A lot of the older scenarios don't need staff buildings as staff tiredness was added a while after release. If you need a small injection of cash, sell off some out of the way scenery items (except plants because they cost money to remove). Some scenarios will have valuable stuff (like this scenario has the buried treasure). Advanced Move/Rotate is handy for finely aligning stuff (like trying to sharkify coasters). I find it handy to have ride exits next to the controls so mechanics don't have to walk as far for maintenance. (Not sure if it really saves that much time though.) Don't forget to check out the Research tab in Park Management if you want more rides/shops/scenery/etc. Unfortunately the scenery brush is a PlanCo 2 thing, but you can multiselect a few items for faster duplications. And don't forget Ctrl + Z is your friend.
You can use X ( advanced move) for many of the pieces you want to decorate with in order to get more accurate placement.FIrst tap has moving and the other tap for rotation. Many pieces has the option to tick a box on the right named " Align to surface" it makes them stick according to the direction of the surface, although they often end up hovering away from the surface: hence why the X is handy for the placement :) Btw: under park managment you can find a research tab which allows you to research new coasters, food/drink stands, themes and so on.
If you click and drag the outer blue square of the coaster tracks, you can select multiple at once to smooth the connecting tracks.. also it’s best to click the smooth button multiple times to get the best smoothing
Hey Azungu! As i watch i notice that you aren't paying much attention to the angle snap feature! When building anything the angle snap is on by default and can make some rides look more boxey. In the menu where you pick which path, coater piece you want, etc you can turn it up or down or completely off if you'd like a really hand made ride. And for roller coaters, you can go back after and use the smooth tool and really smooth it out and it will make it uniform and look even better. Great job so far progressing and learning and I can't wait to keep watching how you grow!
When I first started I didn’t do the tutorial and I was so lost on this scenario😂 if you have time between recordings for sure try to pop them out real fast. It will help a lot with the staff management and stuff. I’m real excited you started these videos too!
As for pricing, there is quite a simple trick: Look at your Prestige Rating for the ride at the Ride Overview tab when you select a ride/coaster. E.g. the wooden coaster in this scenario has 911 prestige Now you take that rating and divide it by 37, thats your maximum price the guests will pay for the ride I recommend rounding that result down to the nearest full dollar so that when the ride ages and loses its prestige you dont have to adjust pricing. Therefore you can charge up to 24,60$ for the wooden coaster, i would round down to like 22,50$ or so
In terms of Station Buildings, they're not necessarily needed, but it is worth it to have one or more of them for tracked, dark, and water rides as well as coasters. Also the two types of coasters you were able to work with were the result of the game's funding from Cedar Fair (The owner of both Cedar Point and Carowinds). And don't be afraid to take your time with the building of coasters, one of my rides, A-60's Fury took over an hour to build in game. But anyways, not a bad performance!
Hey Azungu! Another comment from me as I watch more. As you are building, if you undo you get the full value back instead of ex deleting old track pieces which won't give you the full value back and save you some money!
Sweet another video. I like this game. If you wanna decorate the park during the video go ahead I'll watch the whole video. Keep up the good work and God bless.
It's a bit painful (in a good way) watching your Videos, because you often ask for things and hover with the mouse around, but always when you are near the option you are looking for, you stop or miss it 😂 So here are some tips: - you should start to read through all menus and its tabs if build or select sth. - you can disable "angle snap" while building (especially coaster) for complete freeform building. - can smooth coasters, buy selecting 3-4 parts and best way to smooth forward and backwards (there mods for this). - block brakes are the ones with the little train/car symbol... The other brakes don't have block function. - you have to set the coaster mode from "standard" to "block mode" to work. - while building a coaster just push the button "start test" to run tests while building. - you have a lot of freedoms, but a lot of stuff is hidden in menus or sub menus... So take your time too look at them. - buildings have a grid system, walls can only be placed at a grid, but then you can add all scenery to the grid that you want... At the beginning it will be hard to learn when you work on a building grid and when not. - I suggest you disable all the collision options and track limitations in the games settings for complete building freedom. - learn to use the advanced move of objects. - you can select multiply items with shift, duplicate them (Ctrl + x or D) and copy and paste - the free look mode (t) is best used with first person shooter controls (w+a+s+d) on the keyboard. - there are so many settings like camera locked to track while building etc.that you can enable/disable as you prefer... - if you don't have enough rides in scenerys there is research tab in the finance window (but not everything is available in every scenery)
@@azungu1190 no problem, hope that helps, about the select multiple items thing.... Maybe it was Ctrl instead of the Shift key, not sure because I haven't played a while... But there is so much you can do.... For example set triggers on a track to run animatronics, music, Videos.... You have sequencers for fireworks or animatronic scenes... With this you build great dark rides... And a good tip is to learn the short cuts... For example for "move/rotate object" and some more
Please allow the ball guy to kick the earth every video I love it too lol
his name is king coaster

Also queue scenery is important!
Sorry for the spams😂 you can also research scenery in some scenarios to get more trees
Thanks for the suggestions! I forgot about queue scenery

You can increase the length as well as the width of your paths. Can also increase the length of your coaster tracks.
You should try the "align to grid" path feature, good for large plazas and symmetry
Are you going to play planco2
That’s the plan!
Don't forget to research in this game you'll get more stuff

@ indeed! Hotkeys are life savers
Sense you keep bring it up Ill let everyone know that a Meter is only 0.9 yards. Therefore, it is not bigger than a yard.
If you use control z to undo coaster track instead of the destruct button you get your full value back btw 👍🏻
Oh there you go! Thanks, wish I knew that sooner 😆
Highly suggest you don’t make your chairlifts to steep, I’d say go for 30-45 degrees for realism :)
Good point. I’m just so used to the shallow lift hills in RCT1/RCT2, I liked the novelty of going super steep 😆
