So fun fact about the “bean attack” that Crawfuls have - if you don’t vacuum their dentures, they will actually manage to eat the bean and will heal themselves.
Fun fact: The Koopa Corps are never freed from their cage in the speedrun for this game. The optimal and fastest way to beat the game is to let Bowser’s Minions rot in a cage.
@@korhol2065 Shy Guy Squad is the best Brawl Attack for single target damage until Broggy Bonker and maybe the Magikoopas. Because speedruns avoid most random encounters they only really NEED Shy Guy Squad. While Broggy Bonker would be better, it would take too long to get.
Fun Fact: Elephants are unable to jump. However they are excellent swimmers. There has been at least one confirmed report of elephants swimming from a sinking ship at sea and making it all the way to shore.
23:23 "Lord Bowser! You're here! You saved us!" "You're darn right I did! BWAHAHA! Now, watch as I...uh...hold on, I gotta check on my laundry. I'll be back for you guys in a bit!"
But… your castle… it’s still hijacked into a theater! (I’d also question about what clothes he would need since he… usually doesn’t wear them. But I recalled a few moments like in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where he did have some kind of clothing)
Wow, he really is a Dad. Trust me, I'd know from experience. They always seem to have literally the loudest and most violent explosive projectile sneezing that can be heard from *OUTSIDE THE HOUSE OR EVEN AT THE OPPOSITE CORNER OF A CROWDED GROCERY STORE DURING THE THANKSGIVING RUSH!* Don't ask me how I know that. Needless to say I already sneeze pretty loud. But I'm also not a father. So at least for now, I think I'm relatively safe.
Fun fact: the reason the bean attack from the crawful causes it to be dizzy is because he requires his teeth to chew it. If he does the bean attack with his teeth, he eats it and the bean restores 60 hp
"If you can swim, you can jump!" *Flashback to Failboat playing Sonic Colors where he was debating with chat the difference between jumping and swimming*
I remember that lmao Along with the famous quote “What’s your favorite thing to do in animal crossing? Oh I like to go on tinder dates in animal crossing! Oh I like to hang out with my friends! I RUN FROM THE NUKES!”
I've been playing Wizordum EA and the funniest thing, the dude cannot jump since the game is styled around old Wolf 3D-like games But he can absolutely swim all over the place.
Fun fact about the Beehoss enemy that wasn’t mentioned, they actually appear in Dream Team within Somnom Woods. They have a slightly different appearance and have different attacks than Beehoss enemies in this game (probably due to them being native Pi’illo Beehosses instead of Mushroom Kingdom Beehosses)
@glooper3436 The Beehosses from Dream Team are more difficult to fight because most Times you attack them, they sent bees against you. However, if you jump on the bees and eliminate some of them, the remaining ones will get their revenge and attack you.
@@EnharmonicYTThe weird part is Icead and Magmad were Dream World enemies. Did Luigi happen to dream up enemies nearly identical to their real variant, or did they somehow get in his dreams?
6:30 I really appreciate when Emile shares little personal stories like that, it adds a lot to the videos and makes them stand out since not everyone is going to have those stories and not everyone is going to share them.
The remake's background for the Nose Deck actually shows the inside of Bowser's nostrils with light in the distance. Since you can enter this area right after getting through the Pump Works earlier, that could've theoretically counted as an "exit" from Bowser's body... The question is: if the Bros and such exited from THAT way, would they be able to grow back to normal size after being in the open air, or would they remain tiny?
Crazy to think we are halfway done with this series and Emile hasn’t taken a break yet. I think this was also done for Future Connected but still this consistency is something that should be applauded
Fun fact, your olfactory nerves (what makes smell) actually protrude out your nasal passage. They are the only nerves in the human body that are exposed.
23:34 Fun fact: Right after breaking the ship with the sneeze, you can explore a lot of the map with the Bros. You can’t get everything for now, but I can promise you’ll acquire the following on your 2nd trek: -some good gear and items -lots of cash -lots of EXP from fighting overleveled enemies along the way if you’re brave enough -a Special Attack you aren’t supposed to get for a while (which opens up another Cholestroad challenge and is a pretty good attack) -most of another special attack, but not all of it. I even guarantee you can make it all the way to Bowser Castle, but the closest way back to Bowser’s Body is in Dimble Wood. You’re not supposed to do this for a long while, but the fact you can is great, and I’m obligated to do this before ever further progressing after finding out about it as a kid
You can even talk to the trapped Koopas as the bros and they have unique dialogue. It’s really cool how the devs thought that far for something most players wouldn’t see.
