Yes. Its pretty much a Z06 without the 505hp LS7 motor. Instead it has the 430hp LS3 motor from the base model Corvette coupe.

Bought a new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, and it’s a great car! Huge power, fantastic handling, and with the magnetic ride control, the car goes from track stiff to cruising smooth in an instant. My wife even asks when we can go for drives in the Grand Sport, and that rarely happens with my NSX.

      Thats awsome ! I wanted a c7 but I found a c6 GS for a good deal that I couldn’t pass up.

I love my 2011 C6 GS Convertible, 6 speed manual transmission. So much fun to drive mild or wild. Whatever mood you are in it has the driving style for you. Gas mileage is not too bad either. 25MPG is definitely achievable on the HWY.

This comment sure didn’t age well. Here we are in almost May 2022 and C6 prices have done nothing but go up. Same for C5’s. Forget C7’s they are over $45K for anything half decent.

@AlphaDino Notice the car was optioned at over $70k. It probably has the magnetic selective ride control. Also, the suspension used on the zr1.

this car is simply amazing because of what you get for your money, and this still has the supercar badge for $60,000. I am not proud that its an american car but GM this is the one good thing your making, everything else is dead

Most important, the Vette is a Chevy and can be serviced at any Chevy dealership. There is nothing exotic, nothing a Chevy mechanic can't handle.

YES, same body, same ZO6 brakes, same suspension and I think a less HP but better, more reliable motor. LS3 is indestructible. The 7.0 liter that went into the ZO6 was known to have valve spring problems. I love my GS.

Other than the unattractive Jetstream Metallic paint, this car is a looker. The optional performance dual-mode exhaust makes all the difference with this car, as well as any Vette. The soundtrack is more than worth the $1,195 you have to pay for it.

Especially when you pull the fuse so the damper doors are open all the time. Then it sounds great everywhere on the RPM band.

Do we have to pay to get Jessi into a car now?
    How much?
The Corvette is a great car for its price range but the interior is utter crap.
Realistically, I would look at a Boxster Spyder or GT-R at the fully loaded price range or get a Camaro SS or Mustang 5.0 for half the price if you want to keep it American.
Why would you buy this car fully loaded, it is only few thousand less than a Z06 at that point.

  • @SupramanTRD

I can not beleive they have left this junk rental car interior in this car for so long.
It must make companies laugh. You can get a better interior in a Hyundai Soanata then this.
It's great that the exterior looks good and the car is fast, but this shit interior is a joke and that must be laughed upon by every company in this biz!

  • @Erich2142

this is not a super car, interior is rubbish and ugly, its all plasticy and flimsy..... a super car has to be fast, comfortable weather while speeding or not, good quality interior, this car doesnt match any of that except for the performance

I have owned Corvettes and I currently own an AMG S class, but of course I have no idea what I am talking about...
It is universally agreed upon that the interior of the Corvette is garbage.
Even the Camaro interior is better.
I think that sends a red flag that you don't know what you are talking about.
It is not like Corvettes are rare or anything and there is no way to ever find one and see what the interior is like. Christ there must be like 10 alone in my neighborhood.
