- This is the final version of the Re-Dubbed Mega Man X ending from Megaman X4. This great re-dub wouldn't be possible without Kid DSF Fox who lends his talents as X and Zero.

Yeah as someone who's done over a dozen playthroughs of Maverick Hunter X, I totally agree that Mark has a much better X voice than I. I prefer doing Zero and think my voice fits him better, but I'm glad that so many people enjoyed my X voice whether they found it great or just okay.
The girl voice is ok for classic MegaMan but not X

@@ragewireloki6213 fun fact, they purposefully did this because Capcom originally wanted Mega Man X to have to same voice as Mega Man, and this game came out shortly after Mega Man 8, who used the same voice actress for Mega Man (and Clown Man).

I have a little nitpick: The "See you soon Zero" Is not as impactful [even with the bad voice acting] as "Promise me.........Zero"
I totally agree, unfortunately it was Gnite who rewrote the script and he definitely could've done better lol. I also had an issue with "no problem X see you soon", it felt awkwardly casual. If it were up to me it would've been "No, thank *you* X, you did good" or something like that.
Yeah, the performance here was infinitely better,... but the original dialog was still better (and closer to the original). This one lacks the implication that X means "if I go maverick, you must destroy me", though I would have also preferred if he outright said that instead of "take care of me", but that nitpick is against the original :P
Not always a fan of complete re-writes, but I will still say the performance was better

Any dub that replaced X's voice with a masculine voice is much better than the original English. Although Sigma's voice actors both Japanese and English were badass.

Voice actor for X and Zero here, thank you for the compliments! I haven't done any voice acting work since this surprisingly, though i have recently considered trying something else in the future. Not sure what, most preferably a Fallout New Vegas mod X)

Nice! But I really like the original line "You'll have to take care of me", implying that Zero would have to kill X... Unless X didn't mean take care of me as in kill, but instead care for this whole time and I've been wrong for over 20 years 🤔 Either way, nice dub 👍
Thank you! Yeah I agree, honestly I wasn't a huge fan of the rewritten lines but at the time I was just glad to have the chance to get my name out there in regards to voice acting. The reception this has gotten has been unreal and I'm glad to see so many people really enjoy it, I'll do some more voice acting projects myself on my own channel when I get the chance.

The voices don't fit 100% with the characters but definitely it's good enough to replace the original dub.
Yeah I much prefer voicing Zero, I think X needed a more powerful heroic voice like Liam O'Brien.

I feel like this guy could do a pretty good Zero voice if he made his voice lower (by speaking from the diaphragm, it gives your voice some bass)
Thanks for watching! Zero voice actor here. I think you're right, I always imagined Zero as being more of a gruff soldierly character than X and a deeper voice would reflect that well. I suppose my vocal choice here was a mix of me still wanting him to sound young and (if I'm remembering correctly) I hadn't actually played X4 yet, so I didn't know his character as well back then as i do now.

Can you do something like this for the Mega Man 8 cutscenes? Well, except for the one when Mega Man screams so loud and annoying that Duo saves him.
Michael Rhett I'd love to, but gnite hasn't responded to a single one of my emails in months. We were supposed to do a full dub of Final Fantasy 7 Last Order, but he just deleted the trailer and stopped responding for no reason. If you or a friend know how to remove original voice acting from a video and add new voice acting in, I'll gladly voice act for you/them.

Why does X sounded like a shy middleschooler, who's mustering up his courage to confess to somebody at the beginning? Critic aside, it's better than the American release
Voice actor for X & Zero here. Tbh I have no idea, I enjoyed voicing Zero a lot more than X so when I did X I imagined him as sounding a lot more kidish than Zero, the typical sort of sissy Shonen voice lol.

I would love to have the opportunity to voice the whole game, unfortunately Gnite's channel is dead so I'd either have to learn how to do it myself or find someone who knows how to mod voice files that would do it.
