A long overdue update, but I just wanted to let you all know that my cousin Kellen sadly passed away due to internal bleeding complications after her aneurysm. All funds have been directed towards her funeral and her kids. Thank you all so much for donating, it truly helped more than they could say.
Crazy how everyone in this video died for a chance that maybe the rebellion could save the galaxy. Just a chance, none of them got see the victory. That’s true courage.
Kind of reminds me of Ukraine's fight for freedom tbh. No one knows if they will see the end of the war and whether they will get to live in a free country, but knowing that there's no other way and that there's a chance that they will keeps them going. Sad But as long as you have something worth fighting for, it's enough reason to keep going
@@TehFeature You can apply this to countless conflicts all across history. One that comes to mind most prominently is the French resistance in the second world war.
Never thought about how Cassian and Jyn's stories are so parallel with each other. The editing of this video has interwoven them in such a way, it's nothing short of beautiful and bittersweet because of how we know their stories end.
This one hits hard and good. I hope you are doing fine and your cousin is in a better place. Just let me tell you how many good emotions you just brought to me by this amazing work of a UA-cam video. "Just" by cutting all those parts into a video with very epic music playing in the background, you just touched my heart (and I think so many others' as well). So you can't see it but I am really grateful for all that you'ce done. Also in previous uploads. They really give me something in life, that I think I need as hope and inspiration. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤🙏🏿
The point is that Star Wars *is* cared about by the creative team. The point is that HFP is showing you how it is. How everything is tied together, all the paralells.
"But the hero...never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith." - Church
Andor and Rogue one are some of my favorite Star Wars projects. The way they portray war, sacrifice, loss, and love is truly incredible storytelling. Thank you for making this! Absolutely amazing job as always HFP:)
Man, what an incredible video! I always love how much you take advantage of this medium and tell a non-chronological story that still perfectly depicts the original material and its themes. Absolutely nailed everything here.
What an absolute masterclass in both cuts and storytelling. Without a doubt, the best editor on the platform. You my friend are a legend. This is the most beautiful and personal Star Wars story and you have showcased this perfectly. Much love my friend.
I love that all of the youtubers I watch for star wars stuff all are intertwined and are just as appreciative for one another, as I am for them. Excluding the toxic parts of the fandom of course, this fandom really is wonderful in that way.
Rogue One and Andor are so deep intrinsic to the story of Star Wars and deeply connected to the problem of The evil empire on such a realistic level that they server to bolster the fantastical adventure and heroism of Luke Skywalker. He’s their answer, even though none of them know it, they are all fighting for Luke in such a deep narrative way and I love it. It makes you root for Luke so much more. I love Andor and Jyn with all my heart and I love their respective movie and show way more than most other things in Star Wars, and I will never be thankful enough for these stories making me love my favorite character Luke even more. This was great HeroFan!
When i heard that "for the republic" scream from commander thorn somwhere in between i got chills, gave me the feeling that even if the clone wars are long over at the time of the rebellion they didnt die for nothing after all.
What I love most about these stories, Jyn and Cassian's story, is that it isn't about some brave Jedi. It's not about destined heroes or brazen warriors. It's about ordinary people. Crooks, peasants, farmers, metalworkers, engineers, thieves, cheats, zealots, and blasphemers. There is no Jedi coming to save the day. There is no hero coming to rescue them. It is up to them, ordinary people, to stand up for themselves. They have to work together, they have to stand strong, they have to hold the line. They are the bulk of this fight. In all these stories of fabled heroes and champions, we often overlook the simple soldier standing formation in the army. You don't know why they're here, you don't know how they got here or where they came from, yet they are here all the same. A thousand stories unified in a single goal, a unified truth. It's a lot more empowering, in my opinion. They are ordinary people who chose truth over comfort. They sacrificed their lives, their loves, everything. Because the truth is, one person cannot change the world. The world has never worked that way. It takes a group of people to change the world. It takes a unified effort of men, women, children, and all else to make change. That's what these stories were about and it is an empowering message burdened in a brutal and beautiful truth. A truth you captured perfectly in this video, bravo.
This video is a masterpiece. The way you edited together all the character sacrifices at the end followed by Luke blowing up the Death Star was incredible… Goosebumps.