Hold on, let me do this thing where I fill in the top of the comment and give everyone else a SPOILER warning for a decade plus old game It’s the Spin Pipe on Plack Beach
A few tidbits: -You can "skip" turns by choosing "flee" and immediately cancelling that action with the L button. -There's an "inside Bowser" variant of the music when you're swimming in Blubble Lake, I'd argue it's the most obscure bit of music in the whole game. -I think you forgot to tick the "tutorial counter" back when you rescued the Shy Guy Squad.
I love the enthusiasm the Koopa Troopas have for Bowser to rescue them. It feels very natural they'd doubt him a little less than some of the other soldier types.
I don’t have pollen allergies, but I know a lot of people that do and I bet it SUCKS. Imagine if human sneezes fired off like literal cannons the way Bowser’s do, that would make spring allergies even more inconvenient
Pollen or not, most of us can heavily relate to Bowser (Including me.) because allergies suck and oh boy my sneezes go nonstop if I don’t take my allergy medicine right away. Bowser is my favorite Mario character after Yoshi and the fact he’s so relatable here is a nice change, I’m really loving this playthrough so much, what a blast!!! 🔥💕 #chuggaaconroy #BowserInsideStory
I'm glad you showed off what happens if the mario bros go to the same location as Bowser, that was something I was curious way back and tried that myself in the final dungeon. I wasn't sure if we'd get like a secret funny dialogue where Bowser would tell the bros to leave him alone he's busy finding the Star Cures or if he wants to be the one to beat up Fawful and not them.
Like. Seriously. "Oh in a world that's used to phone games this feels so complex" Emile this game came out in 2009, kids weren't used to phone games and even beyond that the controls were stiff and awkward. I had trouble doing this game as a kid.
You're not the only one. I've been calling it Blubble Lake for years myself until I realized it while watching SullyPwnz's playthrough of this game. My mind was definitely blown that day.
I am eagerly awaiting the day chugga gets to the fawful express battle in this LP cuz just before he's crusher bowser says "D'oh" after getting tripped by a rock and I'm praying he says "I missed" keep the gag alive!
I remember people saying the pollen minigame is hard, but unlike the Wiggler Carrot bullshit, I beat it in my first try...from forcibly trying way too damn hard to not lose the first try.
I won't lie for the longest while I completely forgot her name was Starlow and was calling her Chippy up until Paper Jam dropped like a soaked towel onto a mattress.
An interesting thing about the Beehoss, or more specifically the bees they summon to attack, have an interesting gimmick if you shell too early. They’ll actually stall their attack in that case and wait for you to unshell before attacking. It’s still possible to shell afterward but it depends on the timing. I knew this from playing alongside you, though I got a bit carried away and…beat the game minus some challenges. Off the top of my head only one other enemy does it, and it’s not too far away. And it’s probably more harsh with the gimmick than the bees
That second ennemy you're mentionning is suuuper mean in the original. I've been doing a no pants & no shell challenge medal run and they're the only Game Overs i had so far (i'm in the start of the last area.)
That other enemy you are referring to is the Sniffle Thwomp, if I am correct. Also, I remember those trash can enemies from the Junker fight (I can’t remember their exact name at the moment) also did a similar thing when Mario and Luigi counter with their hammers
The Nose Deck. THE FRICKIN' NOSE DECK. This is my least favorite part of BIS easily! Every playthrough I struggle with this more so than the carrot minigame or a certain battle we have yet to reach. I don't know what it is, but sliding on the touchscreen to make Mario & Luigi move feels so janky whereas any other instance of sliding on the the touchscreen (like Shy Guy Squad) works just fine. It makes the 2nd part in particular such a pain trying to hit the membrane while also avoiding the pollen raining down. I could at least get good at the carrot minigame after struggling with it, but not here! It's always so frustrating for me! It also doesn't help that you have to play through it multiple times in succession. We'll absolutely be seeing it again in the next upload... Also yes, I too called this area "Bubble" Lake for the longest time.
This minigame is the worst one in the series for me. It controls like ass and is sooo easy to get hit with how the pollen falls. It is the one minigame I take into consideration when thinking of replying this game.
I wonder if Chuggaa will ever realize that the reason Jump Helmet only gives him four is because when you land on the edge, you're sent forward so much, it'll shorten your amount of bounces.... Eh. I'm sure someone told him that in a previous video.
actually oddly enough this only applies to the cholesteroad minigame, it is random in actual battles. that said you do have to land in the center every time for excellents.
