I'm a firm believer that everyone should get the Farmable tiles. They're super useful. I always blueprint the crops I use on them, this way I can put them down quickly at workshops for "plant crops" dailies and weeklies without messing with my CAMPs.
Yeah, I haven't moved my main camp since I was below level 100 but if I did move I'd probably use the tiles and plant on top of a building. Too many enemies just pop up and destroy the crops.
@@SequentialGamerFallout I'm the same, but I have 5 CAMP slots. One of which, is designed to be mobile. What I've noticed with that mobile CAMP is that there are sweet spots. I have this one spot, right in the middle of the Cranberry Bog, where nothing ever attacks my base except for the occasional code carrier. Scorchbeasts in the skies, Blood Eagles, Mirelurks, Super Mutants, Ghouls all visible from my CAMP, but nothing ever attacks.
I've found these sweet spots everywhere. I even found a new one in Shenandoah. My garden blueprints are on the concrete foundations too, so I rarely have collision problems and fences snap right to them. Upper floors are good, but they're hardly necessary. Then, with the "plant crops" dailies and weeklies, I have 5 Razorgrain on one tile, so I just take any workshop I happen to be near and slap them down. No need to fuss with the awful collision.
One day a guy teached me to get crops really close together almost merged, but i only got the tato and other one, anyone knows how to do that?
@@himu96 there's a ton of guides out there. Shouldn't be too hard to find.
My only gripe with that is you cannot plant the elm trees in the dirt tiles (while you can plant the sap collector...). My camp is on a cliff and something green would look nice.

i hate bethesda for the limits... a 4k gold limit when i need more for some minerva sales is just straight up stupid.

@@freakypedia8524you can save 10k gold bullion even in this new update they added a qol fix and when you search currencies under the left side in pipboy it’ll show the max for all currencies now
Solar panels are great specifically if your workshop farming. 2 of them powers an extracor and you dont have to set up a bunch of wiring. The wind turbine also does this, but its size makes it a little unwieldy in certain workshops.
The whole point of the helmets/hats is to protect from toxic air. Has been since the beginning of the game. It would be purely decorative if it didn't....
Not all hats/helmets provide that perk though so most of them ARE, in fact, cosmetic.

Well the Backpack mods are the best deal here, since it saves you from having to jump through the hoops of that Pioneer Scout grind. SS jetpack is something everyone get, eventually, since SS is the best armor set. War Glaive needs more cowbell, especially with the Skyline Valley melee weapons outclassing it by default and also being easier to acquire.
The secret service helmet also has a light on it , you can turn on like the pip boy .
I started last week and finished the vault 79 quests and wasted my gold on the jetpack not knowing I need the armor plan first 😂😅
It happens. I recommend buying the underarmor lining plan from Regs(V79) that way when you buy the underarmor from Minerva in a few days you'll have the lining yo go with it. Not sure how much it is but I know it's fairly cheap considering it's a mod for underarmor.
Oops, but it's not wasted gold you were probably going to want it anyway.

If i choose the foundation/settlers on the gold vault mission i get the Chinese armor? So what do i get for choosing the Crator/Raiders instead?
Do the preparatory missions for both factions. You have to choose one faction for the actual vault run but you can do everything with both factions up to that point.

Good to know what she'll have, i appreciate the info. Sadly she doesn't have anything I actually want enough to go out of my way to grind bullion. I have very mild interest in the SSA but im still not convinced. Since my current armor is more than enough for everything the game throws at me.
As a new player ( oct 2023 ) it took me so much effort to get to 79 and get SSA, SSUA and now you can just buy it. Grrr. Same with the Grocer's Backpack Mod. Mannnn that Tadpole s**t !! True you have to do 79 for more mods. But again wish I started later.

i think it is okay, they did it that way.
i played since release date and i could get everything step by step when they released it.
But if you start today and you would need to play for 200-300h just to get a solid endgame equipment it would annoy most players.
this way you always have something to do and new players have a chance to catch up.
First time I caught dysentery I need to shut myself laughing😂. I was so hoping that my character would shiot himself😂😂 then on top of that I got him addicted to alcohol because it was a daily quest to drink loads😂
Yeah, I was disappointed that being an alcholohic, chem addict with dysentry has no consequences. I'd love to see my character at least clutch their guts when dysentry strikes LMAO.

@@mycookie011you don’t always have to wait either. You can get about 1 mod per day if you get all your daily bullion. If you get the big bulk (the armor itself) discounted I’d say that’s good enough (imo ofc)

But yeah, it's a bit of a mixed accent because I've had a lot of linguistic influences from living around the world and watching a lot of european media. The "italian" is probably from my spanish that's creeping in inadvertently, though I did also learn a bit of it.

I'm a kiwi living in Australia my self, but even in NZ no one guessed me a kiwi. My wife when I met her thought I was an American or Canadian immigrant hahah. I worked on Radio for a bit, had my own breakfast show and did most of the ad voicing. Looking to get back into it after 15 years away from it, see what happens. Great with my voice but clueless with video editing.

Assassins' Strangler Heart is arguably the best PVP PA
Yeah, I know you can stack DoT from the armor plus your weapon and mutations. So I can see that scenario working, it's just that PvP is optional.
Why are you not recommending The Gauntlet which is technically the best unarmed weapon in the game
The Plasma Light saber thingy (forgot qctual name) is awesomeness in your hands .. it slays and also has a chance for nuclear waste
Yeah, it's the best in the unarmed class. But it's not so much better than than the power fist that I would spend gold on getting it. That's not to say that unarmed isn't good, I've got a bloody faster swing power fist that I carry with me at all times. It's pretty fun.
But yeah, if you want to specialize in unarmed then it's worth getting it. Not so much for anybody else, especially anybody who's still getting things like SS armor.

It's ok. I like how unarmed only has the one perk for increased dmg. 3 perks for two handed or one handed is just obtuse. Minerva is also selling the "Face Breaker" plans, which is also a gauntlet.

Save your gold and do the quests in the new Skyline update. You get the V63 Zweihander, it's basically the same.

Idk why people are obsessed with SSA jetpack. It’s useless to me. There’s nowhere in the game that requires a jetpack to reach. And if you’re one of those goobers that builds your camp in the sky, just carry a spare chest piece with a jetpack to swap back and forth. There’s no need for it to be your main chest mod. Your “daily driver” chest piece should have ‘dense’ or ‘asbestos lining.’ Fire and explosions are WAYYYYY more common than the need for a slight jet boost.
It's freedom of movement. It's nice in like every game ive ever played.
Destiny 2 - eager edge swords,
Fallout new vegas - revolver jumping
Palword - flying mounts+gliders
I mean that's just a few off the top of my head.
It's used by bloody stealth comandos who use the jetpack to get to out of reach safe spots where trash mobs with no range can swarm them. + it's exceptionally usefull in swam/wave type events as you can put yourself in a position where emimies won't install focus on you, which leaves you to deal your maximum potential for damage.
Without it, they would be running around being usless.
@@KinesisXBL the problem is that you already have marsupial + bird bones + strange in numbers. The bonus from the jetpack is just not worth it imo. Also, the jet back is NOTHING like eager edge swords in D2 😂 those mfs basically allow you to teleport

@cl86241 it's just one piece in the utility toolbox. Plus I've already gotten use to it so if i take it off now I'm 1000% going to feel naked.
