@@techtonic9100 Superman's heat vision is supposed to be him releasing the solar radiation he has absorbed in his body, so it makes sense for it to look the way it does in the DCEU

This power is called Laser Vision. Because it's elegant almost surgical in the way homelander kills with it. He frequently used it. Whereas Superman's is Heat Vision which is more violent, thick and melts objects and superman rarely uses it. So they both have different eyes lasers.
i was gonna say the same, homelanders seems like a proper laser that cuts material, while supermans doesnt seem to cut as much as it just melts everything

I'd really recommend watching the series: not only is it a lot of fun, but also, "evil" is an understatement when it comes to the Homelander.
Homelander maintains a very clean-cut image, but behind closed doors, he makes the Joker look vanilla. He's a wonderfully charismatic and sinister villain, and he really raises the stakes for our heroes!
