Finished my first computer build almost 1 year ago, and it's still working like a champ. Thanks to your frequent updates, I monitor my computer constantly (I bought the 14900k, I was able to get the temps in control). I would never have attempted this build comfortably without your guidance. Have an awesome holiday, and keep up the great work. BTW, you are the only UA-cam creator that I subscribe to, and I subscribe to hundreds, who I have the notifications turned on for. My build in total with monitor and hardware was almost $6k, and I want it running top notch all the time, this channel held me do that. Thank you again!

Very reasonable price, 16Gb of RAM, AV1 Encode/Decode, and performance is very acceptable while gaming at FHD.

I actually think that Apple has the best strategy in putting CPU, GPU and neural engine on the same ARM RISC die. Not only is the performance really impressive, it comes at a tiny fraction of the power consumption (and thus heat generation) of x86 and discrete GPUs. Their M4 Mac mini is, IMHO, a warning shot across the bows of the industry, because that little box only takes 40W and yet has some of the best single thread performance available. Yes, the "Apple tax" of soldered RAM and SSDs is ridiculous, but imagine if somebody - Intel, AMD, whoever - started kicking out M4-like low wattage ARM chips that meant you could get rid of all the expensive high-power PSUs, heatsinks and cooling fans, dramatically lower running costs AND put a whole system in your hands for under $1,000. That company could destroy nVidia's business model overnight.

The correlation of INTEL CPU and GPU is coming. At the moment it is via PCIe 4.0 and REBAR. Higher tier Battlemage will take advantage of PCIe 5.0 direct access. If you check the comparisons INTEL GPU is almost half the Wattage when pushed yet keeping the FPS and better quality picture. This is because INTEL splits the tasks with CPU not just feeding the GPU. This is why Nvidia is looking to have their own CPU and have their similar architecture. Dual silicon architecture where you have all good frames and less Wattage. It solves lot of problems and cost and sells two instead of one. INTEL is looking to have all INTEL system cheaper for new builds. It's a game changer missing the higher tier INTEL ARC GPU.

Correct the info on AMD… AMD was originally NOT a GPU manufacturer. They were a second-source company for the X86 CPUs from Intel. When there was a fallout between Intel-AMD (Pentium/Athlon days), there was a company in Canada called ATI Technologies (think of their “All-In-Wonder” video card series). AMD was falling behind Intel in CPU sales by a large margin, so AMD bought ATI Technologies and sucked up their video card business. Back in the day NVIDIA, ATI TECH, and Matrox were the big video card companies. AMD’s (ATI Tech) video card business kept AMD afloat until the release of the RYZEN CPU family. So no, AMD was not originally in the video card business. BUT - they have vastly improved the foundational video tech they acquired with their merger with ATI Technologies.

Needed a GPU for an old PC. Picked up an A770 and some new ram. Although i wasn't impressed with the gaming aspect, My Video editor friend absolutely loves it as much as his 14900k/7900xtx editing machine. I mean gen4 speeds are not the best but his ability to edit, scrub and playback without rendering scenes he said is a bigger deal than up and down speed.

Seriously guys, if you're fed up with nVidia asking more for a GPU than you spent on your last car, give Intel ARC some love. You might not get the best GPU this year, but it could mean your next 5 upgrades will come at a fraction of the price that nVidia is going to hold you hostage to.

Intel needs to stop trying to go head-to-head with Nvidia and instead shake things up for everyone. Here's the idea: drop a GPU with 48GB of VRAM, get as close as possible to Nvidia's flagship performance, and sell it for $1,000. It doesn’t need to be the fastest-just reliable, with a solid driver library comparable to Nvidia’s. People just want something that handles inference, fine-tuning, and full ADAM training without breaking the bank.
Forget about competing in gaming. For the next two generations, Intel should go all-in on VRAM and decent performance, forcing Nvidia to rethink its VRAM-to-performance ratio. That would get startups, gamers, and AI developers to consider Intel over Nvidia. Let’s face it: AI developers are still using Pascal-era GPUs just to save money and get the VRAM they need. Intel doesn’t have to be the best-it just needs to offer a 48GB+ VRAM GPU with performance that’s one or two generations behind Nvidia’s latest. Everyone knows Nvidia isn’t prioritizing gaming anymore anyway so force them to eat away at their professional brand by disrupting their vram scam.

Ouch, the only way to make a company business succeed is, that they have sales. So, it's a hard one. But maybe, helping them is the way to go. How, making complot, and I don't know if that is possible, just an idea. UA-camrs can work as a team, how? Just adquiring them and giving away, some for content creators and some for gamers, as an entry level minimum requeriment card, and throw to the garbage any card, below this specs. As always, everyone can decide how many, and how much are willing to spend. It's a coin, maybe we can all win or maybe you will lose, besides that, you're winning for the idea, and also, the only way to make the prices down, is to play with demand. Maybe this card can work, like in other video you have, when paring 3 Nvidia 4090 cards. What could happen if you want to pair this card as a secondary card? Just for the codes etc. Yes is a bit pricey for that and possibly not worth it, I don't have it, but I would try it. Just as an idea. We people buy things for Ray tracing, upscalling and every moniker they throw at any card and pay the premium for that, even when they are not the best to cost benefit and then pay the triple that this card does. Just thinking. I appreciate your time and videos
