There were some casualties regarding movies left out, my apologies on not getting them all in there. Total film count ended up coming to 349 different movies from all around the world.
This should be shown at the academy awards or put in a museum. This is probably the best time capsule looking back at the 2010’s. Whoever says modern movies aren’t good have no taste... 🤤
one of the best decades in film tbh, and this is not even counting many incredible works from all over the world
@@stonecat676 I know not only were there aton of great films but we've grown a lot in the film industry and who knows modern movies today will probably be classic in 20-50 years
Imagine this was shown to us before 2010, like a trailer for the coming decade...
The "Get Out" eyes in the eye sequence would freak us out
Can this be the opening to the 2020 Oscars?
let's make it happen
i wish
Let's make it viral
It’s probably going to be a LGBT flag
@@elijahbeach3834 what's that?
Fuck man I can not stop crying : /. This is so INCREDIBLY beautiful, words are not enough to express how emotional this video is. I truly and sincerely thank you for this, Nick.
Beautiful. Should show this to every soul who doesn't think editing is a true art-form.
Like The Oscars
Despite the fact that I also do these mashups, I rarely ever comment on others but Nick my man you blew everyone else out of the water with 6:45 I could only imagine the about of days it took to get those few seconds together, that level of dedication and patience is what us editors should all strive towards :)
Thank you so much for this!! That little eye sequence was an interesting turn of events. It initially started as faces for most of the edit but I started experimenting and found that focusing on the eyes ended up being more effective (and also easier to match between cuts)
@@NickKinder Nothing short of art my friend :)
This is one of the most beautifully put together mashups I've ever seen.
Bothers me deeply how this video doesn't have, and most likely won't have more than one million views
I love that you included a lot of foreign films. That is something that many of these types of montages lack. Loved the inclusion of Toni Erdmann, Blue is the Warmest Color, Your Name. and The Great Beauty to mention some. Would've loved to see even more.
It wouldn't be a proper decade video without including the whole world
Nick Kinder I love that you included lines from films that you didn’t show in the video like the one of Tom Hanks in Cloud Atlas 😍
i think i just experienced every emotion known to man
The sound-mix is a very underrated part in these mashups. The clarity of the dialogue is such a welcome surprise in this. Major cherry on top of the amazing edit. 👏🏽
IKR?!?!?!
Something even Nolan isn't capable of 😂
I'm sometimes arrogant enough to think I'm "film literate." It's a good thing I come across things like this to keep me humble.
This reminds me of how much I truly love movies, to my absolute core.
Nothing is quite like it, is it?
Thank you.
Same 💖💖💖
Seen this more than 30 times now, still spectacular. The best edit on UA-cam hands down.
Wow. I still have a lot of movies to watch before I even scratch the surface of this decade
Bro stop it, I only have SO MANY TEARS. But in seriousness, I can't believe I have a friend THIS FREAKING TALENTED. You've just got a different brain in your head my man, and I've done you a disservice by waiting MONTHS to watch this perfect video.

Oh no man... Parasite isn't the Korean version of US, it's one of the best movie of the past 30 years
Christopher Nolan was the best director of this decade... in my opinion
what the fuck u mean by korean version of us for parasite
Nice list man, (yes the parasite comment wasn’t the greatest idea) but u sure did remind me of a great decade. One other issue tho, u forgot my bae SWISS ARMY MAN from 2016
Was gonna like the comment up until that uncalled for comment on Parasite. It is a movie that can stand on its own and a fantastic one at that; it’s not a “Korean version” of anything.
Thank you for creating this. I use it as a source of inspiration every day.
That last couple minutes are an absolute gut punch what a beautiful thing you’ve put together
Please keep making videos. I always walk away feeling inspired, and full of love for film. I really can't think of another UA-camr that has consistently had that effect on me. Thank you ❤
This is absolutely stunning and shows off just how brilliant the last decade of movies has been. Thank you for putting this together!!
So glad I subscribed to you years ago! Such a fantastic video! Top-notch editing! Reminded me that there have produced quite a few movies this past decade that I’ve loved.
Incredible edit. So many beautiful images, and love the witty contrast/connection in certain shots/sound-bites. Great song choices too. Reminds me of my love for the movies
From the editing, to coordination, to music, to the wide various range of films (especially the ones I felt a personal connections to), it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. No other video in UA-cam has made me feel so emotional (and I watch a LOT of UA-cam). Thank you for reigniting my love for this media, and I very much look forward to more content.
Moved to tears as I so often am whenever I revisit one of your videos. Congratulations on yet another incredible work of art!
here before this blows up . gorgeous editing, especially at 6:45 .
the moment when emily blunt says “come find me when you wake up” and then it cuts to clips from Inception was probably one of my favorite moments
That was beautiful. I just cried so hard.
And the Academy Award for best UA-cam video editing goes to...
You undoubtedly made me cry. Thank you for including Leave No Trace, one of the most heart-warming film of the decade.
Thank you for including 'won't you be my neighbour?' that movie is just so emotional...
Somehow you included all the best moments from all the movies I was imagining. And in such a fluid way from one to the next.
I love your videos especially for the density and diversity of films. Only in your videos can a blockbuster and a documentary stand next to each other and seem perfect. That's how you know the editor truly appreciates film as a medium, not just individual movies.
This is unbelievable... Not only is it the best edited 'decade' video about film - but it's one of the longest. Great selection of movies that ACTUALLY includes the finest films of the decade (and not just all the widely-seen hollywood stuff), and an insane level of detail. As an editor of television content I can't imagine how fucking difficult this would've been with the amount of footage here. Its insane! Appreciate this, people!!
This made me cry like a baby. Thank you.
Someone should be paying you a huge salary to do this kind of work ... this was brilliance at its best! You have a new subscriber!
Whoever made this I wanna give you a hug.
I see someone enjoyed the soundtrack of 127 Hours, great edit man!
Good to see you making videos again.
And it's cool to see you utilizing all the movies released in the 2010's decade (2010-2019) for the video.
Thanks man.
I have no words. I'm left sniffling and this is amazing.
I'm so happy that you put so much more in this than Superheromovies!
Out of all the decade in film edits I’ve watched, this was by far the most stunning one. Thank you for making this ❤️
Absolutely amazing, i have watched this for more than 10 times now, and every time it makes me cry. Thank you for that.
Okay I have been watching a few of these decade movie recaps over the past few days and this is definitely the one that impacted me the most. It's so beautiful!
Made by someone who clearly appreciates film. Beautiful job
I have been working on a video of the decade to share in our insta page and after watching this just change my mind and instead will just share yours, this is pretty much the best anyone can do, congratulations 👏
Would've loved to see what you were working on but thank you, that is so cool of you!! What's your instagram page?

