You’ve already been told that they are truly acapella. You can find the gamut of music performed by this vocal band. Serious to romantic to downright silly, but, all performed with the best music talent around! Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!

Home Free is super talented. This was a fun one. They love to be goofy too. Tim (bass) and Chance (with hat, baritone/bass) were cracking me up. They had a leaf blower hit them as the car sped up! They are known for their amazing harmonies. Try Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, Die a Happy Man. Good reaction!😍😃

Yes, welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. Organized in a college dorm in Minnesota in 2000; they won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Two are from Minnesota, one from Georgia, one from Texas and one from Alabama (Current members, Chris left the group in 2016 and was replaced by Chance). This is from their new album, As Seen On TV, in which they re-did all their songs from 10 years ago, when they were on the Sing Off. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. Adam Rupp, one of the original founders of the group, is their beat boxer extraordinaire. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.

Welcome to the fabulous world of Home Free! These guys are all so talented, have a great sense of humor & are very humble. They are known for their tight harmonies, best bass singer with a 5 octave range & world class vocal percussionist. Love this fun version of "life Is A Highway". Home Free has now done this song 3 times. They are making a 10 year anniversary album of all the songs they did on the "Sing Off" that they won in 2013. This was the 2nd song they performed. The guys all sounded great as usual. Love Tim's low bass growl. And Adam Rupp once again stole the show with all his cool sounds. He really has an unreal range.

You should check out one of their originals. "Playing With Fire" is pretty awesome. Tim is the super low bass, Adam is the beatboxer, Chance is the baritone/bass (whose hat flew off in the wind), Rob with beard and glasses is their lower tenor and Austin with long hair and beard is their high tenor.

Most reactors start their journey with "Man of Constant Sorrow" and they have a deep catalog. The latest releases are from their album "As Seen on TV" which is a re-recording of the songs they sang on "The Sing Off" season 4 that they won. Keep away from Mayday until you have seen several videos and are aware of their voices and styles. Austin Brown is the high tenor, Rob Lundquist is the tenor, Chance (Adam Chance) is a baritone, that can also cover bass and has a decent range, Tim is the bass with a 5+ octave range and Adam Rupp is co-founder of the group and the beatboxer (vocal percussionist) that also sings tenor. In older videos you will see Chris Rupp who co-founded the group with his brother Adam and in 2016 he left for a solo career and was replaced with Chance. They all can cover multiple parts and can provide some beatboxing assistance etc. In studio recordings they can layer sounds, but in live performances you can see Adam uses a looper to loop sounds. They sound as good live as their recordings. If you watch some live fan recordings of then in concert, when doing Man of Constant Sorrow they explain the looper and show Chance recording the "Jaw Harp" sound that is then looped.

Well the guys are the first singer is Rob Lundquist (beard and glasses) lead tenor. The guy with the really long hair is Austin Brown sky high tenor. The bass is Tim Foust red shirt. The beatboxer is Adam Rupp. The last guy had the baseball cap is Adam Chance (goes by Chance) is the baritone. But Chance also covers bass when Tim has a lead. This song is off of their current album As Seen On TV is a 10 year anniversary from when they were on The Sing Off. Along with some others they did around that time. I enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

New subscriber. Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas that excel in all music genres. They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Unchained Melody, Listen to the Music, Brother and Stargazer Lilies trilogy: Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies and Mr. ...Their latest releases are Might As Well Be Me, Playing With Fire, Remember My Name, Oh, Pretty Woman, Cruise, Stand By Me and Colder Weather. To switch it up..try Two Country Singers try singing Opera. Adam Chance just wrote the theme song to Ubisoft's new Pirate themed video game, Skull and Bones and Home Free performs it. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!

Home Free and Voice Play were both groups on the Sing Off season 4. They are friends and interact with arrangements and appearances in videos. For a funny video of both groups together, check out "Zombies vs. Hillbillies - Survivor (VoicePlay vs. Home Free)".

  • @nancyholter5646

Make yourself a cheat sheet with their faces and names until you get them cemented in your brain. But don't even try to put what part they cover down because everyone except probably Austin cover more than one 'part'. The closest Austin gets to 'baritone' is a hum at the very bottom of his range (but he does do some beatboxing, so I guess that gives him multiple 'parts', too). But speaking in generalities, Austin is a high tenor, Rob (glasses) is a tenor, Chance (hat) is baritone/bass, Tim (red shirt) is a BASS and Adam is the beatboxer.
And just to confuse you, if you watch videos from before mid-2016, Chance isn't there, Adam's brother Chris Rupp is.
