    Hey, thanks a lot for this great video. On the last section were you able arrive on time to visit Nachi Taisha temple? Do you think this section can be done in less than 7 hours?

    One of the best kumano vids ive seen yet. Just trying to budget for the trip: how much did the 5 day experience cost you roughly? Thanks!

    great vid. I'm hitting the trail pretty soon ! Anything you would do differently with regards to gear when hiking the trail during the summer? What about mosquitos?

      Hey thanks! Definitely bring bug spray or lotion (can buy in town at 7/11, family mart, etc.) when you head out. Make sure you have lots of water each day. We packed fairly light and efficient - mostly synthetic athletic fabrics and not much cotton. I found it useful to have a small towel to wipe the sweat away. Keep an eye out for the leeches, can bring a small bag of salt just in case :). Other than that, just enjoy the sights and sounds.

    Thank you very much for sharing this video. Very interesting and helpful info. Overall, how's the various accomodation places that you stayed in? Tia :)

      Each of the accommodations were quite different. You have to pre-book all of them prior to your trip. Many of them include traditional meals served at particular times and some were just a single family's homestay, so coordinating arrival/departure times and meals was a necessity.

    loved the hike video, is it an easy trail? Is it a clear path and is it safe for a person to go alone, like no wild animals?

      @BrianAndMiaTravel  11 місяців тому +1

      Thanks! Everyone’s definition of easy varies. The moss covered rocks were a bit slippery in places and there is a decent amount of elevation change on the route we took so might be considered moderate or hard depending on your abilities. We encountered no wild animals other than birds and bugs.
