@@jdzialak do you enjoy the sl67? This is my first Marshall style amp. I am new to Suhr in general. I purchased my first ever Suhr product a few weeks ago I bought a Suhr Standard Plus. And then I realized I needed a “plexi” style amp. So I said what the heck might as well go hand wired and get a great amp. What do you think of the amp? How long have you owned it?
@@jdzialak Cool! I have a 50watt Plexi similar to that. I am eyeing a PT15. But also eyeing a Ceriatone Yeti. My worry with the PT15 is the amount of headroom, how big it sounds, and can it get chewy and loose with the gain? Does it feel like a Marshall?
Kurt Motsinger You definitely have to play one. It has some good headroom but it doesn’t bark like an old Marshall, it’s a little smoother with more refined mid range
@@jdzialak thats what I was worried about. I like that bark. I will probably do a Ceriatone Yeti one day. Has the Jose Mods. Like that 70s and 80s Marshall crunch. I can't trying anything out though. I don't live anywhere near any dealers. Middle of Illinois is a musical black hole.
I think this is the best sound I’ve ever heard.
Thanks!
Wow that is dialed in. Great tone/excellent playing.
Amazing tone and playing.
Phenomenal!
Killer playing and tone man!
😎 Awesome!!
Hey man, I am about to receive my new SL67 mkii in about a week. I’m so excited, I ordered it with a 212 deep cab with warehouse veteran 30 speakers.
That’s gonna sound great! I love that cab!

@@Gregson12I’ve had it for years. It’s the best true Plexi there is
@@jdzialak that’s what I’ve been told and why I bought it. Are you doing the mkii upgrades? Thanks for the response, I am even more excited :)
@@Gregson12 I only did the bright switch and new master.
Hey Joe, have you tried a Bray amp? If so, how does it compare to these amps?
I have not tried Bray amps
Great tone! How does TAE compares to Suhr RL?
Also have you tried Helix in 4 cable method? Cheers
The TAE is great for controlling the SL67 volume at reasonable level into a speaker cab. I like the Suhr better for recording and IR's
Man; this sounds awesome. how do you like this compared to the PT15?
They're different! This is straight old Plexi

I can’t get mine to sound that high gain or trebly enough
The SL67 does have the loop fx???
No, it was the loop in the Boss TAE Waza.
@@jdzialak Ah ok, perfect...!