@@waitressroyal actually, if you look, he does launch a little farther when he lands on the edge. The cholesteroad challenge just exagerates it further
I am so, so glad you showed off that koopa corps dialog! It's such a good attention to detail. Even if it makes no sense that Bowser isn't still there when you leave. I wanted to see it the day it went up, but the bomb cyclone from last month took out my internet for several days, so I couldn't watch any UA-cam videos
00:46 My native tongue is German, so we just call it "Migraine Lake" similarly to the Japanese. It being a plant, I think it's kind of strange that the Behoss does not actually have a weakness against fire. 07:36 Save the Dracula accent for the next game in the series. The Inside Bowser-version of the Blubble Lake underwater track might just be the most remote piece of music in this game. Most players will never hear it. 15:45 You can at least see the bros' front facing swimming sprites when they exit a pipe in the pumpworks. 16:38 I can't believe you've missed the block on that islet like three times now. 21:06 yeahhh... 19:44 Never stay near the top in this minigame. If there's a swollen membrane up top, it's better to wait for it to relocate sometimes. 24:12 They have some more dialogue if you talk to them a second time. Also: Nooo, don't leave yet! You really should've hopped up on that ledge to the left there!
If you lose your stylus, the carrot minigame becomes infinitely harder- doing it with a thumb or index finger does NOT work for it, and that's likely why so many people traded in the game there.
One feature I'm slightly disappointed you didn't show off: enemies would react to the bros' hammer and Bowser's shell starting with the Beehoss. If you shell too early against the bee it would wait for you to get up before attacking. Doesn't really matter here since you will still have time to react but it does get more strict with later enemies.
Here’s my two cents on the carrot minigame: the reason why I found it so hard is that I didn’t know that Bowser’s mouth flashing as he ate was a tell for what carrot chunk would contain the carrot-destroying-thing Therefore I was tapping around, praying that I would magically beat the minigame I didn’t figure out that tell until watching this series lol
I've been dealing with allergies recently (where I live it's spring now), and today I had the most satisfying sneeze ever, I don't know how to describe it but I barely made any noise and my nose felt completely relieved
Ironically, The Tower of Yukki is in my top 25 least favorite bosses in the Mario RPGs only because of that nose deck mini-game before the gaint Bowser fight with the tower
17:31 I think the reason so many people can't do the carrot minigame stems from a difference in play style. When I first played this game it took me at least 10 tries to beat it, and then more than one try for a couple of playthroughs. I thought it was the hardest thing ever. I was playing by looking at the carrot pieces (since that was the play area) and using my peripheral to see Bowser's mouth when he ate the super enzyme. One random playthrough I decided to look at Bowser until I saw the flash, then quickly looked down at the carrot pieces. I have never struggled with the minigame again and have almost done a run where I never even let the enzyme get to yellow. I think this is where a lot of struggle comes from. I don't know how you play the minigame but it seemed like you were looking at Bowser until you saw the flash then you looked at the carrot pieces, like I started doing. I think people who struggle with this game probably use the technique I used to do. It doesn't seem like it would make that much of a difference but, in my experience, it's the difference between the game being beyond trivial and utterly impossible.
I love how the koopas are Bowser's hype squad in this game because of course the anthro turtles would see the biggest, baddest turtle they know as the coolest guy around.
Gonna be honest, kind of like it being mistranslated as Blubble Lake. It gives it a more unique feeling, and when combined with how a previous area was cavity related, makes me think of soda fizz for some reason.
Random Fun Fact I just found out: In the area in the Flab Zone where you learn the spin jump, there are invisible blocks above the staring area. (like in the little indent next to the right pipe) Once you hit these 5 hidden blocks, you can jump into the mucus membrane and move right to find a hidden area with two block with the rightmost one having "EXP Socks." So thank you Chugga, for giving me the idea to replay this game and find things I didn't even know existed!
Seeing Emile's enthusiasm for Crawful reminds me of something for my Mario tabletop game. First, yes Mario tabletop exists, no it's not official. Second, I have my players participating in a Glitzville wrestling convention with new wrestlers to interact with or fight. One of them is a Crawful, named "'Filthy' Zamboni." It's a suit with a pair of eyes in the mouty and he's meant to be creepy. One of the few characters my party hasn't encountered yet.
@@gregorysgetaway6168 I don't know what you're talking about. And if I did do what you say I did, that was then. This is now. I'm politely asking you not to start any arguments or rekindle any flame wars.
