    Jon there’s really something special about this one. The intro really blew me away and every sound that came out of it was seriously impressive. Better than the Hotone Ampero to my ears especially the gains - wow
    Even the drums sound decent and the layout on the unit and the software look so intuitive. I have some more saving to do.
    This isn’t just a great demo it was a great introduction tutorial for anyone starting off with it. Nux should have a link to this in their site.

    Neat. This would be my pedal to end all pedals. And amps. Good demo, really appreciate the detailed effort.
    For like $250 you get a bunch of amps and cabs that sound like real amps and cabs. And something representing most pedals out there. And a whammy/wah/volume whatever pedal. It's a pretty absurd value proposition at this level of sound quality and simulation. It even has a headphone out so it's a practice amp.
    I think I want this now. Though I want a 5 or more button footswitch. Two buttons is trial sized.

Like putting a Marshall sound to footswitch one and a clean Fender sound to footswitch two and so on. I suppose you don't need an audio interface to connect it via USB to a computer, right?

    Thanks for the detailed review (as usual!). I have three questions regarding the MG30: [1] Is it possible to change amps in S2 and S3 scenes), so these are significantly different than the S1 patch? [2] Is it possible to assign NMP-2 with A and B to bank up and down and the footswitches on the pedal from left to right assigned to change patches, ie, 1A (single press), 1B (single press), 1C (single press), and 1D (double press control switch). So when I press B, then 2A, 2B, 2C, and 2D are available, and so on. This would be much better for a live situation. [3] Is the assignment of the four controls per patch or global?

    Hello, I want to use the mg 30 in live situations and with no amp simulators and overdrives or distortions,,,,Something like this; Guitar,,,BBpreamp, TS9, and then this mg30 using chorus, leslie, delay and reverb...You tried this? How it sounds?,,,or maybe Line6 M9 is better for this?

The unit seems to be on a table for all demos, yet is it a floor unit? Thanks for the video. 😉

    Hey Jonathon, awesome playing and fantastic review. I saw your review on the Ampero as well and had a question regarding the looping features since I am a bit torn between the two. On the Ampero, you mentioned that looping could be a challenge with the drums because of the start and end points - you have to nail them. I have to assume then that the start point of the loop does not sync automatically to the first downbeat of the drums (like it would for instance in the old line 6 spider amps). Is the looping feature on the Nux more forgiving (does it sync with the drums) or are you still prone to human timing to get the start and end points correct?

    • @JonIsJustTooLoud
      @JonIsJustTooLoud  3 роки тому +1
