The biggest troll move in this Remix is the long Lockstep part.
The transition to Lockstep annoyed me so much. This was one of the hardest perfects to get.
The funny thing is that the transition to lockstep is just visual, you keep the same exact beat with the stylus.
The hard thing is that unknownly even if you press, it doesn´t press (or just simplely, almost everytime at the lockstep transition, you are smashed by the right guy, at least I have superb)
sonic2batt That is false. The transition between games cancels taps for whatever reason, so even if you are just a tiny bit early, you will get chopped in the face.
@@CansteamHeadcannon I always hated that. It had to be a loading reason because there's no other reason to stop detecting taps for that split second.

Riley Setser I honestly think there's something wrong with that part. Your rhythm can be SPOT ON but you still get smacked by the guy on the right for some reason.

i usually pre-play lockstep outside the touchscreen, then if i feel lockstep is coming, is start hitting the touchscreen
@King Dedede Easier said than done. I know how you're supposed to do it, but for some reason it's being extremely picky with the timing. I didn't have that much trouble with any of the other remixes, but this one always messed up my perfect runs for some reason.
I will always love that clever Lockstep transition.

@Paddy Cakes! It's because of Space Soccer, that's why Remix 6 (aka DS Space Remix) has things based on Soccer for some reason
My Review:
If you were to ask me what one of my favourite Remixes is, one of them is Remix 6. If you asked me what one of my least favourite levels is, I might also tell you Remix 6. I really like this level, but it loves weird Lockstep transitions more than it loves the player. Your taps don't register if you do it too early, so you basically need to know when they're coming before you can do good. Still, the level and song are pretty good, and I think the clever transitions are funny and creative for what they are. Especially when they throw you the ball and cut to Lockstep before you can even kick it.

I don't know why, but the Space Soccer to Lockstep transition feels off in this remix. When I did the Perfect Challenge, I felt like I had to tap a little later than usual in order to be on the beat. Kinda like the "All About You" in the Remix 10 Love Rap.
Both parts annoyed me either way lol.
That's actually true. If you're on beat, you'll tap before the transition ends, so you have to _wait until the transition ends._

I had to count the amount of kicks the you have to do after counting and then two quick kicks on that last one just to get in the transition smoothly. I'm so glad that Remix 10's lockstep transition was SO much better
Yeah after like 10 attempts I figured out that you have to tap kinda late a little bit and honestly I was done with that crap. Had to take a break cause I literally choked on the last Lockstep transitions

the best part of this remix is being able to spam the kick at the beginning so you can just hear "KICKCIKCICKCIKCICKCIKCICKCICKCICKICKKCIKCICKCICK"

i think this is more a soccer remix. i mean, karate joe kick a ball instead of bomb and the rockers are using a soccer uniform
to me, its more of a "modern" remix, hence the more advanced headgear on the switch-steppers, the more hip outfits on the rockers, karate man and the space atheletes having a stylish hair do

The only thing I'm not sure about is the Stepswitchers basically just wearing really cool headgear -- it's the only non-soccer thing in the remix

Im glad Im seeing people talk about the input issue between the Space Soccer and Lockstep transitions because this is the only Remix in this game I have yet to hit a Perfect on even when I know my tapping is on beat he keeps getting smacked somewhere and making me lose it and it's driving me insane

This remix is my favorite remix in the game and the Lockstep transition made me think this remix was somewhat clever. I never really found trouble in this one.

I just realized the reason why there is a second space soccer guy there is to help you get into the right rhythm for the lockstep transition. You have to time yourself to how he’s kicking and the transition will be smooth

1:43 I kept ending after the offbeat because I didn’t want any extra inputs on karate man because it flowed better and then I was like “what if I keep going after the offbeat” and the one where it continued after the offbeat was the one where I actually did it and I was like “😎”
It literally sounds like this remix uses the music soundfont from WarioWare: Touched, and I absolutely love that. WarioWare: Touched and Rhythm Heaven are my two favorite games on the DS.
I don’t think the lockstep transitions are that bad, especially considering that space soccer and lockstep have the same rhythm

This wasn't such a hard stage to perfect, but the dead input space between Space Soccer and Lockstep was the perfect killer on so many attempts.

Space Soccer is good, Lockstep is fabulous, but Karate Man's DS variant is kinda tough...
Only two segments of Rockers is terrible though...AND THEY ONLY APPEAR AFTER THE SPACE SOCCER -> LOCKSTEP TRANSITION TEASES.

This remix can go to Rhythm Hell. The transitions between space soccer and lockstep - UGH! Even when I knew they were coming, they would still throw me off. And while the karate man segments were a little bit easier, I would always mess up the first 'punch-kick!'
Agreed with the karate man part but tbh I found the space soccer and lockstep transitions easy, keep the EXACT same rhythm. It remains the same.
