    Excellent tips. I was wondering about stutter for individual instruments. I had a feeling it could be done but didn't really look into it yet. I'm going straight to my Volca Beats to take advantage of this tutorial. Thanks. These are great.

    Thanks for another great demo, Marc. This one was an absolute tour de france - er, I mean tour de force. (Freudian slip).

    I woulld like to see a demo of volca beats, volca bass with minibrute.

    Any idea how these things may sync up to a moog subphatty? I know the subphatty prefers to sync to external clocks, but will it serve as an external clock to a volca?

    Great videos. Thanks for posting! Quick Q: Can you do active step per voice/instrument as with the Monotribe? Thanks.

    How does one erase motion sequences in the KV Beats without having to record over them? Can you control the pitch and stutter knobs from an external device?

    Great Tutorial, I made a Video After you going over the same things but yours is much better and much more intuitive and also I completely disregarded "GLOBAL STUTTER" as useless whereas you have made it sound great. Thank you fore the video and the information within.

    Great vid! Can Motion Rec per instrument simply record the knob settings without moving them? For example, can you use PCM speed to get a Clap sound I like and then have that be permanent in the pattern while moving on to other instruments? I seem to be missing something here. Same question in regards to Stutter settings.

    You can also hold function+mute and it instead mutes everything *except the selected instrument.

    Can you control the tempo with the MIDI-in? The manual is useless. Thanks

    Total "Erotic City" vibe to this one Marc. I'd love to see this thing through an Ibanez AD-9. I like how you comment on the stutter being like tweaking a delay feedback while I was thinking it.... You're in my head!.... Now I'm wondering how many outputs this thing has..

    Can you adjust the length of the step sequencer? i.e. can you shorten it to say, 12 beats per sequence so as to write a beat in 3 instead of 4?

    • @jasonarthur4642
      @jasonarthur4642 10 років тому +1

      yea, Func key and Active step will allow you to do that. Any number of steps.

    Great video - Thank you!
    One quick question and forgive the silly nature of it - can one chain 16 step patterns together? If not, I guess you could build up a 'song' by bringing in muted parts over time...
    Anyway, thank you!

    • @jacobzurawski
      @jacobzurawski 6 років тому

      It lets you save up to eight patterns that you can quickly switch between by holding "write" button. eight keys will be lit to represent the saved patterns, with one of them flashing to indicate which pattern you are currently playing. Press any of the other eight keys while holding write button to switch. Can't recall if this is while in step mode or live mode tho.

    Do you notice that your pcm sounds are lower in volume than the rest of the sounds and other volcas?

    • @v0Xx60
      @v0Xx60 7 років тому

      Yes, the PCM sounds are not the loudest, unfortunately. There are mods to fix that, but mods are kind of there own topic.
