Creative Flower Photography - Wide Angle Wildflowers Tips And Tricks
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 жов 2021
- Instead of using the oftened favoured macro or telephoto lens for flower photography, Ray Scott shows how using a wide angle lens can yield completely different looking flower photos. Much like in macro photography, Ray uses close focusing techniques to create drama and a dynamic quality to his images. Using a Canon 16mm-35mm f/2.8 L series wide angle lens he is able to gather in a large amount of scenery while highlighting just a few individual flowers. The perspective is unique and encourages the viewer to look around the entire photograph. Though a country setting is preferred for this type of photography, this time Ray finds himself in an urban setting with all of the challenges that are involved with using a wide angle lens with lots of depth of field. It's a photo project worth trying as results can be totally different from what is usually seen in flower photography.

Hey, Ray, really glad to see you more active. I want to ask you something: long, long time ago (some years) you did a tutorial about a glow effect using Photoshop, which was very subtle, very good looking, kinda half strength of an Orton effect... I don't find it, would you be so kind to do a newer one with the same thing? I think you put that effect on an flower image and this tutorial triggered my memory. Thank you very much.
Hey Timotei and thanks for watching. Here's a link for a video that explains adding a glow..ua-cam.com/video/7RNcqek0FEI/v-deo.html
@@VisualArtPhotography Holy s**t! 5 years? We used to be immortals 5 years ago!!! Yeah, that's the one. Thank you very, very much! Very good trick. Think that I still remembered it ;-). Just after this tutorial I looked back again and all I found was that where you used Topaz, which was pretty good too.
