Small correction on your comment about the C43 being a new thing, it's actually an old thing from the late 90s, it was the c43 w202 chassis with a 4.3 V8, it was also the flagship model back then. they dropped the name on the w203 chassis and have now revived it on the w205 chassis with a V6 in place of the old V8.
Got to admit though mate the rs6 moves quick no matter what weight it is, I love the looks of the Mercedes never drove one but they look and sound sick, would much rather the rs6 over the Mercedes though regardless, great video buddy got them notifications on

I’m now in the market for an estate car, I did initially look at things like the - C63, E63 & RS6 but with all thing considering this C43 just makes sense...great family car, fast, spacious and relatively fuel efficient compared to the others I was initially looking at...it may not be a proper AMG but it’s the AMG that makes sense! Great video as always even though I’m very late.....
This motor with a simple map will run 400hp and the difference is noticeable as it's the torque that really increases giving more instant shove. You'll be investing a lot of money to make this anywhere near 500hp never mind higher than that - At that point the law of diminishing returns kicks in. So C43 plus stage one map gives a real world very fast car that produces similar figures to a C63. It's only as the speed increase and a C63 can use it's power that the difference shows.
Very nice car. Been waiting to see a proper review from someone I follow. I agree they don’t really have the appeal looks wise but Mercedes have really stepped the game up. Pan roof is a must from now on. One of these or E43 will probably be my next car in saloon or maybe estate. Brilliant blue or black with premium plus spec is essential.
The 43 and 53 engines are production engines and not 'one man, one engine' or forged like the A45 etc ... they are rapid cars and the interiors surpass most brands but you can get 550 bhp out of a tuned A45 and destroy most things ... i know its only a 2ltr I4 but they have so much potential

Love the red leather interior. Although 4.7 to 60 seems fast Im amazed that my crappy old 1.4 litre car would barely be 1.5s behind it with only about 160bhp and manual shifting.
This engine sounds so much fucking better than the s55 and I'm a beamer fan boy, and I agree you right about the RS6 being only decent estate but I will never get my head around the looks but the sound yes.
I think the word you were looking for was nimble (@9.45m). Enjoyed the video, even the fan turning up. Car looks understated but has hidden performance.

Agreed. I have a 2017 c63 and have had it for 13 months, all I can think about now is upgrading to e63. Great car but I think e63 is for me.
