I've been in a jewelry rut. Seemed to have lost my creativity and would sit in front of all my beads and supplies with no idea what to do. But then I found you! Thanks for giving me a shot in my creative arm - I'm at it again!
Thank you so much Deborah. That's so kind of you to say. I've been in a bit of a rut too so I know what that's like. I find Pinterest is also wonderful for inspiration, and for some reason, 90s TV shows. The jewellery back then was amazing. Phoebe on Friends wears some really interesting pieces.
I really like this necklace. I'm going to try to make it in red, white, and blue for our 4th of July holiday , I find your tutorials so wonderfully inspiring.
Thank yo so much. Yes, you can interchange them if you want. The difference between crimp beads and tubes is basically that they look different. Crimp beads are round and look like little metal seed beads. Crimp tubes are more cylindrical. Crimp beads take up less space, but crimp tubes offer more surface contact with the wire, which makes them a bit more secure. Basically, use crimp beads when they are really visible in the design and tubes when they aren't. You can always cover a crimp tube with a crimp cover. If you use the Magical Crimping Tool, it makes your crimp tubes look like round metal spacer beads. You can see how that works in this video. ua-cam.com/video/xVHTcoYs9rU/v-deo.html
I'm having problems with my wire "fraying", or "splitting", so to speak. How do you fix that? I'm using benecreat 19 strand, 0.38mm. I'm fairly new to working with wires like such. Example, I was trying to string me a necklace using lava beads, of all beads, cause they consist of nothing but holes. Lol! And kept having that problem. Thanks, Carol.
I've not used this brand of wire. I've never had this problem with the Tiger Tail that I use. My suggestion would be to wrap a little piece of tape around the end to stop if coming undone. Try and that let me know if it works.
@@The_Stylish_Maker I thought maybe I'd have to use a needle or something. Strange that it's splitting like that. I'll definitely try the tape and see if that works. Thanks.

I'm getting a 404 error for the supply list link.
Thank you so much for letting me know. I've fixed that now.
