It's safe to say that everyone of these guys could go solo and have a successful career but man they are awesome together
YET ANOTHER winner by Home Free and Brad also a great reaction dude
Want Choreography? Watch some of their live show clips. I've been to 3 of their concerts in Pittsburgh, PA.. Phenomenal LIVE!!!
Love train, In the Blood, My Church. Trust me, anything Home Free does is outstanding.
Thank you very much for the reaction, and I glad it was one you really enjoyed. I completely agree with the difference between an ordinary cover and a song re-arranged for a vocal group - by definition it has to be a reworking, not just a copy, and Home Free are very good at making a song their own. I look forward to more reactions from you.
600 subscribers and now you have 104,000 subscribers. Lets get you to 110,000. Woohooo. Go Brad. Great reaction as always.
If you go back and watch it again you’ll notice each one is wearing a little bit of blue..a blue shirt, a tie, shoes and I think shoe strings....can’t remember all of them. Try All About That Bass, Butts Medley (for some humor) and My Church.
Blue shirt , tie , bowtie, shoes, and handkerchief
Pocket square, handkerchief in Tim's suit pocket
Please react to Home Free - The Butts Remix and Country Fried Pop Medley.
Rob says right here in their little talk after the video that this is the video (up to this point) that they had to do the most rehearsal and choreography for.
Check out the Hunter Hayes Medley (which is old, but I love it), and if you want a taste of a live show experience from years ago that's also hilarious, check out Home Free's Guilty Pleasures Hilariously Derailed. I also recommend Chance's first video with the group: Try Everything.
I would suggest watching their performances on The Sing Off if you haven't already. Some great performances and a peek at their personalities. I think you qualify as a full-fledged Home Fry!
I am also a big Keith Urban fan and love his version, which is a more bluesy. You noticed the choreography. This was a real treat, and something they don’t do very often. Check out their cover of “Seven Bridges Road”. Oh, and as a fellow Home Fry, I’ve never heard anyone being referred to as a tater tot. That’s a new one! I’ve been a Home Fry since Ben Folds called them that on the Sing Off. It stuck to their fan base, somehow. I was hooked during their first performance on their season. Welcome to Home Free mania!! Loved your reaction!
Great reaction! I love the Motown spin on this. My Church, Take Me Home Country Roads, Elvira ft. the Oak Ridge Boys, How Great Thou Art... so many good ones! Can't wait for more HF!
Anyone who covers Home Free is family to my and I will support happily
It's time you learned their names: The bass is Tim Foust, the beatboxer is Adam Rupp, the tenor (the gorgeous one with the incredible dance moves) is Austin Brown, the baritone (the one you heard sing a solo for the first time) is Adam Chance, and the low tenor (the one with the glasses in the middle) is Rob Lundquist! And, please, react to "Mayday"!
Oh thank you! You are making my quarantine! Thank you for reacting to Home Free! Have you done their Butts Remis and their Countrified Pop Medley. I also like this is how we roll -a parody of the Big Lebowski! Also, women female amen is classic. Blue ain't your color is classic a Motown cover. Thx!!!!!! You got me forever!
Everyone else is giving you fun options... I'm going to recommend something serious with tight harmonies. I recommend two back to back because they are both short. First, do Helplessly Hoping (Crosby, Stills, and Nash cover) followed by In the Blood (John Mayor cover.)
Also, saw some of your Christian music. They have my favorite version of Amazing Grace with Peter Hollens and their very tradional cover of How Great Though Art will leave you with goosebumps!
Thanks for covering my suggestion of Blue Ain't Your Color!
I love Tim's bass just sitting down there a buzzing! ❤
Killing it! Love the Motown fell; CHILLS!!! They know how to SING AND MAKE IT THEIR OWN!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥😍🙏🏽✌🏽
HF meets The Temps!! This is so cool! Loved how they incorporated a patch of blue on all of them. Loved the reaction!!
Regarding the request for any genre... this is a Christmas song, but their harmonies are spectacular (arrangement by Adam Rupp, beatboxer): Do You Hear What I Hear. Also, Auld Lang Syne is phenomenal. Both by Home Free, of course.
Yes, I agree you should do these two songs. Phenomenal indeed 👌👌👌👌
Better than the original, as usual!!
This is the first, and only, one you’ll see with choreography. The guys are definitely not known for their dance moves.
They did actually have a choreographer for Love Train, but it didn't have the type of choreography that this song had.
