I added a FOBO TPMS on both my 22 RTL and the wife’s 23 S2S. Makes tire checking much easier. Definitely worth the money. I would get the S toS model. It rides much better and smoother than my RTL. That is what I’m saving money for when it is time to upgrade my RTL. Have fun, Ride safe.

Ive got a '17 rt ltd and I absolutely love it!! Very comfortable, stable and cool..its in metallic Pearl white with Chrome wheels, exhaust and clips. I did have a bug honda 1300 but I found that too top heavy for me and so many near misses with cars

We wanted the Apple car play ( which we are still waiting for) and the bigger touch display. The difference at our dealer between the RT Limited and the Sea to Sky wasn’t that much. So we got the 2024 Sea to Sky. Only 500km so far but we love it. Lots of trips planned and we are still picking locations to visit. Great honest upload. 👍
My first trike was a Harley with a Roadmaster kit. Took me about 1000 miles to get used to it after riding almost 50 years on two wheels. Now I have a Spyder and wasn't too impressed with it until I put about 300 miles on it. Now I really like it after about 3000 miles. Already dreaming about getting an RT Limited when I win the lottery :)
Very good upload. Subbing and liking! I also been ridding all my life even as a kid, before I had a license. Had a stroke about 7 years ago which took away my balance!!! Boo Hiss!! Thought my ridding days were over!! 😡 then I found the Spyder!!! I’m back in the wind!!!
I have a 2022 RT ltd chrome model & we obsoletely love it to bits, but once the white stuff appears it’s not going anywhere. You have to sign BRP paperwork stating you will not ride it in cooler weather as there are certain parts underneath the bike which have optimal temperature’s otherwise it will void your warranty! I've purchased 2 new Spyders, first one was a 2020 RTL, second one is a 2022 RTL, and that clause about voiding warranty if driven in cold weather was not shown in either of my purchase documents. Perhaps that clause is for Canadian dealers, maybe in certain provinces, I don't know, but I've never heard of it, and due to the mild winters for the last couple of years, I've been able to ride year round, but I've never ridden on snow.
Hi Chris, greetings from a fellow western New Yorker. Since you mentioned you would likely be looking at a 2023 or earlier 'new' Spyder, I would suggest you check out the largest Spyder dealer in the Can-Am network, the dealer is Motomember, which has several dealerships, but the largest is in Purcellville VA. It's about 370 miles from the Falls. They have a bunch of 2023's RT Ltd's still in stock, discounted by $6k to $7k. You will have a tough time finding 2023 models in NY State. I bought my current Spyder from them last August and rode it home, registered it the next day at the DMV, and sales tax is paid to the DMV when you register it. I'm just suggesting this to you, to save you money. One other thing, I wouldn't ever ride the Spyder on any snow at all, for 2 reasons, the Kenda tires are not designed for mud or snow at all, they will slip and slide, and the second reason is to avoid any salt or road grit and sledge that would not be easy to clean off the belt and spindles and up underneath all the tupperware on the Spyder. If you do ride in inclement weather, be careful & safe, and try to clean the crud out as best you can. 😁👍👍

Great video. I've been looking at the RT's as well. Been on two wheels all my life as well. I might add the Sea-toSky to my collection. Doing some further research. I need to understand the maintenance intervals, Can Am network and reliability. Thanks for sharing.
I got a 3 inch cable to hook to my phone while it is mounted in my quadlock, that way you can still use the display. It doesnt work well with BRP Go but with the 2024 it would be great. I wish I could upgrade my 2022 to carplay in the display instead of buying a whole new unit or use my Iphone. Hah, I took my top trunk off for my commuting. I only use it when my wife is on the back, I think it looks sportier and I dont usually need the extra cargo space for commuting.

I would say any spyder rtl 2020+ would work, even a used one, they all pretty much the same units. I bought my 21 used and im loving it.

I’ll be selling my KTM 890 Adventure at a steep loss. Depreciation on a lot of these motorized toys is unfortunate.
You rarely see newer used ones come up for sale. Tons of newer used Harleys out there.