It's always nice to see Bowser and his minions having a close relationship, it shows that Bowser sees them as a extended family than mindless mooks. Also Chugga you should look into "Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass" since it's Earthbound inspired and it has a rather interesting story if you look deeper into it. Might be a fun game to let's play one day.
*Blubble Lake* Goomther: Man, what's taking Bowser so long? He said he was going to find a way to smash through these rocks. Shawn: No idea. I'm sure he'll think of something. Goomther: Hey, Kathie! Are you in there!? Kathie: Goomther, is that you!? Goother: It is. Shawn's here as well. Shawn: Don't worry guys, Lord Bowser will save you. Kathie: I hope so. We've been stuck in this cage for so long. Koopa: Hey, is it just me, or is that a large wooden ship heading straight for us? Kathie: Huh? *suddenly, a ship crashes through the rocks and makes a bridge in the process* Shawn: ... What just happened? Bowser: *emerges from the rubble and shakes his head* And that's how King Bowser destroys a rock wall. Kathie: Wowie! That was amazing! Bowser: Yeah, I know. Time to get you guys out of there. *smashes the cage open* Kathie: We're free! Goomther: Kathie, it's good to see you again. Kathie: You too, Goomther. Nice to see Shawn's alright as well. Shawn: Don't mention it. Goomther: What happened when your corp was captured? Kathie: It all so sudden, we barely had time to react. All I know was one second the castle was being sieged, the next second, I'm being hauled off in a cage with my squad. Shawn: Same thing happened to us. Kathie: I hope everyone at the castle is alright. Goomther: Um, about that. The minions at Bowser's Castle are under mind control. Fawful has an iron grip on them. Kathie: *gasps* Oh no! Say, did you guys see Bonnie in there? She and her squad were last seen inside the castle. Shawn: Haven't seen her. Fawful turned the castle into a theater where he forced Bowser into a cage fight. Goomther: He won, of course, but then Fawful made him fat in order to steal the princess from inside of him. Kathie: ... What? Goomther: The less you know, the better. Kathie: Whatever. Point is, Fawful is going to pay for what he's done. My squad and I will show him why Koopas reign supreme! KOO-RAH! Kathie's squad: KOO-RAH! Bowser: That's the spirit! Now, onwards to Dimble Wood. Kathie: At your service, my lord. Goomther: To Dimble Wood. Shawn: SHOO-RAH! Starlow's Log Day 22: After Bowser left for Dimble Wood, Mario and Luigi headed back inside his body to chase after the first sage holding the Star Cure. Unfortunately, it slipped away behind a barrier we can't get past. Meanwhile, Bowser was busy helping someone with back problems, strange. Once he was done with that, he tried to find a way to save his Koopa Corp on the other side of a rock wall. With a little help from the bros. stimulating his nostrils, he sneezed so hard that he propelled a ship into the rocks and destroyed them. Man, Bowser really is the strongest beast around.
and now, your newsticker. Hopefully it's something about the tasty yum of the fawful delights that Fawful cooked up. Ok I just want some really well described food that'll leave me hungry haha
Kathie: Oh, my lord! Bowser: What is it? Kathie: Right before you and the others got up after you broke that wall down, the Mario Bros passed by, looking at us as if we were animals in a zoo! It was humiliating! Bowser: Crud… they’re getting closer to the first Star Cure! Kathie: The what? Shawn: It’s a long story. We’ll explain more on the way to Dimble Wood. Bowser: We must hurry before the Mario Bros get there before us and take what’s ours. Move out, troops! Bowser’s minions: Yes, sir!
News ticker 21 Announcer globin: Attention all globin. The honorary globin commited themselves to something fierce. *crickets or something similar that can be found in the guts* Starlow: Huh. Must not be as popular. At least we don't need to explain THAT to Bowser. Bowser: You say something, Chippy? Starlow: No! Kathie: Who's "Chippy?" Goomther and Shawn: Don't ask. Announcer globin: I'll let the battle globin explain. Battle Globin: Using the memories of the combatants, we recreated their heavy battles for them to fight even stronger! Today, they fought the worm that ruined Bowser's arms! Meanwhile... Gooby: *sob* Marx: Oh, don't be a drama queen. We are being relied on... (Internally freaking out. May the power of my beliefs protect me.) ???: What's this? Rookies running an army? Everyone: Who? Kapsci: Kapsci, you *censored* slackers. Second drill sergent of Bowser's koopa army! Marx: First off, that's a lie. Captain Goomba gave you the ability to study directly under the four captains like Gooby. Second, about half of us are still either teens or immature and gasp at swears. Not Gooby and I, but I digress. Gooby: Kapsci! Never thought I'd run into you so fast. Kapsci: We just got released by Master Bowser. I had plans to run into the four captains, but I found you first. Gooby: We need some hands. They tasked us to find the remaining lost troops as they figure out everything with the castle. Kapsci: Got it, Madame Gooby. *Audible gasps* Gooby: Excuse me, I told you to drop that title. I transitioned last year. Kapsci: But your attitude never changed... Marx: Wait. You were trans this entire time? Gooby: Yeah. I was kinda- Marx: Most shy guys know how it feels. We're insecure and wear a mask for a reason, you know. Kapsci: Now, ONWARDS TO ADVENTURE! Gooby: Oh no. The catch phrase.