Absolutely beautiful video. Editing, music choice, evertything. Lightsabers, the force, Skywalkers, destiny, redemption. That's what we recognize as Star Wars, and rightly so. But this. This is what star wars is really about when you get down to it. Ordinary people refusing to sit in the darkness and instead standing up to fight evil, no matter the cost. We love Star Wars because of the Skywalker Saga and that story inspires us. But Rogue One and Andor captured the deeper essence and impact of Star Wars in a way that is hard to match.
I really hope that when the second season of Andor comes out, yall give the time you need to make such an epic that is the Andor trilogy. I obviously hope Disney and the executives will realize that while this shouldn't be the norm for every SW show/movie/character appearance, that it holds its weight in a diverse fanbase.
I have been watching fanvids on UA-cam for so long now, and am continually amazed at how far creators have come. It’s one of my favourite pastimes, trying to find the next amazing creation. This though. This is genuinely the very best Star Wars one I’ve seen, and if it’s not the best of all time, it’s certainly joint first with my other favourites. Absolutely incredible. The story you managed to frame with it. The choice of clips and dialogue. The meshing together of the great speeches, the deaths, the sacrifices. This whole video captures the Rebellion perfectly. They aren’t white knight paragons throughout. So many of them are flawed, tragic characters, many trying to redeem themselves and atone for their past. But all willing to sacrifice it all for the galaxy. The editing is sublime throughout, with so many small details, but absolutely love at 11:19 where you hear “For Jedha!” as it shows the destruction of Jedha itself. Perfection. Thank you for this. I can’t even imagine how many times I will watch and share with Star Wars fans. Or to demonstrate just how brilliant Andor and Rogue One are.
You are too kind my friend thank you so much. I haven’t been posting nearly enough as I should be on here, but I know that when I do, I do my best to make sure it counts (as if it’s the last tribute I’ll ever make). The Andor/Rogue One story is by far my all time favorite and I wanted to show why it was through this video, and I’m glad that although it didn’t get much attention (as I expected) it did impact many people that saw this in a very positive way (including you). Rest assured that I’ll continue doing this and making videos. I’ll never stop. Even though they will be less frequent. Again, thank you so much for watching and commenting. I read all of them and this meant a lot! May the Force be with you, always.
I am here to cry - it beautiful, its heartbreaking ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Since Rogue One came out - Cassian and Jyn have become my favorite people and Rogue one - my favorite story in SW. Thank you for capturing this very difficult sad but hopeful story about life anf fight. It was incredeble. Wonderful video
After watching this video, I don’t know why I‘m crying. This video is so touching that it reminds me of real life. I live in China - a cruel and oppressive place. With no doubt I love this land, this is my hometown, but I still cry for all the suffering and misery here... After everything, I still believe that one day I will see the dawn of democracy.
How the hell did I miss this video! It’s freaking amazing! I always love how you tell the narrative in putting character first, then plot second, while using non-chronological footages. You’re a very talented editor, I can tell.
Been watching your vids for years and every single one is a banger. No other editor out there captures the intricacies of these canons or the emotions we all feel wrapped in a bow like you do. I can barely wait for th next one!
Another video I got emotional. I love it, every bit of it. I love Star Wars and this kind of videos that put every story together are the best to realize why this is such an incredible saga. Keep up the good work!
Every time I watch the end of Rogue one and watch them leave for Scarif it breaks my heart knowing they are willingly, knowingly martyring themselves. Cassian tells jyn welcome home and jyn says may the force be with us, and they still go off to die.
The edit was perfect, thank you so much for this vibrant hommage to Andor and Rogue One, a masterpiece section of the Star Wars saga so often underrated
Absolutely fantastic, this is a true masterpiece! I just love that Andor and Jyn’s stories start slow and they are both reluctant to join the cause, but ultimately it’s their choices that gave everyone a fighting chance!
11:30 I was not ready to hear Clone Commander Thorn shouting "For the Republic". It's easy to forget that the clones were just as much victims of the Empire as the people of the galaxy, and their sacrifice cannot be forgotten.
I literally had to pause and break from this TRULY EPIC tribute a few times because..........emotions. Way too many emotions. Incredible work. Thank you! 😲🥺👏👏👏💖💖💖
People willing to sacrifice everything to get the chance of seeing better days we need more of those in this world Andors story is the best in recent Star Wars media wonderful portrayal of it thank you for this!
