Just a suggestion, when the hosts are looking at photos online, can you put the photo on the screen so the audience can see what they’re talking about?
the talk about the wedding thing omg i feel like yall should have gotten a whole segment for it lmaoo i laughed so much, actually this whole ep is too funny
That surprises me because everytime i see this guy i'm always impressed by what he's wearing. I always thought he had the coolest style@@glorymishra7101😅
In India, you wear red as a bride but other than that as a guest you freaking wear any color even the same color as the bride cause you can never outshine an Indian bride wearing all those Jewel and makeup, and heavy fully embroidered wedding gown and white for funeral and black for nothing I guess
I'm Nigerian and I will never understand this concept of "dress xyz way so you don't outshine the bride at a wedding". We wear custom made dresses to weddings in any colour the bride wants, including white and no one ever outshines a Nigerian bride.
I mean they are idols and our favourites maybe but they are still Korean American and all four of them are Christian so we can't really expect for them to know about cultural diversity within the weddings bc even their friends, I don't think they have diverse cultural friends. also this may come out as racist but it's the truth koreans and americans are a bit self centered.
@@Rjbunnie_ the white dress is not even a Christian thing , if i remember clearly i think a princess or queen one day married in a white dress and it became popular and then became the norm in the west.
Whenever i see " wrap-up " i just feel like crying . Like my friends are leaving after having a fun day🙂. In other news, i laughed so much and enjoyed the episode . Also learned the word "Blouson" exists. The cast is looking really really good. Sending much love to everyone ❤️
The wedding segment was hilarious!! Honestly though the best weddings I have attended are backyard weddings, and one where the bride and groom put on an 80s rock concert with their band (best cousins ever!). The backyard weddings were the most fun where one was a potluck, and the other guests brought their favorite alcohol to be used for the open bar, it was so cheap for everyone to do. LOVE this episode
I’ve been to both Indian weddings and Hindu funerals, in which we were requested to wear bright colors - no white or black. I have to say the wedding photos looked stunning as the colors made the photos so full of life and joy! I’ve thought about enforcing a bright color dress code for my wedding for this reason. I also find that giving more instructions on dress code actually makes it easier for the guest.
In Nigeria, for funeral its black for a younger person but when an older person dies like 70+ we do celebration of life. Its a party, we dress up for that
Can y’all insert the pictures of what the hosts are talking about in future episodes? Like for this episode towards the end they were talking about specific outfits but we have no idea what they’re talking about. Thanks 🙏

I don't know too much about Korean weddings but I have seen some pictures from celebrities' weddings and I was surprised that there were older guys who showed in like jeans and a cardigan. They seem to just show up to drop off money and take that group picture. So it's not even formal/casual for some. And how does that even work? Like how is your relation to the marrying couple defined that you choose jeans & sweater vs dress pants & shirt vs suit & tie?
That’s true, having the destination wedding is worth it. I’m having my wedding in Hawaii and it’s so much cheaper and more inmate with close friends and family!
There are so many themed weddings in Australia 🇦🇺 I seen Gothic, Outback, Hot Air Balloon, 20's era, Tongan with traditional gear, and Celtic hand fasting, fantasy and full Scotish national clan outfits. I'm 70 and I've requested that they wear colours at my funeral.
@10:34. Definitely recomend you majestic resorts punta cana. They specialize in beach weddings and even an entire hotelnis dedicated for honey moons. So good luck. And its affordable. You may spend more on the plane than in the whole wedding package.
Exactly like if you’re casual you’re embarrassed of yourself you have to go all out And it’s so funny when people are bothered about out dressing the couple that can’t happen ever
Actually in the US proper golf attire is required depending on whether it’s a private club or public course. Public golf courses don’t care but private golf courses you have to wear the proper attire. Also, wearing white in a wedding is not ok. You have to wear the proper attire on weddings especially if the invitation asked for it. It also depends on when the wedding is happening seasons and time of day. You can’t wear white after summer (Labor Day) is over especially in the south. A sexy beach attire for men is a loose linen pants and tank top with a panama hat. Business casual and semi-formal are not the same. Business casual doesn’t require a tie or a suit jacket for men but semi-formal does and also depending on the occasion. For women semi-formal is a lot dressier than business casual. There are many protocols on attire depending on the occasion. Nice content.
I think that issue of parents telling you to invite so many people kinda applies in the African culture especially where I come from. Much Love from Uganda in East Africa.
The black funeral veil is called a mourning fascinator where I’m from, and I wore one to my father’s funeral when I was 22. (There’s a backstory behind why but it’s too long to share here!)
So the wedding thing is actually really funny. I wore a red and black wedding gown with a black cape, and somehow my cousin wore an almost IDENTICAL dress. I wasn't bothered by it (she felt so bad) but the way our lives are beginning to look similar is hilarious to me.
@@fauzianalwoga I thought it was funny honestly, I wish I'd gotten a photo. We both have an alternative style and we're both heavier white women married to Asian men, so I think photos would be really funny

Wearing white is not universal. In South Asian and Arab weddings, because textiles, fashion and jewellry are such a massive part of our culture, the bigger the event the more dressed up we get. So at a wedding, if you wear something plain to try and not "outshine the bride", it is extremely disrespectful. Many restaurants in the States don't allow casual attire such as open-toe shoes and shorts. It's actually quite common for higher-end spots.
