Yes, I always wear compression socks whenever I fly because lower legs seem to swell due to prolonged sitting. Always good to stretch and walk around in the plane if possible. Also, hydrate well and get healthy before any trips. Agree with mom Olga.

Palitaw should be made of sticky rice flour (grind malagkit rice) so that it will float when it's already cooked.

That was Yummy, we make that during day of the dead feast, but different shape it was flat and round, we cook in cooking pot with boiling water, then wait for palitaw to float meaning palitaw was cooked then we put muscovado sugar mixed with roasted sesame seeds, 👍🏻❤🇵🇭🚣🏻♀️🏝

"Palitao" means "float." That dessert is called palitao, because once it is cooked, it floats. If it doesn't float, that means it's not cooked yet. Your palitao looks nice, but I'm not sure it was completely cooked when you took it out of the boiling water. OR, it is possible it was cooked but did not float because you added a filling of cheese. The filling of cheese was a nice touch; and I'm curious how it must have tasted. BUT did you add SUGAR to coconut shreds and roasted sesame seeds? Because, if you did not, that palitao would not have any taste at all. I saw sesame seeds and coconut shreds but I'm not sure I saw sugar added. Just wondering.

I noticed yesterday. They're heavy, but they popped. Because I followed a Filipino woman's recipe. And I followed it step by step.
@@kat_tiger Excellent then, Kate. :) That's a new palitao twist that you've done. I'm trying to imagine the flavor. It must taste good. Try adding butter to it and/or condensed milk before serving. I imagine it would taste even better. :)
