Flashback 3.5 years ago: I was 17 driving around backroads in Kentucky, listening to this with my high school sweet heart in the warm nights of June. Flash forward to now, the band is split up and I don’t even think that girl remembers my name. Time sure does fly.
well shit..I was wondering what happened to these guys. Seemed to be doing well and then nothing. Very disappointing.. Also sorry about your girl..you'll find another!
I miss this song so much. Learned about them the first time a slept over in Kentucky. Talked to my dad for an hour that night. Been to Kentucky 200 times since. He's gone. The hills are still there. I'm still going back. He would have loved this song. He would have loved alot of things. Glad the bands back. Hope they go back to the roots soon. Top tier song song. Dad had alot of stories like these, wish he was around to tell em. Take care.
The night this was filmed at the Judy Drive-In it was cold and rainy. I ended up with double pneumonia that combined with a couple other factors lead me to be in the hospital in a coma with a 20% chance of survival a week or so later. I survived though. Takes more then histoplasmosis, lyme disease and pneumonia to keep a Kentucky boy down. You can't sneak through the fence anymore, we fixed those boards.
Heard this song for the first time yesterday at a car show at the Judy drive in where this video was filmed they played it on the big screen it was pretty cool
We need some new Sundy Best in our lives boys.. been 8 months since you last uploaded.. hope the roads are safe and you're as busy as ever making amazing music.. keep up the hard work.

Kentucky country artists are bringing back traditional country. Just look at Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson.
