Would have been great if they were labelled in the clip. A few scenes in there I thought “I’d like to see more of that”, but no idea what they are from.
Are movies missing from this list or is this list accurate of every film in this video (below I saw the mention of kings man and I’m seeing a few I would expect that didn’t make the cut)
Legend.
The list is accurate to the films used, but there are certainly movies that came out during the decade that weren’t featured. There simply wasn’t enough room for all of them!
Ilse OF Dog ? That's a nice Film...you missed bro..
making me see my ugly crying face at the end was not mandatory BUT DAMN that was sumn else
Thanks so much! Was it Spider-Man that did it?
I feel like.. this is so underrated, this has been the best one I’ve seen 😭
Thanks so much! Help us get it out there. share it on Reddit or on your Facebook. anywhere. We are a small channel so we get eaten up by the YT algorithm but with help we can get it out there. Appreciate any support!
This is breathtaking. What in incredible ten years it has been. (Also the eyes opening at the beginning and closing at the end, I WEPt)
Thanks so much Lacey. There are so many great films from the last decade. This is just a slice of what we got. What was your favorite film?
Movie Nerds I loved inside Llewelyn Davis and la la land. But there are al these little moments I remember
holy hecking shit,,,,,,, whoever edited this is a god.
honestly this is probably my favorite video on your channel, maybe even the favorite of the decade.
you guys hit so many emotional beats throughout the decade and it was such a nostalgia trip...
you guys are A M A Z I N G
Really appreciate it! All credit goes to our resident edit god Ben Skinner. He is master and is clearly bonkers. how does he work out all the shots going together. He has done one for the past 3 years and this is my personal favorite. He's a legend. Share it amongst your friends! help us get it out there.
The emotional power movies pervade truly is shattering. Long live the cinema!
I cried during this video, more then I had ever cried over something in my entire life. Thank you for making this, I think it may have inspired me
Well that's just about the nicest thing anyone has ever said on our channel. Thank you
This editing deserves ALL of the awards. Plus, you using 'Heroes' at the end was just the cherry on top.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
Thank you so much. Really appreciate that. We are just glad people are seeing it. We make these every year so if you want make sure you subscribe
In 2030s ,
60% of these movies will become classics.
70% of these will be quoted.
80% of these will be easter eggs.
Such Great Grand era of cinema.
I'd agree with that! Interesting though isn't it.
Goddammit...Dobby saying Harry Potter killed me at 7:10 Edit: Nevermind, I wrote this before I saw the last 3 minutes. They got me weeping like a child :-D great work!
Haha sorry about that. So many emotions in the last decade. The one that gets me is Tom Holland in Avengers....😥😪
Alright, this needs more attention. Aside from some very, very minor audio issues, this is one of the best decade in film edits I've seen. When it got to the sad scenes, I actually felt some tears welling up and that has never happened to me watching something like this before. Knocked it out of the park with this one.
Thank you so much. We are stoked with the views but we'd be happy to get more :) thanks for taking the time to check it out and comment
Lord only knows the effort to blend all these gems together. Had laundry list of like 40 movies I was for sure looking for in here and you checked them all off. Special thanks for adding the Great Gatsby Scene, my personal favorite movie of all time!
Using Bowies song made me the saddest imagining that he died this decade
It was a way we got to appreciate his work too and all that he did for music ❤❤❤
I miss completely the Bowie song. Which one was it?
The final song is the Peter Gabriel cover of Heroes.
Props for featuring The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Heck yeh! Loved that movie
Yes thankyou!!! That movie is so so SO underappreciated. A real master piece.
@@bambi.1imb0 completely agree with you.
Most underrated movie of all time
I don't think I've ever been this emotional watching one of these, I ugly-cried, and I thank you.
Oh wow. Thank you. Really appreciate that. Thanks so much for clicking on the video. Much love 🤙❤
This is fantastically done! Some edits have really slick cuts but lose the flow, the build-ups, and the emotional threads. This one has it all!
