When he explained why his mom made him wear it; it made perfect sense cuz we all know how Bonnie Kelly thinks.
She probably taught him to lock the stall door 3 times, and flush 3 times, and wash his hands 3 times.

It’s a rather nice episode of that season (sadly, 2 last season are a letdown). But… it doesn’t really work, since we have seen what Charlie can poop on a spot in previous seasons.

What if Charlie was the serial killer that was killing young blondes earlier in the series? He could have transferred the heads to Gary's apartment and "found" them so that the gang would think that Gary was the serial killer. Here Charlie is dressing up as a woman (a la Norman Bates) and would therefore have a much easier way to kill women in bathrooms. Dennis is not the real sociopath in the series, Charlie is.

Clancy Carter I see your reasoning, but I almost find it much more disturbing with the current context. Dennis was the only one who wasn’t reactively negatively at Charlie in the dress, he was smiling. Likely because he’s crossdressed before himself, ie The Aluminum Monster Vs Fatty Magoo. Dennis could very likely be plotting to use that new piece of information in the future. As for Charlie well we all have a good idea as to why Bonnie didn’t want him in the men’s bathroom by himself, he’s certainly had a history of sexual abuse. The idea of this seemingly perverse act being done to prevent a much more heinous perversion evokes imagery that disturbs me to visualize.
Charlie did not know where Gary’s apartment was till Dennis and Dee called them. In fact he didn’t know who Gary was in General.

Imo this is the type of scenes that make me not like the newer seasons. The explanation for why he dresses like this when he poops does make it fit the character but at the same time the joke i# Charlie dressing like a girl. It’s like Big Bang theory type of comedy or something you’d see on two and a half men.

One episode I liked this season was episode 4. Which was fantastic. The rest has been mediocre for some reason. Almost every episode of its always sunny is usually funny

UGH. This show jumped shark SOOOOO many years ago. All these late, trendy, normie "fans" are just praising any lazy writing. This show pushes nothing but agendas (gay/trans). Not for comedy.....but, just shoe-horning an agenda to please their Hollywood friends. The magic of the earlier seasons was organically having gags and poking fun at society. The clips in recent years (because I stopped watching, years ago....) just aggressively pushes an agenda. I hate when shows don't know how to bow-out, gracefully. Or....when low-level "fans" keep supporting sequels to "Star Wars" or "Marvel" movies.

@@thehantavirus Christ. That's very cringy to hear. Watching Rob and Charlie on the recent "Whiskey Ginger" podcast, they both discussed their mansions and nannies. So, yeah....they've been removed from common folk, for a while. And....like any former "rebel": if you stay in the system long enough...you become the villain.
Regarding their desire to leave: they're not wrong. Any writer can sense they lost a lot of creativity YEARS ago. That show hasn't been funny, since 2011. It started to go downhill, in Season 6 (a mostly unfunny season). It picked-up a bit.....but, I wished they would've wrapped it up, as it lost steam.
The earlier seasons were real and RAW. But (as you revealed) I guess it's all about pleasing their industry gods, now. I also saw a recent video stating Rob was raised/adopted by Lesbian moms. It was one of those "You probably didn't know" ....trivial videos.
