I took delivery of my Hyundai ioniq 5 a couple of weeks ago. The ioniq 5 comes with a 2 year free 30 minute charging sessions with Electrify America. As far as the EVgo charging stations, you are right about the most available. However, most of the EVgo chargers around my area only have 50 kWh rapid chargers. I haven’t seen any EVgo charging stations offering over 50 kWh rapid charging. It would take me over an hour to rapid charge my ioniq 5 from 10 - 80 %. Electrify America had 150 to 350 kWh rapid chargers. I used the 150 kWh charger and it takes about 25 minutes to rapid charge. Using the 350 kWh would affect the health of the battery pack .
I just got mine but i have to go back in a week for the features because of dealer situation. How do i run the ac while charging so that i can sit back and relax?
The issue with this 80% number is how many former ICE owners will commit to that. When you say manufacturers recommend charging to 80% I feel like new EV owners only know 100% as a "fill up" and therefore that is the goal. What is the real impact of the 100% charge and when should EV owners expect to see degradation as a result?
Does your Ioniq 5 have a "matte" color? 🤔 Well, even if you don't have it, it's not very advisable to sit or lean on the vehicle with the risk of scratching the paint...🤦🏻♂️😔
@@soniqtheioniq1561 Ok. That's why I made a face of few friends when I saw how you sit in the Ioniq 5 with matte paint where it's difficult to remove the scratches...🤷♂️ Can't wait to see those new videos...😅