whenever you get the chance, please go to Toad Town as Bowser, not only will you get funny dialogue, but you cab show off that Toad Town has a inside bowser that not a lot of people get the chance to listen since Bowser really has no reason to be in toad town
It's not that we didn't read tutorials on the carrot minigame. FAR from it! It's that even when the enzyme flashed, it was hard to track it in time. And yet it's still NOTHING compared to the abomination that is the nose minigame!😫
This area was HELL for me, IDK why but, for some reason, I had the worst time with this mini game cuz I apparently suck at stylus based stuff (except the giant fights, those were fine for me)

Oh boy, the Nose Deck. This one is difficult to score. Here's what I came up with: each membrane that, uh... swells up is initially worth 4000 points, and that value decreases by 1000 each time that membrane is not hit in time, with the minimum value being 1000. Beyond that, 5000 points are awarded for each heart remaining, and there is also a time bonus. I will time out how long the winning attempt lasts (unless Chuggaa cuts it in some way, in which case I'll have to compromise), and then test it against a base time that varies depending on the visit. If the time taken was less than the base time, 10 points are awarded for each .01 second left until the base time. The base time is 60 seconds for Visit 1, and 90 seconds for Visit 2, and Chuggaa's time was roughly 43.32 for Visit 1 (excluding the tutorials) and 1:08.98 for Visit 2. And finally, just like other minigames, the tutorials are not considered in the final score. With all that blathering out of the way, Chuggaa scored 32,680 points for Visit 1 and 44,020 for Visit 2. *Footnotes* 8:36 The Beehoss is burned here, meaning Bowser used his flame attack. I don't know what kind of Action Command is required to cause a Burn, so I'll just assume Chuggaa got an Excellent. 11:01 That counts as two Counter Hits, since both Crawfuls got damaged. 14:57 Oh boy, here we go again. Bowser still has full HP, Crawfuls outspeed him, both of their attacks can yield Counter Hits, and they never use their bean move first since it is supposed to heal them. So Chuggaa got at least one Counter Hit in that fight. Also, I have to count that as one enemy since Crawfuls can fight alone. I'll do this for every occurrence of this we see. 26:20 No you won't! You unlocked a new challenge with that attack. *This Episode's Score:* 107,300 pts. *Total Score So Far:* 1,212,810 pts.
Fun Fact: Beehosses return in Dream Team and are weak to fire as they’re wood based enemies. In the 3DS version of this game, they are also weak to fire. Another rare good change cus young me was always salty that a wooden enemy wasn’t weak to fire.
6:49 Wow, I totally remembered that too as it was a rare insight into Emile’s life. And that was a video from well over FOUR years ago. It’s crazy how our memory works
now that we've done all the side minigames, it's time to officially start the Mario & Luigi Patented "Search around places you've already been for bits of the mcguffin to progress the plot" part of the game
Bowser travelling with his military and using them for his special attacks makes me wish we saw more of them as a militia fighting together in 3D action. Closest I can think of is his using the Koopa Troopa’s in Skylanders Superchargers
Blubble Lake, alongside Toad Town, Cavi Cape, and being underwater in the lake has _very_ little, to almost no gameplay interactions with the bros inside of Bowser as compared to the other areas in the game. Because of this, you’ll be hearing very less of the “inside Bowser” variants of each of these area themes listed. Though, it’s quite nice that the devs has considered that the players would travel to these areas as Bowser, and listen to their inside Bowser variants as the bros whenever they want to, regardless of no story, or gameplay elements needed for the players to switch over to the Mario bros for a minigame, or area within Bowser to traverse through within these overworld areas. The sneezing minigame made me bring this up, as you’d only hear the inside Bowser variant of Blubble Lake’s theme play for roughly 3-5 seconds before initiating the sneezing minigame, and never hear it again within regular story-progressing gameplay when you get booted out after completing it. (Toad Town, Cavi Cape, and under the lake you never get to hear jack squat of for their inside Bowser variants. However, in the remake version, Cavi Cape’s inside Bowser variant of its theme plays briefly when waking up Bowser, as originally in the original version, it plays Road Leading to the Secret/Trash Pit’s theme instead for your remainder of time there.) I’m pretty sure most people won’t care about any of this of what I just said, but I just wanted to point out such a highly unnoticed detail that gets missed by most players of either version of M&L:BIS.