The editing is sick.... . The sound track the scene cuts everything is on point . .. .maybe there should be an oscar category for people who edit like this....
All those who agree👍
Coming back to this video so often and I cant believe it has relative few views. Best video about the last decade it inspired me to watch many movies that i missed in the past years.
For us, it's people like you that keep coming back to watch our videos. It doesn't matter about the views. It's the community we build around our content and if more people like your self can find us than that's amazing. So thanks for checking us out. Makes everything worthwhile
This deserves way more likes and views, the best mashup if seen by far
Thanks so much. Really appreciate it. It's hard to compete with all the big channels. We are stoked with the views we have but if you have the means we'd love for you to share it anywhere you can. Reddit, Facebook, anywhere
Parasite, Climax, The Favourite, Portrait Of A Lady On Fire, What We Do in The Shadows, Eighth Grade, Hereditary, The Nightingale, Lady Bird and Get Out are my favourite movies of the decade.
2019 and 2018 were big years for you! Loved all of those films... still need to see Parasite! It's on my MUST sees
Movie Nerds yeah great movies from those years. You need to see Parasite ASAP. It’s incredible.
Eighth Grade was so under appreciated!
Wow! This is like the best decade Supercuts I've seen.
Wow. Thank you so much. Really appreciate that
me:*sees dobby* no stop
me:*sees logan* I SAID STOP
Amazing video, and the ending was incredibly powerful! What a great decade for film!
Thanks so much for that. We'd love it if you had time to share it with friends
Whoa...U are a legend.I wept like a child remembering the whole decade.what was that music masterpiece at the last 4 minutes.
I love that you got emotional from it. Movie are incredible with all the emotions they can make you feel. 🤙❤
Peter gabriel heroes
@@peterumathum4903 I missed that part of the comment. Thanks for chiming in mate :)
Wonderful! This is why I love movies. Congratulations for a fantastic edit
Thanks so much Julie!
This is the best 2010s tribute I've seen. And I spent the last week watching them all. Well done!
Oh awesome. Thank you so much. Really appreciate you including us in the watch. A lot of hours went into this one it's great to see so many people enjoy it
Lost a decade off my life editing this.
Bloody worth it though
Thank you for your sacrifice.
End and start of decade
Great job! Thank you.
This is really cool...thank you
This is amazing work! It must have taken you so long to do! We thank you for your time and talent!! 👏🏼
Ben the editor of this started in early May and finished mid December. It was a lot of late nights and lost weekends as this isn't our full time job. But we are loving how much love it's getting. It's incredible.
I'm speechless, this is just perfect! Brings back so many memories too!
Thank you so much.
Chills the entire last sequence. Great mashup!
This was absolutely on point! I was sure that there would be something left out but you nailed it. Every moment and scene! You even through in Sweet Country and Lion which are brilliant yet lesser known masterpieces! What a decade we've had! Thank you for the hours spent editing this
Thank you for stopping by to check it out. We do these every year. They are huge edits but well worth it in the end :)
This is by far the best editing I’ve seen on UA-cam in my life. I don’t think people understand how much work must have gone into it. Well done. I wish it had a million views.
Well that was 10 min of glorious Movie Making fun!
This is very hard to do I thank the editor!!! 👏 bravo!!
Best supercut I've seen till today. This was so good and heartwarming. Thanks a thousand times for this masterpiece.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. Really appreciate your support. 🤙❤
La la land + Scott Pilgrim mashup was amazing! (One two three four)
The editing is truly breathtaking! The way you cut on action is so masterful.
Made my eyes water with appreciation that I have for the whole artform of cinema.
I loved the la la land music part so much, drama movies are everything great job
Great video! By the way, the last shots with close-ups are the exuberant style of Damien Chazelle, whom I think can be called the central director of the 2010s
i agree! We had a ton of Damien in this supercut! Cant wait for Babylon
Great Editing bro, seriously great, you are not a big production house like screen junkies, but its really great.Thank you for this show.
