It would be wise to install the license plate bracket prior to installing the bull bar. This allows you room for your tools and reattaching the skid plate with ease.
Ok thank you for the reply! I have another quick question, I actually just received my bull bar in the mail today, did you guys change the bull bar up a little bit since this video?....the skid plate on mine looks a little different than it does in this video and also the mounting brackets coming off the bull bar itself and the welds (2:50 in this video is what I'm talking about) are completely different on mine! I just want to make sure I bought an authentic Aries Bull Bar, I have same exact pickup in this video only min is a 2013.....hope to hear back soon! thanks

My bull bar came with support brackets. Are these necessary? I think the mounting brackets are strong enough to hold the bar.
Yes, we wouldn't include them if they weren't.

Can you install the separate bracket for the license plate after the bull bar us on the pickup, or will you have to take it back off??
