As someone who spends their time between UK and Hungary I love these videos and you capture Magyarország perfectly. What a shame the show was trashed- unusual to have such bad weather during the wonderful Hungarian summer.
After having visited Hungary 12 times now, I still have not been inside the parliament building. But we always loved going to the Street of Flavours. I love pogarca and rétes. We want to try the rose doughnuts as we never heard of them before. The historic part was very interesting. We had never seen those events before. Thanks again for sharing. (Eric)
I'm glad I was able to show you some things you hadn't seen before despite visiting so many times! The rose doughnuts have had a bit of a revival recently, but I think originally they come from a village in Hungary called 'Boldog' (= Happy). How cool is that!
As a British man, I can't imagine cancelling events because of rain. Does it not rain very often in Hungary? Edit: I wrote that before I saw the part about the deaths.
What other topics would you like to see videos about?
