1976 Gibson LP with Suhr Thornbucker Plus pickups, into a Two Notes Captor X with Lynch Mars cab to Logic Pro. Brownout bright switch was flipped a few times, and the guitar was coil split towards the end.

John Suhr built this SE100 Blackout circuit in my 79 Marshall shell. Starts out with gain on 3 then I turn it up to 6. Helix in the loop and into a Bogner 4x12 with V30/ GB combo. Suhr Modern.

Friedman and his products are as phony as him. Mezzabarba is a real high gain tube amp period.
He's a dirtbag, no doubt, but he makes killer amps.

@@jdzialak do you enjoy the sl67? This is my first Marshall style amp. I am new to Suhr in general. I purchased my first ever Suhr product a few weeks ago I bought a Suhr Standard Plus. And then I realized I needed a “plexi” style amp. So I said what the heck might as well go hand wired and get a great amp. What do you think of the amp? How long have you owned it?

Do you find that the 68 brownout has good punch? Currently playing bogner helios 50 and find it too spongy.

@@dirtymike1257 I have one and it’s totally different than my Perplex’d. I dont own the Brownout. Just borrowed it for the demo. The UK 67 is incredible.

Finally got my skill 30(also have the friedman) and tho the smallbox plexi side is good-the mezzabarba is the most versatile amp i've ever played(lotsa 1 trick ponies,)but this amp is.......wow!

Hey man, I heard a video of you playing the Hedgehog. I have a Hedgehog but I’m also interested in the PT15. How would you compare the PT15 with the Hedgehog overdrive sounds? I don’t have the PT15 but it sounds great!

Awesome demos! Is the Sirrom capable of producing modern metal tones? I have amps such as Omega Obsidian, Mezzabarba Mzero, Driftwood Darkest Nightmare, MLC Vogg, Lanney Iommi, A few Fryettes, 5150 etc etc all super high gain stuff. Is it comparable in sound/tone? I really want to gave it a shot but Im scared it wont measure up lol
I also have a Mezzabarba Trinity, and the Sirrom definitely gets that heavy... and maybe even heavier and tighter.

@@jdzialak having a really hard time with deciding over here...I owned a Hot Rod 50 in 2015 and had to sell with my first child being born. Will be buying either one...I'm listening here and it still sounds like I want the Soldano...but I also know that my band also plays CLEAN, too. Soldano doesn't quite rock the "cleans", am I right?

The sirrom is a beast. Not necessarily a Plexi sound to me. But one hell of a amp.
One of my favorite high gain monsters! I didn’t mean to compare it with the two plexi platforms, but I only had it in my possession for a few days, along with the 68 brown out, so I put them all together

Hi! Have you ever tried or know the new Pink Taco v2 combo? How do you think it would compare with the Mezzabarba combo? Which one do you think has the most mids and gain? Im more into modded Van Halen territory
I haven’t played one yet, but I would think the new pink taco v2 would be perfect for Van Halen
Mezzabarba sounds better but not really a fair test being that the Mezzabarba uses a V30 and the Friedman uses a Creamback 65

It’s close but the power amp tone of the Brownout is a little different.
