There are a lot of things you can do in sandbox! You can turn off guest vomit and trash in settings, you can also turn off staff management! To attract lots of guests I use the golden treasure chests and sink it into the ground. I only use these in sandbox as I don’t really play any other modes. You can also name a guest or staff member “tegidcam” to get a guest view of your park! You can also press and hold z to get more control of a path when connecting it to another path! Shift is also used to change the height of things.
This is awesome Azungu, so glad to see you playing finally! Wait till you find out about scaling the pre-made loops and elements (with that other blue control bubble where you can turn the loop left to right) and the smoothing tool which allows you to even out any awkward transitions, the banking offset acts kinda like heartlining, and you can go back and adjust the banking, horizontal and vertical position of where any 2 track pieces meet. you can even select many track pieces! fool around with the coaster builder lots to get control of it!
To Make The Track Smoother and Easier to connect to station turn of “ANGLE SNAP” the box should not have a check mark in it (if you want to build you coaster track without much rigid stuff.)
I don’t use the premade elements unless it’s an inversion, i don’t like the helix elements because it’s basically just a spiral instead of a helix, I just make my own, not bad for your first coaster though!
i too would consider myself a pro after 20 years in rct3 and having played the first two constantly up until 3's release. i know im one of the weirder ones that played consitently rct 3 for 20 years but now that i am a PC fan i literally havent opened rct3 once and have already built some really legit and smooth coasters. this is a fun watch to see where our minds take us when we are so accustomed to something thats the same but different.
Nice work! For a first timer! I do recommend to place some more shade in the future. You can also use a Priority Pass queue in the future, but you'll need an Information booth to sell them. But otherwise good job! Make sure there's restrooms, first aid offices, and staff buildings in the park just for good measure.
Sweet this game is very immersive and theres lots to do. I could watch you decorate a park. Also is there any rct2 or any 3 wild left. Thanks for playing God bless.
I plan to jump back into RCT2, maybe after I finish RCT3 Wild. I’m thinking of trying RCT2 in Vanilla, as some have said I had it easy in OpenRCT2. So playing in Vanilla would be a fun challenge!
@@azungu1190 i think what what this game needs is the scenery placement where you can set a location and click on a tree so you can place lets say 20 trees at once, it came in handy in rct2
With the coaster builder I have a few tips. #1 turn off auto snap( it’s a checked box on the right when building. #2 there is an auto smooth track feature. When you had the track selected and could move it around after it was placed, go to the right of the screen and you will see 4 tabs, that gave different levels of smoothing. #3 if you want ti smooth the transition between track pieces. Drag the arrows to select multiple sections of track at once and click the aforementioned smooth buttons. #4 at any time while building there is a box on the right screen that looks like it would show ride statistics. At the top of the box it says START RIDE TEST. 😅 #5 to enable block mode. You were in the right tab to start with. Just go to where it just standard mode. Click it and change it to block mode. #6 all track building rides have a feature called auto tunnel which will make it so the terrain will fit move to allow track placement. It is right next to the auto snap button. Also just one more thing. MAKE YOUR QUEUE LINES LIKE 5x longer. People will hate on the park and stop coming if they are all full. If the queue is full no more people will attempt to get in it. Hope this all helps
Don't know if anyone said it yet, but when building coasters (and other rides) there are tabs next to the piece selection: a clipboard and a series of lines. The lines will give you extra options, like lift hill speed and brake target speeds, etc. And on special track pieces, like the helixes and loops, etc. There is a button that pops up along with the angle option. You messed with the angle one, but not the other. This other one will change the size of the special piece. Feel free to click around more than you did and really explore all the buttons available. They almost all do something!
i found out you can smooth path direction smoothing like at the beginning by holding down the Z button while laying the path if making corcle like u did at begonning, and zoom in and out easy for me is the PG Up and PG Down buttons, good video Man,keep it up, and soon You Also will be shooting and aiming Coasters at unsuspecting parents and Kids...haha
To get multiple train you go into were it says operation mode and then click standard, then block section. Also to test your ride while building it you click start test.
Ill give a good hint that will help rides, using terrain as part of your roller coasters. Such as making tunnels with rocks for the track to go thru and such
Neat! I tried playing this game but went back to OpenRCT2 because it was easier to build good-looking parks there. Also, I thought this was funny, but I had deja-vu at 18:01, strangly enough. Good video, as always.
what may help is in the settings in game there is a bunch of options like global vertical snapping to help snap everything in place so everything is looks nicer while building with placements
You can use the measure symbol while building a coaster to stretch your pieces It really helps building Any coaster Love the content 💯 cant wait for the career mode I got stuck at one point so I really hope you do a way beter job that I did
Hmm... Yes. No obvious button on the coaster menu when you said, "I wonder how you can like ghost test these.." I don't see no white button that says "Start Test" anywhere. Do you? And fun fact: I started playing "Planet Coaster: Console Edition" quite recently. I'd say late September to early October, and I continue to play as it's entertaining to make rides to your style, but also when testing throwing the cart either into the ground, into the air, or straight into a support beam, (iykyk Planet coaster ppl). I tend to play Planet coaster some days and Fortnite some others, so I am a very diverse gamer (I play Minecraft, Rocket League, Roblox, Hogwarts Legacy and some other games). Darn right LOL 😂 I’m trying to get through as many as I can before PlanCo 2 comes out. Then I might bounce back and forth between them, since there’s no chance I’ll finish all the PlanCo 1 parks in time.
Planet coaster 1 coasters are not as smooth as planco 2’s, oh yeah you can just say planco or planco 2 for short. planco 2 comes November 6th. Also if you want first person view, name someone or a staff tegidcam. Don’t be surprised if the coasters aren’t smooth when you smooth them out, the smooth tool is not the best. you can download things from the workshop. And use the ruler to extend or decrease the length of your track pieces. Always never put your exit at the way the guests enter, always put it where the operator is. Have staff buildings in your park so staff won’t quit, go to shops tab and select the staff option.
@@azungu1190you can also train your staff, also don’t forget you can add 2 trains, just select block section mode in the operations tab and click where it says standard.

LOL I saw it said 720 and wondered why I didn’t have the option to change it. Just looked it up and I think I was supposed to switch to full screen instead of borderless 🤣
It is very fitting that the first real issue you encountered outside of just learning the controls was the path tool.
Haha true
Selecting multiple track pieces then hitting the “smooth all” button greatly improves those jarring moments on your coasters
Which button on your computer keyboard, or on the game screen smooths everything out on the coaster? @GTtonyrock16
