0:38: Jesus christ i love that one DUNG you did with that really now octave! it must be tricky to do that off beat bass line like that! I sure can't imagine how much work it took to learn that kind of magic!
i know this comment is from 5 months ago but i must ask, did you have a teacher? learning this wouldve been quite hard and i currently dont have a piano teacher i was wondering if i would need one at all or whether i should just self teach.
@@hakatackagaming4634I’ve been playing for just over a year now self-taught, never had a teacher (I can’t afford one). I’d say that having a teacher is always gonna be better, but everything they can teach you, you can find online (if you know where to look).
@@hakatackagaming4634 a couple things to note: while there are some things about piano online, it's drastically less than with other fields. It's not like coding, for example. How to read sheet music and basic music theory is probably as far as you'll get on the internet (unless you really spend a lot of time researching), which is adequate to learn a song, but teachers will be able to correct you on mistakes you didn't even know existed. Having a teacher is 10 times more helpful than learning on your own. That being said, I actually suggest you don't get a teacher if you want to learn songs like the ones yoshi puts out. Classically trained pros who actually know what they're doing typically don't want to humor students who just want to play soundtracks. They'll insist you learn classical pieces that they assign to you, because they're in it for the long haul and are prepared to mentor you and guide your growth for years with a set strategy they've developed over decades of teaching. A teacher willing to help you with whatever you want to play is likely not a serious professional and therefore a waste of money anyway.
piano playing is more than good but: in my opinion you left a lot dynamic and "feeling" behind just to get more "left-hand" notes in. I mean: playing is super impressive! you can´t argue with that but arrangement isn´t just getting the depth in my opinion. You are an amazing piano player but give the music more room to breath.
I agree man.. I think he has an electronic piano and that by default doesn't allow him to adjust the pressure exerting with his left fingers. The melody should be pointed out all the rest is ancillary.
omg I felt exactly the same! I was like wow this guy is incredible! but gosh it felt so busy I was like fwarr there's something missing because there's so much in there... kind of backwards irony lol adding extra makes it seem lacking... hmmm. but absolutely, incredible pianist!
In my opinion, this one takes the place of your Gurenge arrangement as the best piece on your channel yet; the octave shifting and trills were fabulous! If you take requests, I would love a piano arrangement of Two Steps From Hell’s “Winterspell”, it’s one of my favourite pieces of all time.
Your precision blows my mind. I just watch your hands screaming across that keyboard and I'm just amazed. I wish I could do that, but alas, I'm no master of the keys xD But I do have a talent for sequencing midi files so i can just get a digital player piano and play these back on it!
This is awesome! Pirates of the caribbean is my favorite! Id suggest the kraken theme maybe? Though I saw you do a lot of Thomas Bergersen? I've never seen a true piano cover for his composition "Cassandra" that would be absolutely amazing! That's one of his most underrated pieces
I don't know what word should I use for your performance It's just amazing and the fact that you put the sheet in description is just so kind of you and I promise that you will have a better life in real life because the things that you do will come back!! I hope I will learn this song with the sheet and this video but beside it I just want to give a big big thank to you bro ❤🧡💛
Hey Yoshi, this is amazing stuff. I was just wondering - as you have the digital copy of the sheet music, is there any way you can transpose that into f minor and send It to me please. We are doing this song in the orchestra but the conductor has bought an F minor copy, and I really want to be able to play this, if not in a different key. If this is possible please could you send me the sheet music via google drive. Thanks so much!
I have never commented on your videos before, but I have to acknowledge that you are one of my favourite pianists!! I don't know if you take suggestions, but I would really love to hear your arrangement of Chavaliers de Sangreal from: "The Da Vinci Code" Can't wait for your next video! ❤❤

If you think like that go and see Jarrod's video 😂😂
I kinda agree yeah. Cause overall this is rlly good but the bass comes out a little to loud and unnecessary sometimes
Hans Zimmer is genius
Those two compositions were written by Klaus Badelt. Not Zimmer
