From Rochester N.Y. Lou's hometown, and Charlotte High School in the late 60's
and early 70's, I used to go to dances with Lou singing with his bands, Black Sheep
and Poor Heart. Almost every Friday or Saturday we'd have dances through the CTC
(Charlotte Teen Council) and Lou and those bands played many times.
Whether at Charlotte High, St. Georges on Stutson Street, Holy Cross,
or other churches near 42 School or up and down Lake Avenue. Only a
few years before Lou went off to Rock-N-Roll history. In the 80's I attended
a workshop he did on Christian Songwriting. He did great Christian recording
then also. ✝❤
A message to Lou Gramm (if at all possible): Have to hip you up. YOU ARE AN ICON!!!! YOU ARE ONE IN A QUADRILLION!!!! I wish that could be. You deserve that statement!!!

Surely he was - I read an interview with him about it. But maybe Lou's brother Ben might have played drums with them at times?
@@melelenath No, dear, Lou did it alone. He was a percussionist. What a nice memory... His voice follows me over 28 years. His talent is so unique! Lou is a protean musician!
@@melelenathThe drummer for Black Sheep was Michael Bonafede..they just had a reunion with Lou in Albion..New York last month.😊
@@melelenathLou's brother Ben Grammatico played drums on Lou's solo albums and also with Lou Gramm's All Stars band.
@@lady_in_blue83Wrong..Lou only played percussion for part of the song Headknocker with Foreigner in their earliest days..He started out as a percussionist with Black Sheep but switched to being their lead singer..he couldn't do both at the same time.🙄