I saw Shallow mentioned in the comments. The absolute best version I have ever seen is by a lady named Floor Jansen ( Y sound for the J. She's Dutch ) She did a solo version, then did it with Tim Akkerman, who's kind of their version of older rock and charted #1 on the Netherlands' chart in less than 24 hours both times, and that's not even her day job. There's an older guy named Henk Poort that she sings Phantom of the Opera with. Earlier he did 'Your Man' from Josh Turner and flat out sounded like Conway Twitty. I think they only had like 2 weeks to prep for it, too. I had several 'wait, what, how ?!' moments watching them. Show is called Beste Zangers. Worth doing after you get some of your more popular Home Free :) Back story should be in the comments of the videos by now
I heard that they got a shout out from Keith Urban on this one. Same thing from Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins for Hillbilly Bone.
You might want to take a look at their Sing Off performances. The won in season 4 and you can see a little of who they are along with the performances as well.
Home Fry here !!! You play Home Free I watch and subscribe, and I love your reactions. Going back to their performances on the Song Off, which they won in 2013 is always a good place to start your journey. Watch the ones with the judges comments. Enjoy !!
You will love Home Free's "Auld Lang Syne"!! Thanks for doing our boys!!
Hey when I want to hear the song I want to hear the song and I'm usually trying to share it with somebody and I have to listen to you I don't mind you but you know what can you shut up faster so I can hear the song I'm looking for
Oh! Loved the whole presentation with choreography and harmonies! I agree with you - one of my HF favorites!
‘Elvira’ featuring the Oak Ridge Boys is also a pleasure to listen to/watch
I love the way they gave this one a Motown, Temptation vibe. I thought they did a fantastic job. I could tell how much you liked it by your facial expressions. Thank you!
Ok, I know it's nowhere near Christmas. I get it. But man, you simply MUST react to Do You Hear What I Hear by Home Free. It is hands down the BEST arrangement of the song I've ever heard in my life. Arranged by their beatboxer, Adam. I've been singing for 40 years and I can tell by your reactions that you're a true music person, not just a reactor. You will deeply appreciate this song, I promise.
Home free just dropped Brother 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yea!! One of my favorites just because it is so different than anything we get to see them do. Awesome! Thanks.
Dam he feels lit
This guys are great I'm going to suggest a couple songs that don't get requested often What We Ain't Got, and Some Girls Do
I also like snapback and feeling it
LOVE HOMEFREE!!! Also love others like Brad Paisley Waitin on a Woman with Andy Griffith.
They say they can't dance. I beg to differ
I love how defensive you were at the beginning of your video, and how you totally fell in love with it! Yep, Home Free will do that to you!
But you already know, you are a Home Fry by now!
You have made my day, Thak you for this great raction. I have a reaction suggestion. How about reacting to LOVE TRAIN or HOUSE PARTY or AMERICAN JKIDS
I'd like to hear you do a cover of this.
The Butts Remix and Hillbilly Bone
And look at you now, nearly reaching 100 000 subs! Show us the award when you get it :-)
On a different note -- it's not Christmas time but go ahead and at least watch if not react to 'Do You Hear What I Hear?'. Go ahead, you deserve a treat.
I suggest I Can't Outrun You for another solo by Adam Chance.
Do butts remix, its awesome!
I really hope you will do Home Free Thinking Out Loud
Great reaction man! A few reaction requests. Pretty much anything by Chris Stapleton. Also would love to hear you react to Zack Brown Band. Thanks and keep it up!!
I would like to see you react to another a cappella group that's been around for a long time. Rockapella does a lot of their own songs, and I suggest reacting to their original song - "I'm in Luv W U". You may remember them as writing and singing the "Carmen Sandiego" theme song. Thanks for your reactions (and your own music videos). ... Guy
you might enjoy In the Blood, a John Mayer cover
Hope you will do a reaction to Love Train
For Chance try listening to Yours and Can't Out Run You.
Medith Christian and Some Girls Do Sawyer Brown cover!
Yours is fabulous.
Really good song and video! Thanks for the HF
If you want a bit of role reversal from these guys, watch Mayday
As a Keith Urban fan I would suggest Home Free's mash up of Woman Amen/Female (Female is originally Keith Urban's while Woman Amen is originally Dierks Bentley's.)
How about some Voice Play? Queen Medley, Panic at the Disco in 2 parts, Moana Medley, Boyband Medley, Billie Eilish Medley which is a prequel to POD medley, Daddy Sang Base. For some comedy from them their is Road Trip skit they did on The Sing Off Tour.
Please react to Home Free's I Can't Outrun You!