That last line of Nemik's manifesto is so beautiful. "Try." it goes against one of Yoda's biggest teachings "Do or do not, there is no try" and makes perfect sense that it is the finale to his manifesto.
Agreed. I was recently listening to a podcast where they discussed this contrast. Paraphrasing, one of the hosts expressed his opinion that Yoda’s line was very specifically directed at Luke, for that moment. Luke needed to get out of his head and just act without thinking. Nemik’s words on the other hand are meant to motivate the regular everyday folks who find themselves under the oppression of the Empire. Their only option (aside from to continue being oppressed) is to resist. To struggle. To try. They may not live to see the dawn, but they can have faith that through their struggle and sacrifice that dawn will come. That’s what Nemik meant imo as well.
Someone said that rebellion was violence and violence never is the answer. I agreed that violence isn’t the answer but rather a final question that come after so many unanswered questions. Andor and Jyn needed to question their existence so they need to “try” for the final question while Luke need not to have questions as he is the answer. You need chaos to dismantle rotten order and subsequently need exemplar/heroism to bring chaos into order.
I can’t stop listening to this. The lines “I love him more than anything he could ever do wrong” and “and now I’m dead” only hit harder as I keep rewatching them. You’re already an incredible editor in comparison your other edits that I thought couldn’t be topped. I can’t wait for what you’re working on, keep it up man!
MASTERPIECE!!! Blending together these stories and characters and "The final Ascent" in the background, together with these on the edge cuts... oof. Brilliant!
I literally cry every time I listen to 8:57-9:48. Amazing job HFP. By far one of the most emotional sections of any tribute I’ve ever listened to. (The other sections on my amazing sections list are your vids btw). KEEP IT UP,
Thank you for making this old man cry yet again over Andor. I can't think of any film or series that has had such a profound effect on me. Great video. Well done.
Andor and Rogue One are some of the best things to happen for Star Wars. It heightens the story we all have grown to know so exponentially, providing such a deeper meaning, it’s wonderful.
Rogue one is easily my number 2 in terms of star wars films i love the gritty expansion of the universe outside of the many stories of force wielding heros
I feel sad that this masterpiece is so overlooked. Both the tribute and Andor. The most Star Wars series there is, it's so darn good and noone cares about it.
I can't stop listening to this work of art, I just keep rewinding the last two and a half minutes over an over again so I can listen to "...Perhaps its too late, but I'll tell you this..." "There is one. Way. Out." Star Wars is the greatest story of our time not because it is simply a single saga but because it contains so many so effortlessly and each of them rebounds and recourses melodiously through the strings of eternity. They bounce off one another, they echo one another, they raise one another up and magnify the whole just as Maarva yearned to raise the people of Ferrix up with the fight of her life. From many, one and from one for all. Climb. There really IS only one way out. Save the dream. The only thing keeping back the darkness is our willingness to work together despite our differences. In a capricious world of cynicism and barbarism Star Wars dares to tell us "As long as you have each other, you have hope." Thank you for making this.
This is amazing. I personally find the rebels underrated because whenever people talk about Star Wars they talk about the empire and republic who are great but the rebels are my favorite
Amazing editorial piece with depth of theme and an exquisite understanding of the medium. Great editing is storytelling, and you are a masterful storyteller. Congratulations on a wonderful piece of work and all the best to your cousin in her struggle. May the Force be with you both.
It is outstanding work! Great storytelling, montage, astonishing choice for music with an intense finale(the final ascent's end part waited when you find it ;) Masterpiece
Wow 🤩 what an experience! You put it all together. For me, this is Star Wars, and there wasn’t a single Jedi 🤷♂️ Fantastic work and keep them coming 👏❤
Masterful edit. Gripping, sad, angry, desperate...hopeful. Well done. This encapsulates everything great about Star Wars and Disney needs to keep this tone and grit for it to continue. The world is sliding towards fascism in real life. From Brazil to Eastern Europe to the US. The warning signs couldn't be more bright red. This is a tale for our times
A long overdue update, but I just wanted to let you all know that my cousin Kellen sadly passed away due to internal bleeding complications after her aneurysm. All funds have been directed towards her funeral and her kids. Thank you all so much for donating, it truly helped more than they could say.