3:01
the gun cocking sound effects with Henry Cavill getting ready to scrap. Smooth af.
With the Fury Road theme in background this is great.
Thank you! This is great! Especially sequence with dancing! Love lalaland soundtrack and editing is amazing!
Thanks so much!
thank you so much for the inspiration... this is extraordinary...
i needed it so bad ❤
Glad we could help out. Hope everything is ok! 2020 is here, it's time to celebrate and do new things
This is the best one I’ve seen. Amazing!
Thank you so much. Makes making the video all worth it. :)
That music of Mad Max and "what a day, what a lovely day" always get me.
This was AMAZING, such fantastic editing great job
Thank you so much. Really appreciate it.
Actually made me tear up. Such a great job (and such a wonderful era of movies!)
Thank you so much. It was an amazing decade. So many huge films and game changes to the industry.
This was so good! I've seen a lot of these montages but this one is by far the best. Thank you!
this is hands down the best supercut decade of movies i've watched so far.
You are a legend! Thanks so much. It would be great if you could share it out to your friends. either way thanks for checking out the video
Brilliant compilation. Thank you. Absolutely beautiful. Is there a 30 minute supercut or something?
This is why I love movies, thanks for sharing!
I watch this weekly to stay sane
The editing game of this video is just beyond magnificent!
This was so so so so SOOOO well done
Wow thank you so much. We really appreciate it. If you can it would be amazing if you could share it! ❤
Epic. Awesome. Excellent. I just hoped that you could've used more Martin Scorsese film clips, i.e. Hugo, Silence, The Irishman (I'm a fan).
And some more foreign films.
Edit: Silence was there. Missed it.
That was without a doubt the best one I've seen. Thank you sir.
Wow. Thanks so much. Really appreciate it.
Coming back to watch this and seeing Chadwick. 😭💔
Excellent work, best one I've seen so far. Very complete!
Thank you so much.
Such a stunning edit. Thanks for all the work that went into this.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Montages like this remind me how I LOVE movies! (Great video, BTW)
What a decade for movies! Both indies and big budget! Great editing!!
Thank you so much. Appreciate it a lot
Thank You so much for this !!! I Love it so much 💯♥️
i sobbed HARD at the end
Master class editing! You have a future with videos like this in your resume... Keep it up!
Thanks so much. Appreciate it.
don't know who did it first but Screen Junkies did the same kind of video, also with "Brothers in Arms" during the action movies part
It was us by a full week or so. But that's cool. It's a great song
@@movienerds i guess it just proves that this song can fit to any action scene
Brilliant job, I love this
Also so glad u included the impossible! It's so underrated
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it. :) impossible was an amazing movie.
Guys, this is a piece of art. I wish I had thought of this. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you so much. Glad you liked it
Anybody else not want this to end? When it went from bad ass shit to sad shit, it really was a twist that kind of built up until luke said nobodies ever really gone. That got me
Oh what a Decade! What a lovely lovely Decade!
Exactly. What a film that was though. Blew my mind the first time I watched Mad Max Fury Road
This is beautifully made
Kudos to your team ♥️
Subscribed 👊
Thank you so much. Really appreciate it. And thanks for subbing!
This was extremely well put together , thank you soo much! I got slightly emotional inside from looking back to all these movie scenes of the decade.
I was just wondering, I wasn't able to catch "Joker" in your summary of the decade. I know that there were a lot and lot of movies to choose from , but I would've liked it if in the dancing sequence, you would have put Joaquin phoenix dancing on the stairs, cause that was a mythical scene , as well as a pretty big meme for some time. Just a side note.
But either way , what an amazing video ! Ounce again great job , you truly touched me !
