    My daughter is yours and the bulls biggest fan, she’s 12 and is obsessed with basketball.Her birthday is this Friday and is having a full blown bulls theme birthday party. We’ve been watching this series together and her seeing that her favorite basketball player struggles with some of the same things she does gives her hope that everything will be ok. You are inspiring more people than you know. Thank you so much for this series ❤

    Dame and demar are literally like alternate versions of each other they just grew up in two different parts of cali. But the way they carry themselves the way they speak how they play where they come from they are very similar both very unique in their own respect. But I can see how they would become good friends and that’s the beauty of the league.

      no it’s not millionaires whining, try working a regular job, and living a civilians life that’s stressful. Living the dream and not being grateful is no bueno, count your blessings.

    • @TizOnly1
      @TizOnly1 6 місяців тому +5

      @@ballin4real7 half a million people in the US are homeless. They'd probably call "a civilians life" living the dream. You say it's stressful.
      There are problems at every level of life. Understanding each other, and understanding that mental health isn't just based on someone's financial situation, is important.
      More important than even that, kids look up to these players so normalizing caring about mental health is an altogether positive thing.
      Shout out Deebo and Dame for this.

    • @NorfsideC
      @NorfsideC 6 місяців тому

      @ballin4real7 you sound stupid. So imagine if you had people talk about the performance of your job on national tv your 9-5 no matter if you dealing with personal issues or not and you had to be damn near perfect or your next raise was in jeopardy. Just because these folks are living the “dream” doesn’t mean they not people the luxury for us is that we can live our lives however we please while there’s is under a microscope at all times.

    Hello Demar. Your ball game bring me so much joy.
    My partner who is deaf and autistic. I recently brought him into watching the bulls. Omg the emotions he have when you get the ball. 😂😂😂❤❤❤ he is Big kid.
    He don’t understand the game. So he hates it when you foul someone and slow down the game for free throws.
    Omg I fear going to a game and him seeing you. Start reacting to you like a villain wrestler. But he is hyper into all the recent games. Rather your feel like a hero/villain. your bringing life into our home. Thank you.
    This is my todays.
    For My past, I Had a father who drink and beat me a lot. So I understand the weight of the world while struggling mentally.

    All heroes don't wear capes, these two brothas are shedding light on something that isn't talked about enough in the urban community. Mental health is so important and many people don't even know that they are suffering or how to get help. The thing to remember about mental health is that you can't see when your hurting, in comparison to something physical like a bruise or a bump so it's harder to understand when your hurt or sick. However platforms like this that breakdown how things can effect us mentally and shed light on way's to deal with it is such a big help to others dealing with issues. I have subscribed and really enjoyed watching these two superstars go over such an important topic. Legendary!

    Even though I have had a very different life it’s been very difficult and painful at times. Also full of blessings.
    I have had great therapists … one in particular and other spiritual teachers to point me in directions to help me find my own inner peace and so very grateful for that.
    It’s always a work in progress even at 73 :)
    We
    Grew up in the East Bay in the 50s / 60s.
    My Husband and I now live in Lake County.
    We became Kings fans around 2016… perfect timing.
    So excited for this season. So excited you are a Kings player now. I Love the Kings Fox-Sabonis-Monk-Murray-Ellis-Lyles. Go Kings - Light it Up!
    Just started reading your book and been listening to many interviews. What a wide variety of energies.
    And your own podcast is wonderful.

    ❤ I love the transparency of this conversation! Life doesn’t discriminate or know social/economic status. It happens to us all! Keep speaking on it, pouring into one another and taking care of yourselves in all aspects (mentally, emotionally, physically)! You owe it to yourselves! As cliche as it is, “you can’t pour from an empty cup” do things to fill your cup and everybody benefits from it!

    Dr. Of psychology and long term bucks fan here. (Like sickly obsessed with the bucks). I’ve been cyber bullying dame all season and I’m sorry.
    I absolutely love to see this platform. Ive worked with a lot of individuals impacted by suicide or suicidal ideology-many of whom are athletes. Many hid their mental illness due to fear of how others would perceive them.
    When you open up the conversation, you give other people a way out-a catalyst for change/for addressing their health.
    So thanks for doing this. I’ll share some of these with some of my clients
