It’s not just the climbing skills, editing skills, and the motivation I get from this vlog that keep me coming back. It’s also that Magnus just seems like a good and genuine guy. Magnus, thanks for all of this, I know it is time consuming and likely tedious at times but it’s appreciated.
Hey, That was only for the first 50 vlogs, since then I have done everything myself. Which is a lot of work and takes som of the focus off climbing, but is very rewarding at the same time:)
Just recently subscribed and started over from Vlog #1. Have to say the ending to this Vlog is perfect. Living the life, climbing with friends, visiting exotic locations, with friends providing the soundtrack. Beautiful singing, playing and ending. I enjoy this channel
Nice video. I really liked the song Viktoria played on the ukulele. Beautiful voice. Was really suited for this video. Magnus, what’s your attitude towards wearing helmets for sports climbing. When would you use one, when not?
Nolk Sey Thank you! I generally don’t wear a helmet sport climbing, but many people do and at certain crags you should. I have had rocks fallen pretty close to me, but that has been on the approach or while belaying. I always make sure not to stand directly underneath people climbing and not straight underneath the edge of the cliff since you never know who or what is above you. But it really depends on the crag and the routes. The crags I go to are usually so steep that you won’t hit anything if you fall.
Hi ! About mosquito thing - had exactly the same issue last time, and to our surprise, one of that anti-mosquito things you plug in to electrical outlet we bought for ~4 Euros in local shop resolved it for good. Consider trying it out yourself ! Good luck !
pretty sure he onsighted the 7b+ and fell on the extention which is 7c and basically just a short boulder problem a few meters up to the next chains - at least it was that way the last time I went there and did that route :^)
Seems like the major drawback to those places where those sick tufas form is that they are major chossy and need lots of cleaning or just lots of adaptation. Still think Flatanger is higher on my list despite the extra expenses of staying in Norway.
I’ve learned now, the first thing I do when getting to Kalymnos is anti Mozzy plugs, they sometimes have them hidden in the draws of your accommodation but they work really well. I’ve had so many climbing days ruined by sleepless nights due to those little twats.
a question i have been dying to ask: how do you guys remove your slings, cams etc you place in the mountain when climbing led when you want to quit the route that is? how do you get it down w/o any bolts in the mountain?

Rob Ryan Magnus works with a guy to do the editing etc, AFAIK. He gets to focus on climbing.

Learning new skills in the long run is definitely more rewarding. Keep up the great work Magnus.

3:49. Shirtlessness is next to Godliness, so in Magnus we trust.
Veery cool climbs! I am sad i cant do them! Hopefully i will be able to do those 7s one day! :)

How would you clean such a route like jaws? especially if you can't manage to get to the top?
You seem to have handled running out of draws well overall, and that serenade at the end was a nice outro. :)
Please buy a drone or ask your sponsors, it will be really cool and gives your blog a higher level (If this is possible).
I see you use the same curses as me. "Fuck off", even if it is in a second language, really hits the spot
MORE SINGING!! Great voice
(good blog again big guns)
Earth = Incredible!!!
Magnus, how do you go about bailing on these super steep routes and avoid leaving behind gear?
Bail biners.
a question i have been dying to ask: how do you guys remove your slings, cams etc you place in the mountain when climbing led when you want to quit the route that is? how do you get it down w/o any bolts in the mountain?
Kalymnos is heaven
How do you clean a route this overhanged when you do not finish it?

How do you get the draws back down?
Tiniest wink @ 4:16
Technically it's "psyched",but who's keeping track?
What was that song's melody based on? I know it from somewhere :) @Magnus or anyone else, if you know the song, please tell me :D
Could u maybe "normalize" ur volum? music is a little loud

ait
How does he keep finding attractive blonde girls to keep climbing with?
