I wanna see a vid of magnus tryna discover a route, i wonder what that process is like of finding these locations that become so legendary and well known
He did some of that when he was younger. He helped bolt and open routes in Flatanger. He also found and got the FA on one of the harder boulders in Europe at one time. UA-cam wasn’t something he did in those days. It wasn’t a huge platform anyway at that point. He did that kinda stuff, and we didn’t get to see that process. Kinda sucks. He’s probably past those days now.
For being so incredibly confident so often, I really appreciate the humility & vulnerability it took to show that you were scared and doubting yourself on that last climb. Thanks for doing what you do, been a fan for many years!
@@oskarwow He says "fishes" and both "fish" and "fishes" are acceptable plural forms. "Fishes" does more often refer to more than one species of fish, which would be correct since there are indeed multiple species in the ocean.
Idk why, but as a longtime viewer, I love that Markus still works with you. I remember old videos where he would climb sometimes, and I'm glad he's still around.
I’m ten and I just got my first v4 and I love watching your videos with my dad you also helped us get better at climbing so thank you and please keep making videos ❤
The sincere, interview-type takes between climbing are well done... style-wise, content-wise, and tone... Keeps it charmingly personal, and more story-like, particularly when couched in the quiet, effortful stretches of climbing, the sound of the climber's breathing and details from the beautiful b-roll **chef's kiss** Quite engaging!! Glad the algorithm suggested this channel. Bravo.
From Canada and, I must say, much of the landscape is familiar to some areas here in the mid area of Ontario. I’m from the far North where it’s much flatter and mostly evergreens and ‘bog’ and winter is almost 10 months of the year! My niece visited twice after her Norwegian boyfriend Einar returned home (he spent a semester at her university when they were both undergrads and they both stayed with us for the summer before he returned home). She loved the country, the people and definitely saw parallels with Northern Canada.
Love these videos, and I do appreciate the many camera angles, but sometimes it does make me want a stable cut on the side so we can watch the whole thing continuously
As someone who's tried deep water solo for the first time this summer in Mallorca, 16m-20m is seriously scary. I was already scared shitless on anything that went to 10m or higher... having really hard moves on >14m sounds so damn sketchy to me, I took a few 8m falls and those already weren't very pleasant if I didn't land perfectly. Try deep water solo on the heights that I did, and you'll probably find this video even crazier / more impressive than you already do.
Dang, thats heck of an amazing video. It might not get the response it deserves in terms of clicks when compared to some other videos, but I really enjoyed it.
I love seeing your climbing videos so much, where i live climbing is basically not a thing, there’s no places nearby to go or anything climbing is just not a part of where i live, i wish i could live there and be around climbing because i love it
Every time I watch one of your videos, no matter how tired I am, I feel the itch to get on a boulder and climb. It's like listening to a great guitarist and wanting to get your hands on a guitar right away. Not many things make me want to emulate like you do!
I love the new outdoor videos AND can we please please get more of those old style ones with just you, no collab, just late at night at your home gym bouldering. Edit: just found the more magnus channel with some videos like that. The videos there are really cool and laid back you guys should check them out
Loved it!! So nice to see how much you loved the challenge and the fight! It is scary and hard but the fight is so much fun! The beauty is in the journey more than reaching the top ❤
Love ya Magnus you got me into climbing at 14 I’m now 16 I’m trying to be the next Magnus but that’s a big goal but I gotta dream big right? Love your vids you have introduced me to so many professional rock climbers it amazes me the amount of strength you guys have take care of yourself and keep making content!! The audio continues to impress me. There's no drone noise, despite the GoPro mic picking up very close breath noises. That's some very fine attention to detail. Whomever edits this deserves a cookie.
I’ve been all over Norway but it still always surprises me how incredibly beautiful it is. If it wasn’t so damn cold then I think I’d move there tomorrow!
Thank you for blessing us with another amazing video Magnus! Quick question, do you use ND filters when getting your drone shots? I think it might help the exposure a little bit if you don't! Love from Canada

Alex is on another level. Thirsty for fear

True! I hope he does a second channel video just climbing or coaching markus if he still climbs
The row boat approach makes the route 💯 times better

Yes very similar, except your more likely to see people jumping rather than climbing.
I saw Sondre in Fagernes on sunday. What a cool guy! Really great video Magnus and some good climbing from Sondre! I love this duo
The Opera ad was so unexpected I had to watch it haha. Never saw someone being sponsored by chrome or firefox
