Did Amado's origin story and motives for his actions change your perception of him? Where does Amado's story rank amongst characters in Boruto and Naruto?
Slightly altered my perception of him, but at the end of the day he was involved with the kidnapping and killing of who knows how many kids and didn't protest too much, so overall he's still a morally repugnant man who's willing to go to pretty much any means to get what he wants, he can never be trusted
Amado definitely deserves to see his daughter again. Just not in the land of the living. Seeing as Amado is one of maybe two characters in the manga that are both impactful and have a backstory (Kawaki's backstory was not depicted well in the manga), he's gotta be at the top. His backstory is the best (in the manga), and he is probably the MOST impactful Boruto character thus far.
Honestly, this is something I was waiting for you to do and if you consider the lack of life lessons in Boruto, it instead highlights the limits of humanity and ethics. Great video.

First impressions make or break you. A lot of people don't see how boruto builds on stuff from Naruto because they have their mind set to hate it. I have issues with boruto but I can see where it builds on stuff. The whole fathers and children theme of part 1 literally builds on what we saw from Naruto. Shame you ask the people who dunk on the series to say the theme and that never comes up. Shows they're not paying attention

Whereas Asuma/Jiraiya/Hiruzen/Naruto protected the king, Amado sacrificed several kings to bring back his daughter? Morally were Amado's actions justified and does this make him a good parallel to Naruto as a parent?
It can be argued that his daughter is his k̶i̶n̶g̶ queen so he's doing whatever he needs to not to protect her but to resurrect her. Different people have different standards for morality and just because his standards don't align with what most of us consider moral doesn't mean he's not doing what he considers moral.. kind of similar but to a much higher degree to that girl from the cloud in the most recent episode of the anime.

This is part of their theme but what we haven't got is the planet Creators. It reminds me of themes in the Marvel universe as well as dragonball. I've toyed with Boruto as a concept of a world creator but he's more of a defender, do you think there is an opposing force of world creation? It has to be otherwise there would be no planets. Thoughts?

No doubt Naruto took the L. I just bumped him up because as the video goes over, he's on the opposite end of Naruto. Naruto didn't want to lose his son, but Naruto would never go the route Amado did to save Boruto, where Naruto has to kill innocent people, whereas Amado did. Both went different routes to protect the "king" and it's fitting.
It's hard to feel bad for Amado after knowing all he did. Yes, his daughter died. But he coldly experimented on multiple children. In the end, we see that Amado is ruthlessly selfish. When someone only cares for themselves and their desires, it's hard to see the reason anyone else should care for them.

I think that Obito and Nagato were completely unjustified (though I like their characters for what they added to the story). Amado isn't tragic, nor do I feel sorry for him. Yes, it's sad his daughter died, but she was 24! At least she was able to live up until adulthood before she lost her life, but what about all the karma experiments that lead to the deaths of those children Amado knowingly took part in? He was happy to allow other families to lose their children but he won't allow the death of his own?! Not only that, but he's using Kawaki for his own ends, he's been using everybody, it's just a shame only Shikamaru can see he's a narcissist.

it definitely makes him fascinating considering it shows what has driven him to be so ruthless and elusive. it's also interesting to see that his disillusionment in kara turned him into a man who has come to believe that he can trust nobody but himself and seems to distrust konoha just as much as konoha distrusts him. regardless of what we think about amado, he's by far the most fascinating and perplexing character of the series thus far

The best part of the Naruto story was the philosophy and it teaching us actual useful life lessons. Boruto lost this, but with the introduction of Shibai and more Amado lore dropping we are returning back to the good writing. 🙏

After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*

The best part of the Naruto story was the philosophy and it teaching us actual useful life lessons. Boruto lost this, but with the introduction of Shibai and more Amado lore dropping we are returning back to the good writing. 🙏

1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move so Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them.
2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods.
3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*

After what feels like now years we now barely get a grasp of what Amado's motives are. The writers could have told us this since the beginning and we would have been more invested in the story. All chapters have a slow "fillerish" pacing for a monthly release. How has Naruto not bashed Amado's head with questions regarding the clone of Jiraiya, kashin koji???
