In this video I will show you that how to grow poinsettia by cuttings. Cuttings should be healthy new stems cut from vigorous plants. Once the new stems have grown at least 4 inches, you can begin taking cuttings. The cuttings should be between 3 to 4 inches long with 2 to 3 mature leaves.Rooting hormones will increase the probability that the cuttings will produce new roots. Carefully insert the hormone-treated base of each cutting into preformed holes in moist. Place the cuttings in a bright location, but not in direct sunlight. Put the pots with cuttings inside plastic bags to maintain humidity and prevent them from wilting. After 3 to 4 weeks, the cuttings should have a well-developed root system. Put them into pots to grow them until you begin inducing them to flower next fall. You can grow them outside .

Thank you Madam for this informative video. I got a poinsettia from nursery three weeks back but now it is all dried. I changed the soggy garden soil in pot and have mixed the same with a little dry soil i ordered online. There are few new leaves in it but after watching ur video, i think i should do what u have shown. What do you suggest.... Please lemme know. Thanks again!

All the leaves of my planta has dried out and there are no leaves left it... If i still go ahead and propagate, will the plant grow as you have mentioned in the video that leaves are important for propagation because it does the photosynthesis for the plant.

I think you should hard prune and propagate it from cutting....for next season...or you can place it in shadow place...i wish it will save

My poinsettia plant was going very well but from a couple of days it's situation is very down. uski leaves latak gayi hai jaise dead ho raha ho. Rainy season hai fir bhi, kya baarish se bachana padega?
