I have a tough question, I stream on twitch and play online with my gaming cpu since I have dual monitors my issue is if someone is streaming a roku on wifi in another room and I’m streaming/gaming on twitch hardwired sometimes the roku lags/buffers I allocated 75 down for it when the device maxed out at 50 down and I have the rest of the download and 100% of the upload should I lower the qos slider I have 500/20 internet package
Do you play Warzone or MW2? If yes, please tell me if you are having packets burst during the game with the Netduma? Is being hell for me the past 5 weeks.
Traffic shaping is working only on download for me... upload run still on 100%, but i have both sliders on 70%. I read somewhere PPPOE Connection ( german Telekom connection ) could be the reason? Any Ideas or help for me?? This would be amazing. thx a lot
Great channel bro. Can I ask if you could help me one evening I am in Scotland and I have a Nighthawk XR500 and would you like to maybe get me on dischord and I can do a live thing just to see if I have the best settings? I am ok with pcs allthough I am a musician and I would like extra help. Thanks from Chris and keep up the great videos bro and help would be amazing if you are up for it
My ping has gone down and staying stable in the low 20s for the most part, but my aiming/movement feels inconsistently sluggish then suddenly it speeds up, like some kind of stuttering through the match. Anyone else experience this???
@@luisarmendariz884 I've noticed that increasing my ping threshold from 20s to 50s has solved the problem. Seems like 20s or lower is asking too much and the game tries to compensate too much causing jitter or something.
@@theoneders2056 sorry I just saw you’re response it looks like it’s fine now and i disabled DumaOS Games and added my consoles and increased bandwidth allocation to both 74/74 for download and upload just for gaming
It can be a little aggressive at times. Maybe it's being over cautious on this occasion. How does it feel when your gaming? Reach out to us in you need any help.
@@netduma I just placed the sliders at 70% each, I've never had issues gaming but I'm not sure about how the experience would be if I were to run a PC and an Xbox at the same time.
@@mags_dies you won't have have issues on multiple gaming device's run at the same time even without qos.the huge problem for many is the streaming or downloading in the background.it can be your phone,Xbox,or media device that will cause the aggressive impact to your network.the most accurate way Ive tested congestion control is playing warzone while streaming in the background.the magic bullet for me, was to drop my congestion control all the way down to 2% out of my 942 mb/s to have a very effective and stable connection.yes,Im somewhat disappointed that in real world testing that I had to drop my slider so low to get the results I wanted, but it worked so I'll take it for now.
New firmware is fantastic. The auto tools work really well and my buffer bloat is now A+
Glad you finally have your own channel for tutorials.
Beanz?
Your QOS is the best! Period!
Great video again Netduma!

I would really love a reboot schedule

How can you tell that the prioritization isn't working on upload? With your sliders set to 70%, you should be prioritizing traffic in both directions
QOS slashes my speeds in half. have done just about everything to rectify the situation, nothing helps besides turning qos off. any ideas ?
should add, its mainly download, slashes to half and upload loses about 100 mbs. i have 1k down and up.
can i use qos without using geo filter?
Can you use applications and devices at the same time or only 1 ? Just got a xr500 today
why dont i have auto setup on my xr500?
My QOS rapp isn't loading but all the others are, any reason why?
If you'd like to visit our forum, one of our technical support members will be able to help making sure all rapps are loading correctly

Hardwired to router on same desk with cat5e cable to Xbox one s. how come my latency still in 70s and 80s? I’m desperately looking for any solutions?

Love the router only is geo filter isnt loading on my xr1000
Did you fix this? I'm having that issue as well.
How can i know how much % of bandwith i should ur for my dowload and upload when im using my ps5
We recommend setting it at somewhere between 70-90% to start with. Play some games, see how it feels, then adjust it from there if needed.

Yes I have and I’ve been contacting them about it I’ve gotten a few resolutions but it’s still the same 😒

"all console and most PC games" literally shows like 10 games...
Can you add support for Escape from Tarkov, please? I beg of you ;)
Since I touched Qos I started lagging so frustrating
Does your router have sqm? If not it's still the same bs. that everybody sells consumers.