Chugga was spot on about why I in particular got stuck on the carrot minigame. As a child I would only read like a portion of the dialogue in most of my ds games so I just thought that the enzymes were completely random. What's even sadder is that when I was stuck on that carrot part in my main save file, out of boredom I would just create a new game with the second save file and play through the game up until the carrot part over and over again. During one of those short repeat playthroughs I for whatever reason decided to actually read through the tutorial and I felt so ashamed at myself when I realized how simple it was and moreso for how many tutorials it took for me to understand.
12:13 ok this bean is actually the crowlful healing himself, he'd eat the bean for an 80 hp replenish if he still had his teeth, however he just makes himself dizzy when he tries eat it with no teeth
This is the part of the game that I start getting fuzzy on, I don't think I ever got much farther than this in any of my previous playthroughs. Excited to see what comes next! And hopefully I can catch up soon and play alongside all this new progress.

Does shy guy squad do more damage or is it because it’s faster than goomba storm?
@@korhol2065 Shy Guy Squad is the best Brawl Attack for single target damage until Broggy Bonker and maybe the Magikoopas. Because speedruns avoid most random encounters they only really NEED Shy Guy Squad. While Broggy Bonker would be better, it would take too long to get.

Fun Fact: Elephants are unable to jump. However they are excellent swimmers. There has been at least one confirmed report of elephants swimming from a sinking ship at sea and making it all the way to shore.

"Lord Bowser! You're here! You saved us!"
"You're darn right I did!
And now here is where Bowser becomes the most relatable character in the game, sneezing at even the tiniest bit of pollen
You mean he wasn't already relatable being mad about the tutorials and being forced to eat the Giga Carrot?
Wow, he really is a Dad.
Trust me, I'd know from experience. They always seem to have literally the loudest and most violent explosive projectile sneezing that can be heard from *OUTSIDE THE HOUSE OR EVEN AT THE OPPOSITE CORNER OF A CROWDED GROCERY STORE DURING THE THANKSGIVING RUSH!*
Don't ask me how I know that.
"If you can swim, you can jump!"
*Flashback to Failboat playing Sonic Colors where he was debating with chat the difference between jumping and swimming*
I remember that lmao
Along with the famous quote
“What’s your favorite thing to do in animal crossing? Oh I like to go on tinder dates in animal crossing! Oh I like to hang out with my friends! I RUN FROM THE NUKES!”

Ah, regional variations.
@glooper3436 The Beehosses from Dream Team are more difficult to fight because most Times you attack them, they sent bees against you. However, if you jump on the bees and eliminate some of them, the remaining ones will get their revenge and attack you.
It’s cool when old enemies reappear with new attacks. Now in Brothership there’s an enemy that looks similar to a Treevil but is metallic instead.
@@prof.laytonfan764Brothership also has Sharkbone from SS, and Capnap, Icead, and Magmad from DT
@@EnharmonicYTThe weird part is Icead and Magmad were Dream World enemies. Did Luigi happen to dream up enemies nearly identical to their real variant, or did they somehow get in his dreams?
"I always read it as bubble lake" but we already know you dont read in games
I know Emile tends to sometimes not read things or misread in video games but man I feel that burned.
Iv started suspecting he might be somewhat dyslexic just something Ive noticed
"I'm going to ruin your life"
...by pointing out something you would know if you took a second to read the text? It's so funny.
6:30 I really appreciate when Emile shares little personal stories like that, it adds a lot to the videos and makes them stand out since not everyone is going to have those stories and not everyone is going to share them.
"This isn't the zoo, Go Away!" Bowser's minions, Charming as ever aren't they
The remake's background for the Nose Deck actually shows the inside of Bowser's nostrils with light in the distance. Since you can enter this area right after getting through the Pump Works earlier, that could've theoretically counted as an "exit" from Bowser's body...
