diamond setting helps the chain shine more and also protects the channel-set baguette diamonds from scratching over time. And ofcourse, this chain passes the diamond tester. This is because moissanite conducts heat and electricity in a very similar manner as to natural diamonds. Moissanite actually has the highest refractive index out of all gemstones, even natural diamonds. This means that moissanite actually reflects more light and shines more than diamond chains. Moissanite is also a lot cheaper than diamonds, which is why it has become so popular recently.
