2 DAYS Solo Overnight in BIG THUNDERSTORM - Bushcraft in Heavy Rain - Rain Camping with dog - ASMR

- While walking and arriving in the forest, it was raining. When we found the location for the camp, the rain started to subside. I built the tarp shelter in my favorite Diamond Shape way. For a better view from the shelter, I made an A frame construction to raise the shelter, which I normally tied directly to the tree. This way I have more space and better visibility. I prepared the food on the WINNERWELL BACKPACK STOVE RISUKEITIN RST. I used the new MORA GARBERG BUSHCRAFT PUUKKO, MULTI-MOUNT knife from @Mokkimies. I am very satisfied with him. It cuts perfectly. During the afternoon, a big thunderstorm started, followed by heavy rain. The heavy rain and thunderstorm lasted throughout the night. On the second day, it rained lightly in the morning, and I managed to collect my things without any problems.

I live in Dalmatia in the South of Croatia, and all my videos that I record for UA-cam are from the interior of Croatia, where the nature is beautiful, because we don't have such big trees in Dalmatia, we only have low vegetation and a lot of rocks, but that's why we have the sea. 👍🏻💪🏻🐕🇭🇷

Thank you for your comment👍🏻Yes, I also wished for heavy rains, especially in summer, because here in 🇭🇷 the temperatures are around 36-40°C. This time is ideal for being in nature. You can feel the wonderful smells after the rain and the slight cold that the rain and wind bring.👍🏻🐕💪🏻

I have an anxious dog during thunderstorms. Researched a long time ago and found what freaks them out more than the noise/lights is the change in air pressure in their ears. I tried everything from valium (obviously this is not a long term solution,) to putting a tight snug dog coat on him so he feels "hugged", to pacing up and down with him - because he didn't want to be calmed. Then, the other night a storm started. I expected more of the same - anxiety, me trying to alleviate it etc. but this time it was completely different. He was calm, almost Buddha like. And then it dawned on me - my ceiling fan was on and this was breaking up the air pressure problems which caused his anxiety. I'm not saying this will help all dogs, but it certainly helped mine.
Donna is afraid of thunderstorms when she's at home, but when she's outside, nothing bothers her. It's the same with cotton candy and firecrackers.

Yes, there is a lot to worry about for Skrama. As far as I know Skrama only has carbon steel. 👍🏻

Awesome video why don't take another tarp and some clothes pins and put in as a door just in case it's rain or gets cold
In my opinion, the best shelter when it's raining is the Diamond Shape. It doesn't get inside, and I get great visibility and a lot of space. It is not necessary to close the front side because the temperature does not fall below 22ºC and there is no wind. Thanks for the comment! 💪🏻👍🏻
Gdje kampiras? Ja sam iz Zagreba i cesto se pitam gdje je najbolje otici da si dovoljno daleko da netko ne zove sumarstvo kad zakuris vatru (jer koliko sam upoznat kod nas je to “divlje” kampiranje i dalje kao zabranjeno). Probao sam jednom na medvednici ali frend s kojim sam bio je ugasio cim se krenulo malo vise dimit bas iz tog razloga.