The question is: if the Bros and such exited from THAT way, would they be able to grow back to normal size after being in the open air, or would they remain tiny?
And if they stay tiny, cold they go back into bowser through a pipe to be even smaller?
At this rate, might as well call them the Ant-Men...
Inhaled enemies grow back to normal size when they exit his mouth, so probably same thing applies if they'd leave through his nose
Crazy to think we are halfway done with this series and Emile hasn’t taken a break yet. I think this was also done for Future Connected but still this consistency is something that should be applauded
I mean it's the 50th LP, so I think he's going all out
It makes me eager to see what's next. I'm thinking Planet Robobot.

Fun fact, your olfactory nerves (what makes smell) actually protrude out your nasal passage. They are the only nerves in the human body that are exposed.
Gotta say, Bowser's little doggy-paddle when he's underwater is adorable
23:34 Fun fact: Right after breaking the ship with the sneeze, you can explore a lot of the map with the Bros. You can’t get everything for now, but I can promise you’ll acquire the following on your 2nd trek:
-some good gear and items
-lots of cash
-lots of EXP from fighting overleveled enemies along the way if you’re brave enough
-a Special Attack you aren’t supposed to get for a while (which opens up another Cholestroad challenge and is a pretty good attack)
-most of another special attack, but not all of it.
My bad. Chugga actually showed it off.
Which attack?
Hold on, let me do this thing where I fill in the top of the comment and give everyone else a SPOILER warning for a decade plus old game
It’s the Spin Pipe on Plack Beach
Saying this because I genuinely didn't think to do this when I played...that special attack that you can get is the Spin Pipe right?
A few tidbits:
-You can "skip" turns by choosing "flee" and immediately cancelling that action with the L button.
-There's an "inside Bowser" variant of the music when you're swimming in Blubble Lake, I'd argue it's the most obscure bit of music in the whole game.
-I think you forgot to tick the "tutorial counter" back when you rescued the Shy Guy Squad.
0:33 …Honestly, Emile, you’re not alone on that because I also thought it was called “Bubble Lake” for a long time too.
I have hayfever and can confirm pollen allergies suck. Without antihistamine my nose is running like a tap and my eyes itch like crazy.
I have both pollen allergies and am allergic to dust. My sneezes are very loud as well... I've scared a lot of people with them accidentally

The nose deck tutorial is literally fine, it even keeps your progress which the carrot minigame doesn't.
Like. Seriously. "Oh in a world that's used to phone games this feels so complex" Emile this game came out in 2009, kids weren't used to phone games and even beyond that the controls were stiff and awkward. I had trouble doing this game as a kid.
14:36 if you pay attention to bowser on the lvl up screen, it sounds like he's saying "I rule!"
He does, he also says it when you get an excellent with a brawl attack
Saying "it's human instinct" about Bowser swimming but not jumping is pretty funny, considering Bowser is definitely not human.
The fact that we’re at the halfway mark of the game already is so crazy to me.
Wow, really? I seem to remember this game being REALLY back heavy - especially with the other part of the collection quests.
I'm sorry to hear about what happened to one of your friends... I hope they're in a better place
You're not the only one. I've been calling it Blubble Lake for years myself until I realized it while watching SullyPwnz's playthrough of this game. My mind was definitely blown that day.

@ Bruh. Every group involved made their peace. Cease your trolling.
That other enemy you are referring to is the Sniffle Thwomp, if I am correct. Also, I remember those trash can enemies from the Junker fight (I can’t remember their exact name at the moment) also did a similar thing when Mario and Luigi counter with their hammers
The Koopas are so enthusiastic about seeing their King again it's kind of adorable. XD
Inhaling the Crawfuls' teeth prevents them from eacting the beans they attempt to consume and the beans let them heal.
Even worse than the Fawful Express giant battle?
I wonder if Chuggaa will ever realize that the reason Jump Helmet only gives him four is because when you land on the edge, you're sent forward so much, it'll shorten your amount of bounces....
Eh. I'm sure someone told him that in a previous video.
Been told numerous times indeed
@@silverfool64 Should have known. Chuggaa's community is good at telling him stuff
Speedrunners say the number of bounces is completely random. Chugga himself commented this on one of the last videos.
actually oddly enough this only applies to the cholesteroad minigame, it is random in actual battles. that said you do have to land in the center every time for excellents.
“If you can swim you can jump”
Fish: “am I a joke to you?”
The Crawful’s using a bean to heal themselves? That only works if they still have teeth. If they don’t have teeth, they hit themselves.
