    General question about Wacoms: I've been using iPad Pro for years for illustration and light animation. How hard is it (how long would it take a 53 year old like me?) to transition from looking directly at what I'm drawing, to having to look up at a computer screen to see what my hand is doing down on the table? This is one of the reasons I've shied away from investing in the Wacom setup in my studio.

      Good question! At the beginning it took me about a month of using it daily to get really used to it. I think you can absolutely do it though :)

    If you have to pick up your mouse to move to a further part of the monitor then your mouse settings need to be corrected so that you don't have to pick up your mouse.

    • @4TheCreatives
      @4TheCreatives  3 роки тому +1

      I just don’t like working with a mouse. And yes I don’t have all the latest technology on mice but they are so clunky to me and have been hard to design with.

    • @lvpdesign
      @lvpdesign 3 роки тому

      That is understandable. I just see too many using a mouse in a non-ergonomic manner because they neglected to adjust the mouse settings. That can result in carpal tunnel.
      For certain tasks a tablet is far better than a mouse.

    uhh and i have a quesiton
    1.I created the layout's composition for the website for a client then what will they do cuz i don't know web design so we have to send just the templates or we also have to learn web design to make their website i am really confused that why.
    sorry for the silly question.

      Thanks a lot for subscribing! Designing a website is creating the mockup of how it will look. I usually do this in Photoshop. Then you hand this off to a web developer who then takes that and puts it online. You don’t need to know coding 😊

    Thank you very much for this video! I have been watching some of your videos about graphic design and find them to be very encouraging, as a budding entrepreneur. i would actually like to get started in doing newspaper advertisements for local businesses, and want to begin building my portfolio right away. How can I begin with what I have now, which is an HP laptop? Can I start without a Wacom tablet for now? If so, what online alternatives can I use? Thanks.

    • @4TheCreatives

      Oh how cool about newspaper ad designs! You can start without a Wacom, I just strongly dislike using a mouse to design! You could get the Wacom Bamboo which is a much smaller price along with a smaller tablet.

    So the only difference between a Wacom and a tablet is you can use more programs? Because I’ve been thinking about getting one but thinking twice because you have to buy a computer with it. Also sucks for me because I like to see stuff on my screen that I’m drawing on.

    • @4TheCreatives
      @4TheCreatives  Рік тому

      It really depends what type of design or creative work you do. For me I need a computer for all my projects. I couldn’t work only on an iPad. Wacom also has a Cintiq where you can draw on the screen itself: amzn.to/3gEUHHO

      Do you have a Wacom now or you are thinking of getting one? I love the Large because it gives so much space. And I highly recommend using the Wacom for everything to get used to it. It will take a few weeks to really warm up to it, but use it when you are navigating your computer, not just designing and you will get more intuitive quickly.

      This is around $499 which is less than a year’s worth of Adobe CC and it lasts a good six to ten years easily. There are less expensive smaller options too that go down to under $100. I have a smaller version that I use on the go with my laptop.
