55 Días en Pekín

Not sure about you but I'm sometimes fed up with the amount of uploads these songs get, it's seriously too many videos for just a couple of songs. But that's just me complaining, and here I am making one
Anyway, this is a bit of a remake to my first subtitled video, in August 2020 (which is unlisted), but I also made it to test my translation skills
The Spanish version is part of a series of other multilingual versions of a song in the opening credits of the American movie with the same name. Where the setting takes place in real world events in the turn-of-the-20th century Beijing in the midst of the anti-imperial Boxer Rebellion. A total of 8 nations took up arms against the Boxers, called the 8 Nation Alliance:
Great Britain
Germany
Italy
US
Russia
Japan
France
& Austria-Hungary
(Spain wasn't involved)
in order to protect their interests and exploitation of the waning Qing Dynasty and it's citizens. Which was at first neutral but secretly supported the rebellion via Dowager Cixi (without her, the empire could've modernized sooner). The rebellion lasted for 3 years (from 1899-1901) and the Qing Dynasty was forced to sign the Boxer Protocol, afterwards the empire soon collapsed 10 years later
