So much airsoft butthurt. Love you 500 round realistic magazines guys. You feel the pain in paintball, have real mag capacities, and have a real motivation to not get hit (a smack as opposed to a little tap from an airsoft round). Obviously AS rounds hurt, but after 20 feet its really nothing.
I like both sports in indoor airsoft is a bit better i gotta say even with like 500 round mags and stuff but outdoor paintball is the best and cannot be beaten

I now I wonder if this model has been discontinued and/or succeeded by another such as the PTR since this video was made in 2014 and it is now 2018. You have made me curious and peaked my interest.
If you could make tippx pistol mags standard size but carry more rounds (similar to the 2011 handgun) that would be dope. Maybe have it fit an extra 4-5 rounds.
I have an idea for a better way to play the normal paintball game: Basically combing the technologies and equipment of laser tag with the equipment of paintball. Like put sensors all over a paintball players body, maybe part of their paintball armor, maybe just put as a layer over their paintball armor. Whenever a paintball hits the player the sensors detect it and audible sirens go off for a few seconds and mini led strobe lights bulbs or strips on the armor or sensors go off when detected of a hit. The mini led strobe lights on the armor go off for 30 seconds and end after the 30 seconds is up. After each hit of a player, that player who was hit has 30 seconds before they can be hit again. No hit on that player counts until the 30 seconds is up, which will be apparent once the led lights stop flashing on that paintballer's body. Also, the player who was hit can't shoot his paintball gun until the 30 seconds is up. The gun will be hooked up to a lock that is attached to the gun whenever he gets a confirmed hit by the sensors and is unlocked after the 30 seconds is up. The player who was hit can move around and so can all other players, but that player can't have a confirmed hit on themselves until the 30 seconds is up. Once the 30 seconds is up a player from the enemy team can hit them again and it can be a confirmed hit. And the hit player can also shoot his paintball gun again. And the process will repeat until 5 hits. The little strobe lights on the armor will flash like yellow or orange or blue, one of those colors, whichever is best to see, for the first few hits. Once a player gets hit five times that player is out. On the fifth hit, the strobe lights light up as red on their armor, which is on their body. The red flashing led strips or bulbs of lights would indicate that they are out and not part of the current game. Just like in laser tag there would be a computer that the sensors would send this data to once a player is out . They have to run and get off the paintball field in 30 seconds or a minute at most or their team automatically loses. They would also have to press a button or walk through sensors (whichever one the games referees choose) within those 30 seconds or a minute at the home station to prove they are off the field.Their vests of armor or sensors linked to the computer would recognize them uniquely just like in a laser tag game and they would be the only person able to press the button or walk through the sensors. There should be a referee monitoring watching the game and computer to make sure it is being played right. Blu3raNger88 I have to dispute this. My group purchased 3 M17's and we have found the full auto at near peak chrono (270-280fps) to chop pretty bad. If the M17 magazines were quicker to disassemble and clean it wouldn't be so bad, but taking them apart and cleaning them is a big problem at a field. M17 overall though is definitely nice, it just would benefit having some kind of mechanic eye system.

Airsoft still being the bread with butter of mil-sim, exist a kind of bullet able of shoot paint (in real firearms, is called simunition) but that is expensive as fuck, and just for military practice, airsoft is the actual future of mil-sim.
Aswell, rubber bullets are used like non-lethal cartridge to stop criminals, is dangerous. For military practice, simunition works better, but is expensive as fuck (rubber is expensive too) In the other hand, airsoft is better than paintball for hobby, both are not expensive in a way, but airsoft have a lot more of pros than paintball.
Why don't they just make conversion kits for real guns to chamber a special round with a paintball tip. Will make for some serious fun. Of course would be more dangerous and would hurt a hell of a lot more. But if you make special Personal Protective Equipment for your whole head and neck (and balls) then would make it safe. I just really hate paintballs, they are inaccurate and slow. But if you had a paintball round that was in the shape of a bullet and would make rotation a good thing and you can actually hit people reliably from more than 50 yards unlike a paintball. I think the whole experience would be alot more intense and realistic.

Looked cool, intimidated the hell out of the newbies but did not work very well. The First Strike rounds are far more effective for very accurate shots.
i wanted to get a phenom and upgrade it like this eventually but do you have to buy all these seperate mag wells for dmags, box mag? obviously for zeta mag but will dmag magwell hold the box mag aswell?
Dmagwell isn't compatible with the current box mag because it uses the old T68 style neck to feed. I'd bet the farm the drum magazine coming out with the new Dmag will be spec'ed for that magwell since Rap4 is abandoning the old style magazines.

I like airsoft dont get me wrong, but I dont deal with nearly as many cheaters in paintball. The fact that it hurts to get hit by and you're being smacked with "paint" it helps get rid of cheaters.

Thought it was cheap but it was great. Cool to hear Tippman is legit even if my nostalgic gun is still mentioned, no matter what version.

The point I was making was that theres more options for airsoft and the games are different. Milsim for an example in comparison to paint ball. They should not cut the filming before showing the clean insides after using the box mag. I am not saying that it did break but now we will never fully know if it did.
I'm surprised he called the paint that broke from waist high bad paint then the ones that bounce better. any real paintballer mag or speed ball will know that if it drops waist high no force and breaks that's good paint. bounces with no breaks are bad because it requires more force to hit and less likely to break on impact.

if you put markers out that didnt have the lock bolts you should be recalling the original assembly and sending everybody that bought your marker a lock bolt for free.
Zach - technology will be advanced from model to model. Each released version has more features and functions then the previous. Like iphone - from 1 to 7 or the PS1, now it is 4. Upgrade and replacement is part of the product life cycle - otherwise no new products will ever be made.

I have a 468 with a lock bolt and I love it and I just got and m17 as my first milsig it would be amazing if u could make a lock bolt for the m17
the m17 doesnt need one... the heatcore is so gently on paint it can shoot 18bps without eyes and have no chops...

Money is a big factor, and they already do use rounds with paint tips but are used for training for some outfits.

2-3 chopped balls in the chamber with the clear chamber piece... not bad, precisely that is the function, tell you when the balls chop.

That paint was fine, it was breaking most of the time and if you had hard paint its most likely to bounce off your opponent

I'm surprised he called the paint that broke from waist high bad paint then the ones that bounce better. any real paintballer mag or speed ball will know that if it drops waist high no force and breaks that's good paint. bounces with no breaks are bad because it requires more force to hit and less likely to break on impact.

if you put markers out that didnt have the lock bolts you should be recalling the original assembly and sending everybody that bought your marker a lock bolt for free.
Zach - technology will be advanced from model to model. Each released version has more features and functions then the previous. Like iphone - from 1 to 7 or the PS1, now it is 4. Upgrade and replacement is part of the product life cycle - otherwise no new products will ever be made.