Because your new Tim Foust the bass is a 5 octave super bass. They all are trained singers and the beat boxer can sing but he is an very well trained trumpeter
You should react to their cover of Cam's Mayday....If you like the bass, you'll get a little surprise in that one!!
too see how diverse they are watch Austin Brown do Bring Him Home from Les Miserable and Tim Foust and Peter Holms Misty Mountains
You have to catch up with the suggestions. LOL Wasn't this fun? Part of the draw for these groups is that you can hear the music. It's not covered by instruments. So to speak. And with Home Free, even though they are "covering" a song, they keep it close to the original. Just add enough difference to make it their own. At least that the draw for me with the covers. But those originals! Love them. Thanks! ^_^
Okay you've got to do Chance's lead on Cover Me. He also does lead on Born in the USA where he plays guitar.
Love this video! You need to see their performances when they were on The Sing Off! They’ve picked up a lot f dance moves since then., Keep up the great reactions!! You’ve barely dipped your toes into the HF pool of music, Try “Can’t Stop the Feeling”; “ End of the Road”; “Seven. Bridges Road”; “ God Bless the USA”; “Life is a Highway”! Many more great songs to discover! Nice reaction! ENJOY!!!
Please react to home free's cover of hillbilly bone, awesome song!
Check out Voiceplay - It Ain't Me, Any Way You Want It, Tennessee Whiskey, or Boy Bands In 5 Minutes!!! Are 4 are great videos!!
Do their “Hillybilly Bone”...Great Fun !!! You’ll Love it !!! Please do it !!! 👍🙃
Seven Bridges. Is good. Has Chris Rupp as the baritone. Before Chance joined the group.
Hello Brad. I really appreciate your reactions - at least the ones I've seen so far. Probably not too surprising, I'm a big Home Free fan (oops, I mean Home Fry. How stupid of me). Anyway, I'm certain you've received multiple requests for just about everything they've done so I thought maybe I'd actually request something a little different. Are you familiar with Rascal Flatts? They're also one of my favorite country groups but, unfortunately, they're disbanding this year. I would love to get your take on a few of their tracks - namely, "Skin" (a.k.a. Sarah Beth), "Stand", "I'm Moving On", and "I Won't Let You Go". Specifically, I wish you could do reactions to the official videos rather than live performances. I'm not a fan of live performances. They often tend to ruin the effect of the song for me, plus I think that the official release of a song is the artist's "best foot forward" so to speak. I realize that's a lot to ask and you have an already overwhelming request list that's growing out of control. I apologize if I'm adding to your burden or asking more than I should, but there is so much great music out there and only so many reactors that actually seem to know what they're talking about - you being one of them. So if you can get around to doing any of these it would be fantastic. If not, I completely understand.
At any rate, you're doing a great job and you deserve the growth your channel is getting. Keep it up - I'll keep watching. God bless.
Please react to Mayday and End of the Road. You will see more of what they are capable of!
janet hoffman already reacted to end of the road! It’s on my channel
Mat and Savannah Shaw "All I Ask of You"
I'm a Home Fry, aside this is a favorite of mine. I'll have to check out your other Home Free reactions.
If you're looking for something different and new, try listening to Mad World. The version you should listen to is by Penn Masala. Penn Masala is an a cappella group. You'll like them, trust me.
15k subs omg
Check out Brian Justin Crum version of shallow. He’s amazing! And you should look at home free singing ring of fire and directly follow it with mayday for some awesome vocal comparison of Tim
Or, how about the Asylum Street Spankers? ;)
Home Free meets The Jersey Boys
Love Home Free, keep them coming but here are a couple of suggestions from new areas, Tim McGraw "Humble and Kind"; a beautifully edited video with a worthy message (the version with Oprah's video clips rather than the live performance). Plus Eric Church and his crew, "Chattanooga Lucy" performed live at Red Rocks in Colorado...cool vibe!
Lmfao 🤣 well, I love tater tots!! 🤣
Better than the original.
You missed their reference to the choreography at the end.
React to- To Where You Are by Josh Groban.
Ermygerd is the a whose line shirt?
A "tater-tot"? Isn't that Ron White's kid??
Lose the buds and buy good headphones so you can hear the bass. Buds are lame at bass. Spend a hundred or more; you wont regret it. They have a guy on the crew whose nickname is 'Tater'. You'll be a tot until you react to a few of their older covers while Chris Rupp was part of the group. With his brother Adam (the beatboxer) they are the group's founders. I love it each time you say this better be good 'cause it's one of my favorites and it's as good or better than the original. Even though I like Urban's version as it's the one I heard first, the HF cover is better but in a different vibe kind of way. Urban's version is a lament, whereas HF has made it their own by turning it into a celebration of sadness.
Really enjoying your reactions to Home Free. They have been a favorite of mine since they won their competition. If I may reccomend someone for you, its Davis Phelps. He is a gospel singer and I think you'll be blown away by his vocals. Here is one that I think you should start with.

Earbuds are not headphones. Try headphones one time and hear the difference then do reactions. Want to hear bass get headphones!