Fawflopper…. Missed opportunity to call it the Grass-hawful
I just noticed Bowser says "I RULE!" when he levels up. I thought he was just making a random Bowser noise for like 15 years
If you lose your stylus, the carrot minigame becomes infinitely harder- doing it with a thumb or index finger does NOT work for it, and that's likely why so many people traded in the game there.
In today’s episode of “Chugga Needs Glasses” he didn’t see the first L in blubble.
There's also dialogue for encountering the trapped shy Guy Squad as Mario and Luigi if you skipped over them, I think.
BLUBBLE LAKE?! Nooooooooooooooooooooo! We've been duped!
Honestly, allergies are the worst, especially during the Spring.
That's where I feel the absolute worst
Here’s my two cents on the carrot minigame: the reason why I found it so hard is that I didn’t know that Bowser’s mouth flashing as he ate was a tell for what carrot chunk would contain the carrot-destroying-thing
Therefore I was tapping around, praying that I would magically beat the minigame
I didn’t figure out that tell until watching this series lol
10:28 I was not expecting Chuggaa to make a Life is Strange reference ever, but I’m here for it.
"The Tower of Yukki?"
I thought it was called the Tower of Yikk...
I never noticed that the crawful’s laugh when there’s multiple and one hits you 😂
It's a close call for the best ennemy in the game personally
It's actually kind of wholesome how many of Bowser's minions actually look up to him.
The sound bite for bowser sneezing is so hilarious I can't believe I don't remember that as a kid

Gonna be honest, kind of like it being mistranslated as Blubble Lake. It gives it a more unique feeling, and when combined with how a previous area was cavity related, makes me think of soda fizz for some reason.
I doubt it's a mistranslation, rather an artistic choice
My heart is filled with so much happy it begs to be spelled out like Fawful. 13:15
Glad I could help you Chugga and all those that never knew.
Random Fun Fact I just found out: In the area in the Flab Zone where you learn the spin jump, there are invisible blocks above the staring area. (like in the little indent next to the right pipe) Once you hit these 5 hidden blocks, you can jump into the mucus membrane and move right to find a hidden area with two block with the rightmost one having "EXP Socks."
So thank you Chugga, for giving me the idea to replay this game and find things I didn't even know existed!

The train fight is worse, i still had trouble 15 years later
@silverfool64 Ugh... Don't remind me of that fight.😓
Oh absolutely. Nose deck is way worse.
This area was HELL for me, IDK why but, for some reason, I had the worst time with this mini game cuz I apparently suck at stylus based stuff (except the giant fights, those were fine for me)
Finnaly bowser gets some recognition bout time our poor lil cinnamon bun got some love

*Footnotes*
8:36 The Beehoss is burned here, meaning Bowser used his flame attack.
You secretly Albert Einstein because no way anyone can do that
Fun Fact: Beehosses return in Dream Team and are weak to fire as they’re wood based enemies.
Simultaneously my favorite and least favorite part of each game.
10:30- genuinely surprised to hear a Life is Strange reference out of you lol
By skipping the shy-guys you can also get unique dialog with Mario and luigi, if I recall
However, in the remake version, Cavi Cape’s inside Bowser variant of its theme plays briefly when waking up Bowser, as originally in the original version, it plays Road Leading to the Secret/Trash Pit’s theme instead for your remainder of time there.)
I’m pretty sure most people won’t care about any of this of what I just said, but I just wanted to point out such a highly unnoticed detail that gets missed by most players of either version of M&L:BIS.
SCREW YOU GAME/CHUGGA!! THIS AREA WILL FOREVER BE KNOWN AS BUBBLE LAKE IN MY MIND AND I REFUSE TO THINK OTHERWISE!!!
I didn’t know who was talking at first. but when you said “hey everyone it’s a chuggaaconroy” it cleared up my confusion instantly!
17:40 so many tutorials that my favorite Bowser dismay sound had to be used to express that
18:29 Also, ik this is the default mini game theme for this game, but that music feels pretty ill-fitting for this one
Roulette fail count: Still 8
It is sweet when people compliment you when you don't know it!
This is the part of the game that I start getting fuzzy on, I don't think I ever got much farther than this in any of my previous playthroughs. Excited to see what comes next! And hopefully I can catch up soon and play alongside all this new progress.

Okay, I didn't even know that was a thing that could happen. Thanks for sharing this little seen scene.
A little saddened you didn’t go to Broque Madame as the Bros.! There’s some neat things there.