Well, yes, but if the people were not real, and the event didn’t actually happen, then is it actual, real courage?
The beginnings of the rebellion has become one of the richest, desperate, morally grey stories written. It's just so so good.
at least when Andor/Gilroy is involved. Not when Filoni puts his fingers on the script.
Rebellions *are*. That's the point. You have to strike first. Otherwise the ruling government will just consume you.

I love Rogue One and Andor so much and this video was absolutely amazing! Thank you for making it, I was in awe the entire time ❤️
Some of the best, if not the best, Star Wars ever. Thank you for this amazing tribute.
I can't stop listening to this work of art, I just keep rewinding the last two and a half minutes over an over again so I can listen to
"...Perhaps its too late, but I'll tell you this..."
"There is one. Way. Out."
Star Wars is the greatest story of our time not because it is simply a single saga but because it contains so many so effortlessly and each of them rebounds and recourses melodiously through the strings of eternity.
In a capricious world of cynicism and barbarism Star Wars dares to tell us "As long as you have each other, you have hope."
Thank you for making this.
This is amazing. I personally find the rebels underrated because whenever people talk about Star Wars they talk about the empire and republic who are great but the rebels are my favorite
This is such an incredible video. The way it's put together is truly masterfully done. Thank you for your work!
This was legit my favorite work of yours honestly and a testament to how good Star Wars can be in general, absolutely worth the wait
Thank you!
Absolutely amazing. Seriously. This is stunning. You should be proud, you’ve made art.
Luthen was so impressed with Andor he was actually honest with him.
The fans: "save star wars, save the dream"
Andor: okay 👌
Amazing editorial piece with depth of theme and an exquisite understanding of the medium. Great editing is storytelling, and you are a masterful storyteller.
Congratulations on a wonderful piece of work and all the best to your cousin in her struggle.
May the Force be with you both.
Thank you so much 🙏
Amazing as always. For the rebellion! For the dream!
This is gonna be hype!!! I’ll always support your amazing work my man 🫡🫡
It is outstanding work!
Great storytelling, montage, astonishing choice for music with an intense finale(the final ascent's end part waited when you find it ;)
Masterpiece
Americans need this sort of determination and focus now more han ever. Fascism is not jsut fictional or historical, its right now.
I wish they would realise. I'm European and watching America make the same mistakes as my ancestors. It's sad.
@BoldOne8760 Hungry, Germany, Italy. Not looking good all around really. Faux populism.
Your edits always deliver man. The song choice of Final Ascent by Hans Zimmer from No Time to Die was used brilliantly here.
Wow 🤩 what an experience! You put it all together. For me, this is Star Wars, and there wasn’t a single Jedi 🤷♂️ Fantastic work and keep them coming 👏❤
Thank you! I definitely will :)
WHAT. AN . INCREDIBLE. EDIT. I can't believe how amazing your editing skills are... this was just remarkable
I went back on your UA-cam channel randomly 2 nights ago. And now this is on my feed. I am so happy
Man I got teary watching that. You’ve outdone yourself!
Fantastic editing as always. Had a tear forming. 🙌🙌
The story is one of the greatest cinema pieces in Star Wars.. bc Skywalker & lightsabers aren’t in it, it won’t get much credit 🙏🏽 master piece story
I cried watching this. Powerfully
Amazing! Simply amazing! This was so inspiring. You have done it again. You have made another masterpiece.😊
Finally had a chance to watch this!!
Such a good tribute! To amazing underrated characters!
Thank you so much for this. Such wonderful storytelling, and such a perfect tribute to it.
Definitely one of the best yet!!!
In a happier universe, Jyn and Cassian are together as the soulmates that they are and not as the star crossed lovers they were 😭
The visual consistency between Andor and Rogue One is incredible
This means a lot, thank you!
Not fascism. Authoritarian Communism.
Nicely edited ...powerful video🔥🔥 Really enjoyed Rogue One and Andor Series
As always, your edits gives me the chills. You are brilliant, my friend.
This is one of the best edits I've ever seen!
Powerful, As always. Well done
dudeee soooo good GOOSEBUMPS
Thanks man! Much love!