You make a great point. We started this in May of this year and only finished it mid December. A lot of the newer movies post May got slightly missed just because of the sheer length and lack of time. Joker should really be in this though. It's a phenomenal film.
You made me tear up you legend.... Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it. It's been a great decade for films. Can't wait for this one
You out runaway over this instant 10/10
if this is not used on this years Oscars.... the action sequence made me jump out a window 5 stories up landing a Superman pose while the building blew up! last moments teared me up.... PHENOM JOB!!!!!
Oh man.. I like your editing style
Them match cuts were so good! I can’t imagine how long this took though XD
It took a little longer than 6 months. It was made during the night as this isn't our full time job. So many hours and many missed sleeps after the kids were in bed. We appreciate you checking it out :) all the love bud
OHHH WHAT A VIDEO!! WHAT A LOVELY VIDEO!!
This was a brilliant video and there has been many amazing films over the past 10 years.
Thank you so much. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. The Last ten years have been amazing. What was your favorite film
Probably inception but the MCU has been a great franchise over the past 10 years. :)
@@jakey007 MCU is a juggernaut. Inception though. Wow what a movie.
I love the cut-in dialog and the sound mix
i didn’t want this to end
So powerful.. this made my day
This is incredible! Great job!
Thanks so much. We really appreciate that
Always disappointing to see how this video doesn't have as many views as it so clearly well deserves
We just really appreciate what its got and getting people like you watching our content
@@movienerds thank you for the response! I appreciate your appreciation towards the attention the video has received
you guys made me cry
Hopefully in the best way possible. It was a great decade of films. ❤🤙
Just 22k views? You deserve more
Thanks so much! The UA-cam gods gave them to Screen Junkies. Haha. We are just glad we had so many stop past here :)
@@movienerds the one that screen junkies made its also good. But small channels need a little bit of help
I’m so glad you made this beautiful video. It inspired me to make my channel and continue wanting to work a film career. I can’t wait to upload my video I am working on a new video and I want it to be similar to yours but It won’t ever be as good as yours. I love your videos!!
That's so awesome! So glad you loved it. Really can't wait to see your creation!! Make sure you send it across or comment it here. Thanks again!
Movie Nerds I just posted it it’s my new video called Power but I hope you enjoy. I had a render issue with the GOTG slo mo clip and re rendered 4 times but it never worked. Other than that I hope you enjoy.
@@movienerdstwo years later and this video still inspires me to this day. I’m graduating highschool in the spring and getting a BA in digital film making. I hope everything is well with you and I hope I can inspire people like this some day too❤
That just kept getting better
That was absolutely incredible
For the record, my film of the decade has to be Fury Road. I’ve thought about it a lot and it’s the one I keep coming back to. Just epic filmmaking that has yet to be surpassed.
God damn! I still can't get over that movie. What eye candy!
Amazing work
Omg thank you so much. Really appreciate you stopping by to check it out. 🤙❤
This was so well done. Now can you do one for television?
This one took 6 months. Do you think you could wait till 2021 ;)
Movie Nerds if it’s this good, then yes.
I would recommend shows and say not to forget animation, but after seeing this I’m sure you’ll know what to include.
Bravo! This works oh so well. Would have loved to see some more non-American films in here though. But that's the most minor critique I could have of this I think.
They should play this at the Oscars.
This was beautiful..I'm speechless ❤ Happy new year to all✨
Happy New year to you too. Thanks for watching it.
@@movienerds 🥰😄😃
Amazing, best video of its kind on youtube! :) Better than Screenjunkies and better than mine :P
Just miss the new year’s scene in Phantom Thread but it’s really really really good
Dang you're right! Thanks for the kind words! Happy New Year!
God damn, this is better than the one by the honest trailer people.
Wow thanks so much! It's crazy how many have come out for the decade. We really appreciate that you liked ours more. We are just glad you got the chance to see it. ❤🤙
now that's the one i was waiting for.
Yessss glad you enjoyed it!
