Hard to believe how many good tips are in this video even if you don't want to go all the way to Dark & Moody! Increase saturation of just one color? Check. Make clip B&W except leave color in one object? Check. Fix skin tone? Check. Add a whatever LUT? Check. Track? Check. And, yes, Dark & Moody? Check. Two great examples from start to finish? Check. Two more examples with node descriptions? Check. This is one of the most important videos on DaVinci Resolve I've seen and one I'll refer to often. Thanks for making & sharing this tutorial video! 💥x5
what I can say, you not only taught dark and moody, also how we can enhance certain color also, never used parallel nodes, so you taught me that as well, then gradient to give focus on certain area, superb tutorial, Thanks a lot.
You just changed my life. I wasted a lot of time on watching youtube and blah blah to get this look and you totally nailed it bhai, Thank you so much for the help, subscribed now and will watch all of your videos, they were to the point and very valuable. Thanks again.
10/10 plus.. Of all the Resolve tutorials and content creators making both paid and free training on YT I am awarding you "The Master Craftsman 2023/24".. The simplicity, clericity and particular approach taken covers beginners to advanced and you have a unique gift .. I can only beg you for more and am concerned you have stopped recently.. What can I/ we do to inspire you?
Thank you Michael. Your comment alone is encouragement enough. 😀. I’ve been focusing on another channel of mine and lost sight of this one. This encourages me to come back and continue here as well.
Thank you so much for the great tip... one thing to correct though...if you wanna reduce the intensity of the film look, you will need to compound two nodes that is one with cineon n the one with film look and then reduce the intensity of it. That works really well. Thanks.❤ amazing content anyway.
A great tutorial. I really learnt a lot. But can you get rid of the music. It's really hard to listen to what you are saying and is quite unnecessary 😂

Thanks for the info! I'll give that a try! :)
That's for the tutorial. How do you get colour wheels, scope and curves visible at the same time?
You can access it by clicking the three dots near the top of that panel
that is a great technique ! thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
This is really cool. Thank you!
You're very welcome!
I'd rather say that this is Selective colour tutorial. Not Dark and Moody. Sorry, I felt that.

@@coffeebeanstudio thx 💕
You're colour god❤❤
hahaa.. thank you! :)
Where is the "MAGIC MASK"? I don't see it
Studio only feature.
The only misleading this in this video is the Thumbnail used. That image was supposed to be part of an example.
Does anyone know where i can get free raw footage
Go to Blackmagic camera samples page. They have some free footage to download.
🤩
wow