This video has nowhere NEAR as many views as it deserves. I am glad people are praising it in the comments - I haven't felt the full spectrum of emotions like this since Gen Ip's filmography videos nearly 10 years ago. This is simply a masterpiece. Well done Nick, please continue this incredible work!
Man this video really made me cry, you made me remember how special all these movies that I watched in my adolescence are to me, is easy to just forget how art and movies impact your growth as a person, but watching videos like this one make you remember how you felt when you watched all these amazing films. Thanks
I am so so happy that you are back. You created another masterpiece. You remind us why we need movies in our life. Absolutely great editing. Thank you.
Edit: I posted this on /r/movies and seems everybody loved it and it's becoming viral! So happy this is getting more views!
Wouldn't have found this video if you hadn't posted it, so thanks. I love movies...
It's a crime this doesn't have more views. One of the best videos I've ever seen. For the past year, whenever I need to cheer myself up, I come here and watch it. So beautiful
Wonderful video.
I love that transition from DiCaprio to Washington, Inception to Tenet
This is just divine. Makes me so proud to be a movie buff...
It's not a video, its piece of art. Thank you for creating it.
First time I've seen Carol and Peanut Butter Falcon incorporated into one of these rewinds. Much appreciated.
I smiled and remembered and cried and wow
Beautiful video, so many masterpieces released in this decade. This video reminds me why I love movies so much. Thank you!
Absolutely incredible. Thank you for your hard work on this. Well done.
This schould be showed at the oscars! What an amazing video!!
Wow.. I watched several of these mashups, but this one is by far the best I have seen! Every cinephile out there will love this! Thanks for creating this masterpiece
Amazing work. I can't begin to imagine the process of editing something like a year tribute in film, let alone a decade.
Okay, I started crying when you put Bing Bong and his quote in there.
This is now part of my daily routine.
"I'm not feeling blue right know, me neither", and me too, thanks for work.
This video made me relive the magic I felt when I saw these movies. This was a great decade for the cinema. Thanks for this video.
I don't know if anyone has commented this yet, but if you turn on captions it will tell you the name of the movie. Kudos to the person who made this because the captions alone would've taken forever
I love that T2 Trainspotting part.
I'm proud, as a french, to see french films and act(ors/resses) in this kind of video.
Thank you for including the names of each film! I've seen so many manips where they don't mention the films and it kills me.
omg this was one of the BEST movie decade mashups i've seen!! everything comes together so nicely :)
best thing on youtube right now
Just espetacular. Godly editing really
What a work of art. My God..

This is the epitome of what cinema is. We can't let this beautiful art form die. Thank you nick.
Subscribed back in 2014, love all that you do man!
Holy shit this is amazing and there are actual good films shown in this mashup. This makes me want to binge watch so many favourites from the ending decade.
Been 2 years and I still feel this to be the most beautiful and breathtaking edit I’ve ever seen. This is a work of art and I’ll always come back to it. Thank you for making this
This was pure poetry. Wow.
I thought Master Z: Ip Man Legacy or Ip Man 2 would be on this video, but other than that, what a great compilation
I watched your videos every year for a decade now. Thank you for making them, I really like them.
Im so glad you included the Place Beyond the Pines and Fury. Both underated
Wow congratulations on that wonderful video, it really makes me feel a little bit nostalgic.
You deserve way more praise and views for that great piece of art you made!
I can't get over how beautiful and well done this is. i cry everytime
Incredible each frame its own story beautiful

The fact that you put the father's monologue from Call Me By Your Name IS EVERYTHING, shit man this is so good I'm crying
He’s back people!!!!
