I think we all here agree that Sepultura and Pantera were those bands that put the 90s metal beyond, and rescued a genre that was almost fading away.
Also had Anthrax, Slayer, White zombie, Fear factory, Machine head, Overkill, and Testament.

Sou português e tenho um orgulho enorme em ter visto esta grandiosa banda ao vivo aqui em Portugal no ano de 1992 na Tour do Arise.

Nossa, eu estava neste show. Tempos bons. Eu era tão novinha e já amava shows de rock. Não perdia nenhum. Lembro quando encontrei todos do Sepultura no aeroporto de Cumbica em 1991 e fui pedir autógrafo porque eu já era muito fã deles. Eu estava de pijama lilás com estampa de vários cachorrinhos fofos. Nem sei o que eles pensaram. 😂 Bom, eu era criança e era bem tarde, umas 01h da madrugada. Eles foram super simpáticos. Até hoje tenho os autógrafos daquele dia.
Esse Sepultura foi algo difícil de narrar, todo headbanger brasileiro viveu esse sonho junto com a banda, eles tinham o visual certo, o som impecável, a voz mais brutal e épica do mundo, a bateria mais tribal que uma banda já viu, um guitarrista fantástico e eram Brasileiros!!! Me lembro de passar a adolescência com uma camisa do Arise que comprei no fã clube da Banda na galeria.
Infelizmente a treta dos caras foi grande demais para ser relevada e podermos sonhar em vê-los juntos mais uma vez.
Como eu disse, foi um sonho, porém, foi um daqueles que pareciam perfeitos mas que alguém nos acordou no melhor momento e o sonho acabou antes do fim deixando um saudosismos que dói na alma de todo fã.
Em Portugal tambem eram muito idolatrados e tinham muitos fãs .. um orgulho serem Brasileiros
para mim é e sempre foi uma banda de culto que marcou pelo som e pelo visual ... ( O Max com suas calças camuflado urbano e todos queriam ter umas ,... eu consegui :) )
Chaos A.D. dá de 10 x 0 no Roots que tem muito berreiro do Max e pouco trabalho do Andreas. A tendência natural da banda era o Max criar outra banda. Ele iria atrapalhar as composições do Andreas

Mas na minha opinião; do ROOTS pra lá a banda já dava sinais de uma desandada monstro........ali pra mim foi o fim!!!!!!!!

I'm with you, I only saw them once with Biohazard and Pantera, and Sepultura blew them both off the stage, they were the mid card band, I never was a fan of the other 2, I could have slept through their shows

Yes , it was the same when I saw sepultura open for pantera. Sepultura brought an energy that i had never seen before or since in an arena setting. The kind of insane energy you usually only experience when seeing a top band in a small club setting. These 4 guys during that time were on a level that few ever achieve, live.

Sepul in their prime, what an awesome energy they had. I hooked off after roots but have fond memories of their early times. Max's vocals ruled, rough, unique and very identifiable.
I saw these guys at the Channel in Boston, MA. back in 1991. Arise tour. Sick of it All, Sacred Reich and Napalm Death opened. There was about 700 people packed into this sweatbox. Incredible show. Sepultura were amazing back then.
I was there. Second show I ever saw. Skinheads were wild that night.

@@matheusabner7983 Acho que ele quis dizer formação clássica, e nunca mais rolar, só se um milagre acontecer: o Max vive chamando o Andreas de traidor e ladrão nas músicas do CC, e o Andreas e o Paulo se recusam a trabalhar com a Gloria de novo, isso sem contar que o Igor parece ter zero interesse nessa história de reunião. Ainda tem muito drama e ressentimento entre esses caras, tomara que eu esteja errado, mas acho que nunca mais vai rolar.

Tem outras coisa envolvidas tambem que a gente nem sabe. Nem grana ajudou numa reunião, não tem mais volta mesmo.

Im going to have to disagree with you here brother, I used to hate on the new lineup just as much as anyone. My friend showed me the newest album Quadra, i have to admit, it fuckin shreds. After I got through that album i went back and listened to their other albums prior and I have to say, I think they get some unjustified hate and I am guilty of it too. Go give Quadra a listen to, it might change your mind!

Its got a pretty rad old sepul feel added with some new death metal into it and its Max and Igor playing all over again
Kisser made just one good album, Quadra, in 23 years since Max left the band. With Max this band had 6 great albums. Sepultura from 2020 are technical very good but they don t inovate.

Esse show na TV foi exibido eu era quando criança. Foi a primeira vez que vi uma banda de "rock pesado". Fiquei ENCANTADO.

Someone already mentioned how fast ARISE is. Sounds great to me. I fell in love with BENEATH THE REMAINS, ARISE and CHAOS AD.
I'm going to explore more of their music, I think it's about time, I've been listening to them since 1994. I first saw them on the television, the video for DEAD EMBRYONIC CELLS. I loved it right away, I went out and bought the album. I remember also buying PANTERA, VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER and DEATH SPIRITUAL HEALING. I thought they were all good.

Eu tiña 23 anos no 1994, Sepultura marcou a miña vida, a primeira tatuaxe que fixen foi a "S" de Sepultura...de feito moitos anos despois, nun show en directo, estaba sin camiseta e Andreas veu a tatuaxe...e cando remataron sinaloume dende o escenario, acerquei, chocoume o puño e regaloume a pua coa que acababa de tocar Beneath The Remains...é un dos meus tesouros mais apreciados!
Aqueles anos foron increibels e dudo que se repitan...

I love this band. I saw them when they open 4 Pantera in Dallas Texas back in the 90s it was a great show with a good lineup.

nunca assisti um show deles, nasci em 98 hihi
luiz eduardo esse show tem um valor sentimental muito grande. Pq eu era um adolescente e estava com um amigo que já faleceu. E a coisa que mais ficou foi a união que tínhamos. Quando o show começou a roda abriu bem onde estávamos. E cara, isso é inesquecível. Muita pancadaria. Inesquecível.
